The food was overall great and we took the food home. Then we spotted while we were gonna eat left over food a deep fried bug. We went back and tell them what we found, but they thought we planted the bug to get free food. Never coming here again

D'lish Bistro in the Terranova shopping center This place has been here in Chula Vista for 33 years. Bread, sauces, pasta, desserts & dressing are all Housemade. One of my favorite places to find VEGAN delicious food. Big portions! They have Paleo menu too. I had the vegan grilled vegetable sandwich. Loaded with perfectly well chard veggies. A gem in our city!

They put pig on my vegetarian pizza. I ordered a large vegetarian pizza for pick up and left a tip. It was for my sons birthday party. When I got home I saw that they had put pork on it. Although I provided them pictures of the meat on the pizza, they wanted me to drive the 39 miles back to the restaurant to return the pizza. They only offered me $10 for the trouble. Really disappointed in how this was handled.

1st time here. Definitely won't be the last. Service and food were fantastic.

I will start by saying. I'm not big on Italian Restaurants. Tomato Sauces don't agree with me very well. This Restaurant was decent. The Food quality was good. we had a Cheese Pizza A The Works Pizza and A Gyro Wrap. The Cheese pizza tasted great. The cheese was quality excellent, the crust was not over done, not supper crispy but good. The Works Pizza was, well the peperoni looked a little weird to me, butt he rest of the pizza was good. Now I'm also not into Gyros myself but I did pinch a piece of meat from the wraps, it was nice juicy and tasty. Now what was weird is they charged per refill of Raspberry Ice tea. A good surprise was the had Manzanita sol. I'm a big fan of of Apple flavored sodas and this one was great. I had 3 refills no extra charge. The Price, well in my opinion the place is a little pricy. The Cheese Pizza was $14.00 , just cheese.. The works was $17.00 Gyro Wrap, $13.50. But again the quality was good. I was not sorry I tried this place at all.

The first 2 times we had Dlish the food was great. However the 3rd time we called to pick up and when we got home the order was wrong. I let it slide since the manager apologized. The next time I paid over 70 dollars for delivery service and ordered 18 dollars pizzas and over priced food, the pizza was missing toppings and the bruschetta was missing olives as well. When I called the manager was very rude and wanted me to take 15 dollars of credit! Has she not seen gas prices and their food prices?? We will never return! Manager needs some customer service training asap!

So we stopped going to D Lish for about 3 years ,use to go very often at least once a week. But then things started to happen ,undercooked food dry food overcooked food,the inconsistencies on their food went on and on Until one day we decided to let the manager in charge about what s been going on , and to our surprise the manager was very rude and indifferent about the complaint. That made us stop going to D Lish ,,a place we used to enjoy very much having lunch or dinner at. After a little over 3 years we decided to give this place one more chance. After the second time we are there a couple weeks ago it happens again, the family have their favorites and what we go there for , so from one weekend to the other we all pick the same plates and we all got totally different looking food. Its seems that the chefs or cooks go their own way If not supervised or simply dont care ,,and they do what they feel like doing. Really hope the owner or anyone in Charge from D Lish do something about this

IMO, this is a neighborhood treasure, with a cozy, pet friendly, warm and inviting vibe. Not a tourist-y, trendy, pizza slice joint. My favorites are the Eggplant Parm and Cajun Alfredo Fettucini. Their marinara and cream sauces are the best! The first time I tried it I thought the prices seemed a little high, but when the food came to the table I understood. Each dish is enough for a full meal for two, and the food is truly "D'Lish." I eat here at least once or twice a month. Since Covid, I have only been ordering take out, and the quality of the food is exactly the same. Every employee I have come in contact with has been friendly, polite and professional (dine in or take out), even when they are super busy. Congrats to the chefs, the staff and the management. Give it a shot and Buon Appetito!

We loved the pasta!!! The pizza was ok but the pasta was delicious!! Perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the bread was just fresh out of the oven...my kids loved the place and the staff was really nice and attentive. We are definitely coming back!

Very cozy atmosphere for the locals. Great experience to have if you are not from around the area. Great manager and friendly staffs. Last time I was there was on Sunday night. They had a local guitarist playing for the customers. This is a gourmet restaurant, the price is slightly higher than a regular restaurant, but the food tastes authentic. I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, the sauce had a rich creamy flavor. I would like it a little thicker, but it tasted great regardless. We also ordered the Thai chicken Salad with sauce on the side. They tend to go heavy on the sauce, so if you prefer light on the dressing, just get it on the side. The pepperoni pizza was on a thin crust and the marinara sauce on the pizza eass very flavorful as well. Overall, the friendly staff, the service, the cleanliness, and the cozy atmosphere earned this restaurant a 5 stars. I highly recommend this place if you feel like gourmet Italian.

Delicious Italian food. I wandered in with my husband on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of baking pizza. The restaurant was almost full, it was almost 7:00 pm. It was our first time here and everything was amazingly delicious. Our server was really friendly and courteous. I loved the salmon and mashed potatoes plate Prices are fair $$ We will definitely comeback soon with the rest of our family.

This place has really gone downhill with their customer service. They have very young people working as host and these people have no manners. They had several people waiting outside in the cold while there were a bunch of dogs inside. I just felt like these people care more about accommodating animals inside than customers. Also, they weren't service animals.

We had wood fire pizzas. Very good, flat crust and great cheese ratio. Waitress was very respectful about distancing, but yet very attentive. Order came out quick despite a sign warning that they are understaffed.-no menu changes, but that's ok. I love the selections listed- large pasta meals, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. Good bread sticks.

The food and service are excellent. This restaurant is a hidden gem!

My hunny brought me here on a day date. The attention/ service that was provided to us was awesome. The food was delicious and the portions are just perfect. We will be back again.

Marta is the saving grace. Very nice, attentive, and understanding. This place is filthy. Booths have dust that has clearly been there for at least 6 months, walls next to where you're eating have disgusting black marks where the table meets the wall, but the tables can be pulled out and the wall cleaned. There was old sauce and other gunk splattered across the wall at our booth . The bathroom! Had I used the bathroom before ordering we would have never eaten there. It was disgusting and the soap dispenser pump was so gross I had to use a paper towel just to feel comfortable touching it. The kegs were off. Beer tasted off and you could tell it was super foamy because the napkin our cups came on were soaked as if they had to keep pouring until the foam cleared. The homemade pasta- I know bertolli angel hair when I eat it. That angel hair pasta is NOT homemade unless they are referring to boiling it. The breadsticks tasted like Pillsbury garlic sticks you buy in the tube and bake. Not great and they came with COLD, like refrigerator cold, not room temp sauce. Don't order a carafe of iced tea because I saw the same one sitting uncovered for over an hour AND IT AINT CHEAP- almost 20 a plate! If you want worse quality food WITH higher prices than Olive Garden then this is your place!

Not at all satisfied with the level of replacing a meal and dry hard breadsticks on a to go order I have to bring the unfinished meal back and that's all they will replace but no compensation of any other kind and I'm not anywhere near their restraunt it was a to go order and the way gas prices are? And to not be compensated any other way? Just replacing the meal? Not even a complimentary something anything for the next visit? Nada! Nothing! I spent 42.42

Had lunch with a friend. We ordered from the lunch specials. I had the Cajun pasta. It was delicious!

I purchased two pasta dishes, a salad, and an appetizer but was very disappointed with pasta portions! Usually when you dine in, portions are generous but in this case they were small but price was still the same. The spaghetti w/meatballs had 3 meatballs pretty small in size. I'm just disappointed that D'lish is one of the many businesses now price gouging customers... Won't be spending hard earned money there anytime soon.

I was hoping for an amazing pizza, as my husband really talked it up based on memories from high school. I ordered 1 large everything and 1 large pepperoni pizza. Needless to say, I wasted $61 and ended up throwing both out and went down to the corner pizza place to get another pizza I know is amazing. D'Lish pizza actually reminded me of Digiorno pizza. I'm not sure about the other food, not sure I will go back to try.

Great and clean place, staff is great and everyone is polite. Food was great too, I had the lasagna plate and it was delicious. I'm only putting 4 starts because I felt my lasagna too dry after eating half of it, maybe it needed more sauce or maybe that was just me. I'd definitely come back!

Take out is the best option because the food is good. The Mediterranean salad is very good, love all the toppings and dressing, all the pastas are also good. The bread is yummy yummy. The service is terrible. The waitress that takes the tables close to entrance has a horrible attitude. This is why I prefer takeout.

Excellent service! Food was great. What I love the most though is the fact that their pasta is made fresh. Wish they had a bar for cocktail drinks though. Will definitely keep coming back.

Staff was awesome, service fantastic. The food was good, but priced a bit higher than expected. It was like 5 star prices, but 4 star food. Still, overall a good place to go for a meal.
