I really liked this park. Could use some graffiti removal and some landscaping. Has a pier that is very well maintained. Playground was nice but again had some graffiti. Great View of the Coronado bridge. Has changed A LOT since the last time I was here about 23 years ago. Glad to see no sign of gang members. The graffiti seemed to be mainly done by kids. Overall a great park to visit.

While kicking back a soccer team of boys and girls came through and took over the field. I enjoyed a meal a table along along with what looked like individuals who work on and with ships.

Great industrial park under the Coronado Bridge / I-5 transitions. Has tons of graffiti murals and a skate park. Makes for some great photos. Area has lots of events going on. Numerous good restaurants in the area. Park and walk around. Pier out the bay of San Diego just a couple blocks from here; also great for photos.

Beautiful park, I have passed by it thousands of times, nice pier at the end of the park with a beautiful view of the San Diego harbor and the Coronado bridge. Great place for soccer, relaxing, taking the dog to the park etc. Good job guys

Very nice upgrade. I had not been to this park in many years. There is a fishing pier. Went on Thanksgiving day to take a walk at like 8pm and it was a relaxing one..

What an amazing place to sit and have lunch! Watching boats dock while Naval ships pass was such a treat! Walking to the end of the dock is where they have multiple picnic tables where you can enjoy life and briefly forget Covid even exists!

Beautiful park with small pier to walk out to, very calm. You will find some smokers on there though hanging out so be warned if you have kids and prefer them not to be around smoke. The playground structure is for kids who love to climb and there is some swings. Huge grass area to play soccer. Theres one entrance to this park and if the train is leaving it will take a long time waiting to be able to come in or out, as the train blocks off the exit.

The park just got an upgrade in the largest portion of the park. The part that I am not a fan of is the pier. Folks abuse it horribly to where broken glass is everywhere making it unsafe. I wish more folks would treat it better. Otherwise great place to chill for a few.

The Pier is so beautiful. Went there for an event on the pier with techno/house music going on. It was definitely different experience. My only complaint was the garage created by the homeless that were there in tent housing.

I loved it I couldn't believe how calm and quiet it was. So close to the city escape and it was just nestled there in a quiet little corner. I left about 4:30 at the same time as the government workers. I think it closes at night but it would still be a little scary. I would recommend going alone be careful after 5. Otherwise it's a great place to fish and quite lovely

So it's my first time going to this park...a whole bunch teenagers just hanging around smoking perhaps drinking. Perhaps ditching School... Also there was a lot of car activity traffic cars parked around I'm sure because of the warehouses which really just made me not want to come back to this park The little playground area had one slide couple of rock Boulders for the little ones to climb.. one of them was broken it has four swings overall for a quick little play time was fun for the KIDS.... Will I be going back to that park No thank you. So much has to be improved.

Nice that it is by the bay and had night lights... But that's it. Fields will break ankles; no parking; trashed! Needs TLC! Needs more street parking.

What a great spot for day parties! Lots of room to set up and chill or dance the day away. Room for pop ups and chairs or blankets to sit on. Decent bathrooms, a lot of grass and a fun playground for the kids makes it an easy place to have an event. My daughter loves it because it’s close to the ocean and a fun place to play. there is a small parking lot but if it’s full there is parking along the road as well, and it’s not a far walk to even more parking in Barrio Logan. We love attending events here.

Got punched a few times by some Latino claiming some affiliation to a Logan Heights gang while napping in the park. There was a shooting just before that though. At least I didn't get shot in the leg so that's cool. During the day, the park is very family friendly and pleasant. I just wouldn't hang out there late especially if you're not familiar with the locals. Overall beautiful art, community feel, and family-oriented which is really nice and someone surely missing in a lot of American culture. It's just a shame it comes at the cost of some violence though. The park does have plenty of memorials so be careful to mind where you walk and respect the grounds.

Not much parking , but during the daytime it's enough. Busy a couple eves. a week for youth soccor/sport league. Relative safe , closes (parking lot) at 10pm .

Our 'home away from home'! We stay here a lot! Parking at night. We know lots of people here. We show kindness to E1. We share what we can... food, cigarettes and just listen to others.

Absolutely great place to take my dog, even though they have a large portion closed doing landscaping, it's a really chill place with a GORGEOUS view! 👍

Nice little park tucked away next to the Coronado bridge. Was here in a weekend and it was very quite except for a few families fishing. There was picnic tables on the grass and some at the end of the pier. Only downside is that the viewing telescope was broken. Overall a nice area to enjoy a quiet time. There are multiple benches and chairs for seating on and off the pier.

Cesar Chavez will always be a great spot to visit, I recently drove by and decided to stop by for fresh air and a different view, a couple years ago I had the pleasure to meet the art professor who worked on the metal sheet fish, she let me know that the project was created thanks to mostly all recycled units they are amazing!!

It is a gift to have a beautiful park that is spacious, clean and honors the community. Great option to host any event, contact the city for permits, permissions and details. Lots of space for local teams to practice. Even a nice location for a family reunion. Bathrooms were decent and centrally located in the park. Lots of parking available and a quarter mile from eateries, grocery store and Ryan's coffee. Also a safe location to walk with friends because the park's sidewalks and grass area are maintained. #barriologan #lafamilia #cesarchavez

Mellow, a good vibe if you want to be one with open scenery. Sometimes the construction is loud and there are shipyard workers sporadically around, but well worth the effortless time.

Nice little secret. Plenty of parking, a pier for a fantastic view & picnic (& usually a lot of people fishing but you aren't supposed to). The park is & looks new, spacious enough to not contact COVID-19. Has a public restroom & a lot of happy people especially kids. Also aerobic classes & other small groups gatherings (musicians, etc) can be found there. Very nice place for the kids, family, a date, or just yourself.

Nice park with nice views of the bay. They do have some seats at the end of the pier if you want to just sit and chill. I wouldn't go there at night though, I've heard is a place for pot heads to hand out and I figure it could be a bit dangerous if you go alone at night. Shame though, the views would be nice at night.

No shade. My friends and I can't sit in the sun for more than 10 minutes. Can't sit to enjoy the wondeful relaxing ocean water. Too many black SUV Escalades coming n going through the parking lot. Too many working business people walking around n consulting together. It's disruptive to the peacefulness of the park. Pretty green grass but look for the signs notifying the public of toxic pesticide spraying day. Bad for dogs to walk on and children to play on.

This park has a big patch of grass, most lokely used for soccer game. It also has picnic tables, and after covid-19 calms down, there will be a really fun looking playground. There is also a pier where you can look out at the bay.
