Wow this place is NASTY! Everywhere you walk you stick. When was the last time someone used a mop on the floors. I am fearful what's at the bottom of the foam pits. Pricing is outrageous on everything. Staff all masked for own safety of the building. City of Chula Vista should perform bacteria testing on all surfaces this place. They would be closed after that.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Sky Zone Chula Vista: A Customer's Perspective. My name is Omar and this experimented is regarding my father Mohamed. As a loyal member of Sky Zone Chula Vista for the past six months, I am disappointed to share my negative experiences with the establishment. On two separate occasions, my family and I were treated poorly by some of the employees, leaving us feeling unwelcome and unwanted. This review aims to shed light on the incidents that transpired and the unprofessional behavior exhibited by certain staff members. First Incident: The initial occurrence took place on unspecified date, where my family and I were treated horribly. The specific details surrounding this incident remain with us because I didn’t want to make it a big deal for the fist time because I usefully give people a benefit of doubt, but the negative encounter left a lasting impact on our overall perception of the business. Second Incident was today July 1st, 2023. On July 1st, 2023, at approximately 8:00pm, my brother-in-law was unfairly treated and subsequently kicked out of the establishment. He was attempting to explain his situation to the manager, Makaelah Gibson, when two young security guards intervened. Shockingly, one of the security guards provoked my brother-in-law by suggesting he catch an attitude with the manager, which escalated the situation further. In response to this provocation, my brother-in-law uttered an expletive. Instead of attempting to defuse the situation and find a resolution, the manager immediately sided with the security guards, instructing my brother-in-law to leave without any efforts to reconcile or smooth things over. Attempted Purchase: Before leaving, my brother-in-law requested to purchase socks for his three-year-old son so that the rest of the family could still enjoy their time at Sky Zone. Surprisingly, the employees denied his request, stating that they did not want his money and insisted he leave. Despite this, my brother-in-law persisted, emphasizing that the rest of the family would continue to stay. Eventually, the manager reluctantly gave permission for the purchase. However, throughout this ordeal, the employees made us feel uncomfortable by openly discussing and laughing at our expense. Unprofessional Behavior: Perhaps the most unprofessional incident occurred when the manager, Makaelah Gibson, started dancing as if she were in a club, even lifting her shirt to reveal a tattoo on her stomach. This behavior was completely inappropriate and detracted from the professional atmosphere that one would expect from a business establishment. Conflicting Policies: Furthermore, we sought permission from a security officer to bring outside food into the facility, which was initially granted. However, once we purchased the food and it arrived, the staff abruptly changed their stance, stating that outside food was not permitted. We informed the manager about the prior approval we had received, but she insisted we leave the premises. This inconsistency in policies left my family feeling unjustly treated, especially knowing that other individuals had brought in food without any objections. Conclusion: In light of these unfortunate incidents, I implore the corporate office of Sky Zone to thoroughly investigate the situation. By reviewing the security camera footage, they will be able to witness the treatment my family and I endured. It is disheartening to feel unwelcome and unwanted in a place that my children love. It is my sincere hope that the management addresses these concerns and takes the necessary steps to improve their customer service, ensuring a more positive and inclusive experience for all patrons.

Pros: • Newer equipment than past years I have been here. • You get to jump and still have some fun! But... Cons: • Cleanliness on floors. Mentioned in past comments when has this floor been properly cleaned. Understanding many people walking around but trash piling up after the 1 and a half hours being here is quite lazy. • THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD!!! On a SATURDAY NIGHT ( other than Lay's chips, candy and certain soft drinks). NO Pizza, Nachos, Pretzels, Hot Dogs and ect... People were complaining about having to leave and get their own pizza and bringing I back. • In comparison to Jump Around, Skyzone is quite small especially for the amount of people they allow in the building. • The workers don't pay attention and didn't enforce rules as many children were smacking into each other from running across every platform as fast as they can. Workers talking amongst each other and looking busy instead of making sure the children are playing safely and still having fun. You can see with the Security just playing on his phone out front and the other chatting with other for over 10 minutes. We walked passed them and the security on the left was on his phone for a bit. I used to come here a lot with my daughters but seems like I have to wait a little but until certain things are fixed. Safety is definitely number one and throughout my experience today seems like Jump Around would be the better option for a trampoline park. Stay safe out there guys!

First time here with my 5 year old and three year old. I was able to get a good deal on Groupon for the two of them for around $30 for 90 minute play. Not a bad price for experiencing something new and letting them run around and release all their energy. We arrive Friday around 2:30 google maps said they opened at 2. I was able to find a good parking spot right out front the business. It is located on the left of the awaken church. First impressions were that it looked big and spacious. It was not too crowded and the line to check in went very smoothly. You can fill out their waiver online if you are new to make the process easier. I did not like that you have to pay to use their socks! I bought my own grip socks but was told we have to buy theirs for $3 a pair. The seating area was nice and I like that you can easily see your kids in all the areas since it's pretty open. The snack prices are fairly decent and bathrooms were clean. Plenty of workers around. I also liked that they had outlets to charge your phone since you are there in 90 minute intervals. There were only two that I can see and the seats were already occupied. Overall, I will most likely visit again!

Went for the first time with a groups of kids ages 10-13. It was perfect for them. Check-in took a while but was relatively painless. The only issue we had was that they had no hot food (pizza, hotdogs, pretzels, etc) available. And if you've been with a bunch of boys anywhere, you know they get hungry. You can only feed them so many bags of chips. We had to go someplace else for them to eat. But overall, they had a great time.

Took my four boys to Sky Zone to enjoy their first Saturday during summer break and I was sadly disappointed. There was no AC; I was sweating just sitting at the table. The ceiling had hanging insulation??!? It was over crowded, my boys didn’t even get to play dodgeball or enjoy the basketball goal because it was sooo many people and not enough accommodations. A wast of 60 minutes. I wish I would have checked it out in person before paying online. My boys did not enjoy themselves, I had to take them to another indoor park to redeem myself as this place did not meet our expectations! I won’t even speak on sanitation…

This place has danger written all over it. I love taking my kids there, but the team there needs to create kid hours (for say 11 and under) and non-kid hours (12+). The staff there does a HORRIBLE job of stopping big kids from double jumping and flailing around toward the little and little-littles. That could be perceived as gross negligence on the gym's part. Some of the big kids are 180lbs+ jumping into a pit where there are 2 years old. If they hit, that 2 year old has no chance. Quit putting money ahead of safety and create either spaces for kids that are "safe zones," or allocate times where kids can feel safe jumping without reckless older kids. It makes sense and puts lives and safety ahead of profit. At the end of the day, that waiver won't protect your conscience if someone dies or ends up paralyzed. And since most of the pit "attendees" are usually on their phones texting or chatting with each other, it's only a matter of time until someone gets hurt and you're haled into court on a gross negligence cause of action. Be smart!

Lots for kids to do for jumping however might as well get the day pass if you have the time. There's tables to sit on.if you don't want to jump can bring, book, computer, etc to keep occupied. There's also small goodie shop to get snacks. Ideal fun for the family.

For the amount they charge per person, this place needs some remodeling. Some activities are closed during the week. Their private party rooms are small, and the bathrooms are worse than those in beach public restrooms.

I fly from Tampa to San Diego every year for a week so that I can see my grandson and attend his birthday party. Last year the party was at Sky Zone. Everyone had a great time! The employees were great with the kids and their party host made sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the transition from the jump area, into the party room and to the end of our time limit in the facility, all the while making sure we all had everything we needed for our meal, gift opening and cake. We didn't have to worry about set up or clean up! It was a wonderful experience! Give them a try!

First time hosting a birthday party for my son at Sky Zone since moving back to SD. It was an awful experience. From the check in being so unorganized and time consuming. Also the party room floors were soaked and wet at 1:30 which was my party time. I was on my knees drying the floors with napkins. Finally got my guest in the room by 1:45. Also the party room had ants. I just feel that they were under staffed, and many kids were unsupervised. My 2 year old daughter was flipped in the air by a boy who wasn’t being watched. And my host was never around. I asked to speak to a manager several times but she wasn’t very helpful. I know my kids had fun, but as a party host it was very stressful to the point of me wanting to cry.

The amount of people allowed at one time is unreal. Perfect for teenagers, horrible for kids. We used to love coming here, the facility and the equipment was always so clean, the employees were very attentive and would actually enforce the rules to maintain a safe environment. Unfortunately that was 6 years ago. -They had no food available, completely out of stock of everything but plain lay's chips. -Water was completely out of stock as well. -There was no seating available for the amount of people inside. -They floor was absolutely disgusting. There were wrappers and trash all over the floor. -Restrooms had no toilet paper, the hand soap dispenser was broken, and they were so dirty. -They new price is not worth the experience. I could go on... But I feel like I've made my point. I hope management interferes sometime soon. Please take your family somewhere else.

Just got my three kids elite passes and let’s talk about Michelle the manager. She is amazing. I’be have been here twice a day for the past week. (My kids are Obsessed) ive seen Michelle motivate her staff, empower them and is just super quick to jump into action for anything. I’m honestly impressed with this place and the management is supreme. Give her a raise!!!!!!

It's getting to the point where I no longer feel safe coming here. The second to last time an adult threatened my child (during our birthday party!!), then proceeded to cuss out the staff for the next hour (repeatedly). She was never asked to leave despite her behavior. This most recent visit today multiple groups of younger children maybe around 10 years old were dropped off by their families and left unattended. Where they proceeded to get in multiple fights with each other and scream and cuss each other out I'm front of my small children. If people CANNOT BEHAVE and create and unsafe environment they should be asked to leave. After the first occurrence I can't even get any of my friends to return here.

Well kept location, clean and friendly staff. We were here for a birthday party. The kids had a great time and it wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon. It does feel cramped and I can't imagine what it's like when it's really busy. I did think the staff could have been more attentive to the birthday party family, but overall it was an awesome experience.

This place is so fun for our nephew who is 5y. He loves going to play jump basketball. Most of the older kids there are good to him, let him play etc. My problem with the place is the check in process. Seems to me there could be a more efficient way to do this. We had to input our information twice and even then a Supervisor had to get involved. They were pretty cool but DANG it really seemed a pain

Went on a Sunday afternoon for a little ones birthday party....it was beyond busy! A lot of the areas were overtaken by "big kids" and there's not enough staffing overall. Those that were there working were GREAT. The play areas themselves are really fun and appropriate for all ages, but I've been to parks before where there's designated areas for smaller kids, maybe that's something to consider if you have a very small jumper!

The jumpers is fun but if you planning to host a party and rent one of their rooms know that it doesn't have A/C and your gonna sweat bullets, especially after all the kids have just done exercise and they are walking heaters, drink a lot of water.

I highly recommend a monthly membership (is very cost-effective). The kids seem to have a great time, even my electronic-addicted grandson loves it enough to actually be off of his devices and gadgets! And it’s nice to see the kids engage and actually OFF OF THEIR PHONES! The only problem is that lots of the kids lack parental supervision (they’re either absent or on their phones). SlyZone staff is great, excellent customer service. Parking is plentiful and convenient. They have a snack bar and a few arcade-type games. The accessible areas are well-kept. And they have about 3-4 comfy couch areas for us big kids. Although underneath the play areas (non-accessible to the public could use some serious spring cleaning).

Way too many people allowed in at once, without enough floor monitors. There should be a cap on how many people are allowed in at once. This created an unsafe play environment for all. Along with only parts of the play area being open. Needs better oversight system to regulate the entire space safely.

We first met Michelle just a few days ago at the Chula Vista location, watching how she handled a simple spill that could have easily injured so many kids gave my husband and I the confidence that brining my kids here we'd be in good hands. Michelle is absolutely amazing.. I've never seen someone navigate through that Many issues so quickly and evidently. Bringing our kids whilst she works makes me happy to come here .

Everything here is chaotic! ( Sunday 04/30 @ 3PM) Parties offer only 1 hour of jump time per jumper but charge you $400 minimum. Attractions and trampolines are extremely crowded and after you finish waiting in line your 1 hour is up. Food mediocre & to top it off they didn’t have our party space available on time! DO NOT RECOMMEND, GO TO JUMP AROUND!

The kids enjoyed jumping. I would not recommend doing a birthday party here. Too expensive for no private room. Although your party is booked at 12. You and your guest gave to wait until it's time to eat before they give you your table. Do from 12pm to 230pm guest and I are standing and waiting with gifts and balloons for two and a half hours. Although are pizza wasn't ready, they kicked us out of the table at 3pm for the next party. Our host did try to make it a good experience BUT, as I said, not recommend for parties.

We visited for the first time today to celebrate a family member's birthday. It was very chaotic when checking in. There was a line yet some people behind the counter were standing around talking and eating. They had a hard time finding our waivers. After that was done, I was disappointed to see that there was hardly anywhere to sit while the kids were jumping. A couple of areas were closed so the kids didn't have as many options for jumping. When we got to the "party room" it was very disappointing. It was a small area with half walls so there wasn't any privacy and it was hard to move around because there wasn't enough room. The floors were so sticky my sandals kept coming off my feet because they were stuck to the floor. They also doused the area with chemicals before our party and the smell was so strong I got a headache. The staff didn't come around until it was time to pay. I've had much better service at other party locations. WORST of all - it was so hot! We asked someone to crank up the AC and they said it doesn't work well. The kids didn't want to jump long because they were getting overheated. None of our guests said they would come back to SkyZone. Such a bummer for the party girl ☹️

  • 1/5 Mona W. 1 year ago on Google
Overall it could of been fun but it seemed like everything I was doing with my children was a problem. Couldn’t jump with the babies or let my 6 year old son on the wipe out when he was already let on before I didn’t like Stephens attitude when I questioned him to way he wouldn’t let my son on the wipe out game he said because he was a little bit under the line. The kids enjoyed themselves but I definitely wouldn’t bring them back here ever again.

I like the place and it’s super fun. I came on Sunday evening around 5pm. However, I don’t like that they do not have a spot for the toddlers to play alone. They’re mixed with all the age groups including teens and it’s not safe for toddlers to play around them in the trampolines. It’s hard to explain to a 2YO not to follow teenagers around the trampoline and risk getting my kid trampled. I understand they have specific day and times for toddlers but it’s still not promised that any older kids can’t come around here. They really should remodel certain sections to create a trampoline sections for age 2-5 to keep them safe. It poses a risk for the babies to keep ages 2-15 and possibly older in the same trampoline especially when it’s crowded.

Went for a birthday party. Sticky floors that didn't get cleaned after at least 3 people told them about the different spills on the floor. This got tracked onto the trampolines- yuck. Also, they don't allow mixed ages for their dodge ball. What's the fun if you can't bean your kids?! Rockin Jump totally supports the family fun- go there instead.

Outstanding venue for keeping kids busy and active. Food is just ok. Exceptional service, from beginning to end by our assigned party hostess, Angelique. If you are ever there for a party request her service. Plenty of parking, not easily visible from the street. Other good restaurants and businesses in the nearby area. Will definitely be considering a return for future kids party needs.

Was attending a party for my niece and the food took extremely too long to come out. The children were hungry from jumping around. When the food did arrive they were small and some were overcooked. Also one of the hostess were rushing my sister out of the room after we just gotten our food. We had to explain to her that we needed time to eat as everything ran behind dur to no fault of ours. I was visiting from out of town but this was a horrible experience.

Great place for kids and adults alike to get their energy out! Pretty reasonably priced considering. Only complaint I have is that they need more staff during certain times. I watched a team member trying to scramble to find someone cover the snack bar as there was a pretty significant line but assigned staff members to certain stations couldn't really afford to leave their spot, I even observed a staff member look at the line and step into the staff members only door without going to help the line. Eventually one of the staff members had to leave their assigned station to assist the snack bar. Then 2 staff members proceeded to help themselves to the soda machine over helping guests at the snack counter. I just feel all of it could be avoided with better planning. Other then that my kids are happy with their experience and that's all that matters to me!

Too many rules and the people that work there think they're cops with their little whistles.

It's okay, $20 for 90 minutes. Took my boy for his 15th, good workout, they had fun. Seems more for the 6-14 age group.

We recently booked a glow in the dark party for my daughter. My daughter and all her guests had a blast. Everyone enjoyed it. Staff was amazing, courteous, and upbeat. I highly recommend Sky Zone for your next birthday party.

It was good and all but, wish they would let use do backflips into the foam pit.

I used to really like going here until they built up the trampoline park. Now its way too crowded.
