You must have patience to eat here. However you will be grateful once you bite into the several layers of cheese and pepperoni. Then the crust takes it up a notch to delightful. The pie is worth the wait. The buffalo wings are spicy but delicious. Great service!

Maybe I came in at a weird time, but I wasn’t super impressed by the food or service here. The pizza was decent, though the crust left something to be desired. The salad was a bit overpriced for what it was. My favorite item was the carrot cake. The service was spotty and the waitress was absent for long periods of time even though there weren’t that many people in. That said, the cashier was really nice and helpful. Overall it was a fairly mediocre experience. There are a lot of other pizza places I’d recommend over this spot: Tribute, Bronx, Lefty’s, and Regents are all places I prefer. Again, maybe it was an off day. I’d recommend going elsewhere for a great pizza and experience, however.

Perfect place for Italian food! Coming from Chicago to be impressed by pizza is a mission - and man is this pizza good! The cheesy bread was perfect as was the lasagna. Shrimp scampi was good but a bit on the lemony side.

Nice little Italian place. Portions are good, food tastes good, but I think it’s a little pricey. $4 for a soda.

Wanted to try a local spot while I was down here and saw there was a place close that had pizza...and it's pizza, how can pizza be bad...ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza and normally I wouldn't get something like that but I was coaxed to give it a try by my date...got back home and wow...the staff was very nice and the pizza was great..and I was told by my date that it was one of the best pizzas they've had. I still haven't tried the piece of cheesecake we got also but it is sitting in the fridge for later

Usually one of my favorite Italian dishes. Linguine with clams. My son had the lasagna. And this place did not do it justice. Was happy with the service. My son also did not care for his dinner. Had this place for lunch one day and was good. But will probably not be coming back.

Delicious food, friendly service, and clean. We had a large group and ordered salads, wings, spaghetti, and pizzas. They did a great job serving fresh food in a timely manner. Didn't give a fifth star because I found the pizza salty for my taste despite me being a salt lover. I will go back and see if it was the day or just their recipe. Still enjoyable pizza and everything else was five stars!!!

I've heard about this place before and finally decided to try it. Very comfortable and clean restaurant. The food and service was above my expectations. As soon as I got there I was greeted and sat on a booth. I was even given recommendations. I got the Pete's buffalo wings and the spaghetti amatriciana with shrimp. Very tasty wings and the pasta was amazing as well. Haley was the server helping me out. She was very attentive and friendly. Her service was above and beyond. My whole experience was. The restaurant is well lit with plenty of fans for air circulation. There's an AMI music jukebox if you want to put music. There's a very nice full bar as well. The restroom is very spacious & clean. I will definitely be coming back. This might be my go-to for Italian food. As a San Diego native, I wish I would have known about it earlier.

Didn't dine in, but the place looked very clean and ppl seated were enjoying themselves. Mine was to go and didn't disappoint. Definitely would go back and I highly recommend the sweet chili wings. Yummm

I first ate here in the early 90s. It was a great place with great food. I was back in town this week and stopped in to eat here again close to 30 years later and the food was every bit delicious as I remembered!! Great staff and one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I wish there were more family owned places like this where I am living now. Hopefully I can return again soon.

Best pizza in the south bay, use to come here as a kid, now I am bringing my own son here now. Alot of happy memories, still keeping it original. The chicken parmesan is a must have. They are not shy at all with the meat on the sandwiches, I believe i had the Sicilian sandwich. Love it!

Went with 3 other coworkers who exclaimed it was the best place they had during our stay in San Diego (came all the way from Maine). I am inclined to agree that the service was friendly and the food was very well done. The crust is crispy, with the toppings being on top and under the cheese. Reasonable price made it a highlight during our time in San Diego. After trying out multiple different restaurants of various cuisines, I would love to come back here when I visit San Diego again.

By far I was impressed with the sausages how they were homemade . The size of the pieces of sausages you can taste how much love and care was put into the type of seasoning they selected and hand tossed or hand created Get the lasagna and mushrooms sausages pizza Yuuuum

First time here and it was the best! Cheesy bread and pizza were delicious! Couldn't finish everything! Definitely coming back! First time trying a cannoli and it was delicious! Definitely a favorite from now on!

I dined in for lunch on a Wednesday, I was the only customer for most of my meal. The Food was better than I expected, portions weren't as big as I was hoping them to be. The Waitress was very attentive and pleasant, of course it helped there were hardly any customers there. All in all it's worth returning There.

This is what came when i ordered $10 stuffed mushrooms... 🤷 I mean it taste good, but 6 tiny mushrooms??? Should have been 5 bucks.. TOPS!

Been coming here with my family since I was a kid and always loved it. Yesterdays experience was disappointing. Ordered pizza- one of them a Margarita for the vegetarian. They gave us a meat lovers. We had to drive back in 25 minutes to pick up a new one. Got there and they had forgotten to make it so we had to wait another 15 minutes. 0 compensation was offered besides a ‘sorry about that’. They could have offered a glass of wine or a soda at least while we waited. Or breadsticks for the starving vegetarian that had been waiting to eat. Food was great though- as always.

Overall, Napoleone's is a fantastic place to grab a tasty meal from without breaking the bank too much! I've both done dine-in and take-out with them, and every experience has been absolutely pleasant! The staff are friendly and experienced. There's been a few times when they were also able to make solid recommendations from their menu and have not disappointed! The atmosphere is very reminiscent of "humble beginnings" and a type of local charm that I love, personally. I've never had the pleasure of dining with them for breakfast, but every experience with lunch and dinner has been the best for both me and my family! Napoleone's Pizza House is a local restaurant that I am proud to visit often, knowing I leave with a positive vibe and a good meal.

I thought I was just going to be having a nice mom and pop pizza and it turns out this is one of my top slices of all time! I ordered a pizza to go and they were kind enough to make it even 5 minutes after the restaurant had closed I think, they handed me a box and I swear I needed both hands to carry it and I'm a strong man! Last time I had a pizza where one or two slices maximum would fill up a grown man was when I was in Manhattan about 30 years ago and this pizza was just as good as any back East slice. They also had so many other things on the menu and all looked very delicious. A very great value as one pizza fed two people one night and I had slices with my son on two consecutive mornings as it was even better cold the next day! I would order an extra pizza if I was you to have cold slices the next day or two because it's really good either way hot or cold, excellent ratio of cheese to crust and such a nice family who runs the place. Give it a try and tell me what you think

Do you love cheese? You will love this pizza. Cool little spot lots of pastas and side dishes. Wings were good. Pizza was great. Lots of cheese. Solid crust. It came out how and looked a little floppy but the crust held up with a good crunch.

I have been going this establishment many years and I have never had any complaints. Today was a very disappointing day for experience. We ordered two pizzas and when my step-daughter went to pick them up they forgot one pizza. So she had to wait for the other pizza so she asked if they would make two fresh ones because the other one would get cold. The bald gentleman at the front said no. He made another pizza and gave us one cold pizza and one fresh pizza. The gentleman behind the counter had a very bad attitude and was yelling at the young lady at the register. Customer service is my number reason to return to an establishment and in my opinion customer service was not his number one concern today. I will not be going back to this pizzeria ever again. Over 20 years of loyalty to this place from me and over 40 years from my family. Today this made me not ever want to walk-in her ever again. A mistake was made but the nasty attitude of one individual made it worse.
