My wife and I were looking for a sushi please to try and ended up at Unisushi located at the Chula Vista mall on Broadway. We decided to sit outside and ordered a couple of chicken teriyaki bentos and a couple of drinks. The food was delicious and fully enjoyed it. Service was fast and prices were a little bit high but with prices soaring high on almost everything these days is fully understandable. We will be back when in the area.

Exceptional food and great service at very reasonable prices. UniSushi is one of the best places I have been in Chula Vista. The seafood is so fresh that you feel it was caught in the morning and served in the afternoon. The owner came to our table a few times to ask if all was ok and the server did a fenomenal job. If your in the mood for Sushi this is the place to go!

Wish I could give a 4.5, but it wasn't a 5, as much as it was a 4. The food was fresh, and affordable (for the most part) Would come again Uni tasted fresh, all rolls were made well and with good quality ingredients Salmon was cooked tender and juicy; Calamari was tender and crisp. I only wish they'd be more specific of the ingredients per roll, for people who are glutten intolerant or have dietary restrictions. Staff was friendly and kind.

Started with Orion some nigiri Ika, Saba, Murugai , Hokkigai, unagi and some Gyoza( would have like them to be crispier at the bottom) but the Hamachi Kama was outstanding. thats why Im keeping the 5 stars. Mixed fried rice was also amazing and a great compliment. I was surprised they had salted wasabi stems 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Don't recommend it I didn't have great expectations of this place but they made it worst than I expected. I order the crab bowl and in the ingredients they didn't put it comes with avocado ,Mayo and some creamy sauces . I don't like mayo and avocados I needed to change the plates with the person I was with . My friend got a lunch order and it was one of the worst sushi I have tried. Even the rice was surprised horrible had a weird flavor and taste and is difficult to make a bad sushi but they made it .

I love this place just because of their salmon dish, it's amazing! 🤩 The sushi is good too, I highly recommend the tempura roll A, that's a good one, but just like any other restaurant they also have some things in their menu that aren't that good such as the fried rice, I didn't like it at all, it had a weird flavor.

The good: the sushi is good. presentation is good. The sauces are flavorful. The guys behind the counter took pride in making our sushi. The bad: where is the rest room. The ugly: check your receipt before you pay we almost got stuck with 2 items that we didn't even order.

Chicken Yakisoba. Same thing my Boucher Trash. 🫤🤢🤮 Very overvalued not quality and taste SORRY 😞. NEVER AGAIN

This specific sushi restaurant is truly incredible. It has lofi playing in the background, and the decoration and environment was fantastic. The plate they delivered to our table tasted as amazing as it looked. Easy 5 stars.

I certainly really recommend this place, loveee the food. I will say the prices are quite high, but worth it. I’ve gone twice and food was very delicious and tasty, Im usually a picky eater but this place was amazing🤩

I was disappointed because I had ordered two california rolls, one regular and one baked. When I think of a baked roll, I think of a crunchy layer on the outside. My hot california roll was very much not baked. The sauce on top of it was also a little runny, which is not appealing. I’ve dined in here a few times before and it was fine, but the one time I order takeout… i’m dissatisfied.

A bit pricey but the food and service is really good. No bathrooms.

Great spot, I order there all the time but this time they skimped on the spicy tuna and just gave me wads of crab salad. They say it’s in there but I don’t see it. What gives? I like the convenient location and would like to give them the benefit of the doubt but I’m not sure I can go back now. My roommates certainly won’t.

We ordered Alaskan Roll, Crunchy Roll, Dynamite Roll and Nabeyaki Udon. Alaskan and Dynamite Rolls were very good and enjoyed by all. The Crunchy roll was just ok. The spicey Udon was a warm finish, for a cold rainy day.

Friendly, rolls were tasty just not rolled tight and fell apart as yoir trying to eat them. Best Sunmo seaweed salad ive ever had.

We went during lunch special and got a great deal! Highly recommend the chicken teriyaki combination lunch special!

Has been my favorite sushi spot since we followed the chef from his last place he was at. My husband and I have always been treated like royalty here. The service is superb and the food tastes amazing. If you want a true culinary arts sushi spot, this is the spot to go. My husband and I moved away from California two years ago and we miss you every day Uni! I was happy to stop by a couple of days ago while in town. Much love to you mis amigos!
