We had a great time here !! A lot of very cool cars ! I was looking for this one truck that I've seen there a few times in the past....but he was not there. I believe it was a older 34 to 37 Chevy pickup, very light green mint type color, beautiful truck I was hoping to see it again, maybe next year !! Heres some pics of other trucks that were there. I ran into an old friend from high school, nice seeing you David !😎

It's my childhood Park. During the day it's a great place to bring your family and friends. Not very packed Monday through Friday. In the evenings you definitely do not want to be found in this park. Muggings and drug deals go down all the time, though this has decreased substantially in The last 5 years.

Nice quiet area everytime I've gone. Some people are friendlier than others, but that's to be expected. Its pretty and clean so it's good to walk around here.

A big and spacious park. It's a busy park and we particularly like the playground where children abound. The kids have fun exploring the park while I enjoyed a book under the shade. It was peaceful and serene and it's close to the library, that's the best part for me. #KimballPark #SanDiegoGuide #NationalCityGuide #LetsGuide

It's great for walking. Great trail and individual restrooms are a plus. Library on campus. Great family area with large playground and basketball courts and baseball field. Visit something to do for everyone.

Big park with lots of space for kids to run around or to have a picnic. It's a good place to get in some running or walking, only thing is there are a few transients and the knuckle heads who like to smoke by the stairs.

Kimball Park is a great place to bring the kids with a jungle gym, baseball field and skate park. Perfect for a picnic, or when you just want to go for a walk by yourself or with your dog. The bathrooms are cleaned regularly and the grounds are kept up well. Great park!

This is one of the most beautiful parks In San diego. What a sizable lush space! Which is all the more amazing when you consider its location in the busy environment of national city. I love to go play soccer at this park, especially power kicking the ball at the gigantic amphitheater steps ! My son likes to play at the admittedly improbable playground. Also, The city library is RIGHT HERE!!! The local PD is right across the street, and the place feels pretty official on top of serenely relaxing when you consider that the city town hall is also RIGHT THERE!!! One of My favorite parks!

Beautiful park and so much to do there. Regrettably I found no information anywhere on the history of the Kimball Park Zoo, should have a statue or plaque somewhere.

Beisball season has started, and lots of kids are playing, and people are their dogs, very family oriented park, there is restrooms, skateboard site, and tables for your carne asada parties, as well a play ground for small kids.

A nice place to take a walk, especially within the surrounding city. It's quiet, well kept, and a good place to soak up some sun. Good place to walk a dog too. Very glad it's here.

A family favorite! Covers all bases: Park / Small kid play area, skateboard park, basketball courts, baseball fields (we love to onlook games and/or practice go on) wide open field area for soccer and/or other miscellaneous play, stone amphitheater for stair-step workouts alΓ  Rocky Balboa turns Concert Area. Surrounded by the Beautiful National City Library, the Art Center, with plenty of parking (except for the busiest of days and/or events/special occasions - of which they have their fair enough share, like Juky 4 festival, end-of-year holidays festival, etc.)

Rating based off of the play ground area as that is our purpose for going to the park with the kiddos. The playground is in horrible condition! I have seen this decline over the past 6 years and it is time for an upgrade! Most slides have patches to cover holes, the smaller kids playground is now missing all connecting pieces (tunnel/ climbing net) that make it usable for a small child, the swing area has lost so many wood chips from underneath that it is a challenge for my 6 year old to get on the swing and one of the 2 baby swings is badly out of shape. Another issue was with a very loose climbing rail on the bigger kids playground. I wish I could love this park but sadly based off the playgrounds condition not even my kids enjoy it too much. Not to mention the homeless and questionable people who are often nearby.

Lovely park to Ride a bicycle with your kids. Parking is somewhat disorganized and limited. Skaters feel free to skate and if you wanna play base ball there is an area for that too. Not so much a picnic park because there are not a lot of hovering trees.

Nice baseball park with three field. Outfield is very lush and ball just dies after bouncing. Field could use some leveling and some mowing. Restrooms could use some cleaning too. They have water fountains and plenty of benches with trees for shades. Parking is not bad , spread across the park

I teally like this innovative skate park built along side a river walk. I hope skaters use it. Sadly, the river is full of trash again. Bathrooms could use more maintenance. Overall this is a very useable park with 3 baseball fields. basketball court, library, amphitheater and playground

Park is always neat and clean. Right next to the police station. All bathrooms are always locked. Most parents are rude as well as their kids. People are so rude and ghetto. Never crowded, park hidden behind library.

At was the national day of prayer. There were fourteen churches of different denominations gathered together in one mind and one accord. There was unity and agreement and surely the presence of the Lord fell in that park. Jesus Christ was touching lives. Amen.
