👍👍 It was a small but impactful place. The food was good and great bread choices for breakfast, I had steak and eggs with a smoothie which was great and a plate of the small pancakes which were mid. But none the less good place People often mention breakfast, good, great, small, delicious, salad, service, recommend, coffee, ordered,

I revisited with my mother on our weekly breakfast/coffee date and service and food is delicious. I loved the vegan options and we tried an omelette and breakfast croissant, you can also pick fruit and potatoes for your sides but we picked fruit because we love it. We also ordered the honey latte and Mexican mocha, the honey latte was a little strong and they gladly exchanged it for a Mexican mocha for my mother because she liked it a lot. We agreed to come back soon to try more from their menu!

Best papaya smoothy in town. The seasoning and portion size are plentiful. Their timing for executing a hot meal needs to improve! Overall, a pleasant breakfast experience. We would definitely go back, if only for their drinks and house salsa. Recommend: papaya smoothy, oatmeal, and the omelette with a bucket of salsa.

This place is super cute! Homey café vibes, incredibly friendly staff, and a robust menu of food and breakfast focused drinks (no alcohol). Mole chilaquiles were SO delicious. (Not pictures, we ate them way too fast.) The breakfast grilled cheese was so hearty and filling but didn't have a good balance of cheese with all the other ingredients (2 eggs, sausage Patty, bacon, and ham slices). I would recommend waiting for a table inside, instead of sitting outside. We went during typical brunch hours on a Saturaday and basically walked right up to the counter to order, although parking and inside tables were difficult to find. We will definitely be back though!

Please support this small business. In a weird little corner strip mall. That being said, great breakfast food. Personally, breakfast is my love language, and this place has been consistently delicious. A cute little combo of breakfast and lunch items with juices and smoothies as well as coffee and espresso. You know how sometimes you want to support a small mom and pop independent restaurant or business instead of a large chain (I love Snooze, for example), but sometimes it’s a little too…sketch? Like, food is good but it’s too dirty or employees weirdly mean, ya know? This is exactly not that. It’s not sketchy. Rather, it’s cute and pleasant with friendly service; you can tell that they’ve made the place more homey with flowers and decorations throughout without being overly trying hipster. Highly recommend.

Good lunch. Both plant based and chicken. Very busy and noisy while eating inside. Good place for quick lunch if on the Mile of Cars.

This charming, small breakfast spot in National City, San Diego, is a hidden gem. It's in a strip plaza with ample parking, and it's always busy, which is a great sign of freshness and quality. The portions are generous, and the food is delicious. The friendly owner makes you feel right at home. If you're in San Diego and want a hearty breakfast, don't miss this place!

Got a BLT, and it was great! The place is clean. Gave an average for atmosphere because there was a loud and consistent clicking noise inside (I think it was the air conditioner and fans.

The place is small, but nice. The staff is super cool. I got the chicken sandwich special and it was good and fresh. First time there. Not my last !!!

Todays order of chicken Caesar salad was not good. There are tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, walnuts and dried cranberries in this salad. Trying to add more toppings that do not generally go in a Caesar salad, also was lacking enough Caesar dressing.

First time visiting and the overall experience was really nice. I ordered the Pastrami sandwich with chips and it was delicious. I want to revisit at some point to try the breakfast items.

The vibe here is very relax and welcoming. They have coffee, smoothies, breakfast, lunch. Overall good menu selection. I ordered the Guadalajara chilaquiles with red sauce. They taste pretty darn good. I also ordered a very berry smoothie and it was good as well. Overall good hidden hole in the wall restaurant. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Love this place--family who runs it is so cool & hospitable--my husband had the ribeye steak & eggs breakfast served with potatoes--delicious--I had BLT w/salad & strawberry smoothie--made with fresh fruit & ice cream--lots of other choices too--tasty! Reasonable prices--we often stop for breakfast or lunch on our way back home to Imperial Beach

I had the pastrami melt on this visit with onion rings. Sandwich was excellent but might pass on the rings next time. Staff was attentive and helpful. Parking is normally pretty full in the small lot but off street parking on the main road in front of next door used car lot was available.

Came with a party of 7 with many different food preferences - dairy free, vegetarian, gluten free, meat- eaters. We all found something to hit the spot and fill us up. Very impressed with the variety and portion size. Would def recommend and def come back!

I asked about the extra side of dressing when I was there picking up a salad recently and I was told it was in the bag. Once I got to work and opened everything up it was not. The time after that I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad, and after arriving at work and opening it up I saw it came with walnuts (which aren't listed as a topping on any of their salads), cranberries (?), cucumbers, and broccoli. I was expecting romaine with chicken and parmesan only. It's almost as if I got the Ahi Tropical Tuna salad, but with the chicken and dressing from a Caesar salad. Not only that, but there were raw pieces of chicken in the salad. This combined with a so so Monte Cristo from another visit, and I won't be returning.

So let's start with the cons as that's why you're here right? The pickle spear wasn't crispy, and the burger was a tad over cheese and loaded for my PERSONAL preference. Fries were on the small side. Ok, the acai smoothie was an awesome light balance to a double bacon single patty cheese burger with shrimp (extra.) Fries perfectly cooked, and the home made onion rings were not soggy, greasy, cold, or pulling apart. Worth coming, and giving them your money. I'm looking forward to breakfast. From time to order to food received was about 5 to 10 minutes, with an arrival and order time around 11:15am. It quickly got busy, but they kept the line managed and people were moving so do not expect a wait. Even the take orders were ready before the recipients arrived so they were clearly efficient. Wooden plates were a nice twist, adding to the rustic feel of the place. Family owned and operated and when we were there they were promoting a fund raiser for the purchase of an ambulance for a village down in Mexico.

While waiting for my cars oil change to be completed by my favorite Mechanic's Best Smog on the corner of 18th and National City Boulevard I happened to walk here and had a great surprise! This cozy little restaurant has the perfect ambiance for a great breakfast. They have lunches as well but I've only tried their delicious breakfast and the Mexican coffee is to die for! Super hot and so tasty better than all those other expensive coffee places! They also have a smoothie, expresso, veggie and fruit juice bar that also includes Wheatgrass shots, ginger shots all that you can think of is good for your health! The place is adorable and very inviting, open all week but close on Sundays.

This little deli is tucked away in an unassuming strip mall across the street from a car dealership. The food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Decent meatless options and lots of beverages, including cold brew coffee and kombucha on tap. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!
