First time ordering based on a referral. Notice the order time...the pizza was ready until 6:45 and arrive at 7:15. Ordered the Veg Out pizza and it arrived burnt, dehydrated cheese/veggies and cold. Horrible quality! Stay away. Two thumbs down!

I’ve been to blaze Pizza so many times, and the food itself is delicious. This certain time I went all of their tables were clean. None of the tables are dirty in the attendant to all of the people who are ordering. I still patient, and it was kind of packed. But I was still able to have a good experience. It was raining outside, so I didn’t sit outside. A seat opened up, and my order was ready. The food was amazing, and you should try the blood orange lemonade, I always have a good experience at blaze. And LeBron James is a genius for investing in this company. If you want good pizza, come to blaze Pizza

This place was really neat. I loved the individualized pizzas. The menu items were interesting. I picked the veggie pizza and it was fantastic. The atmosphere is casual, loud and busy. Seating may be limited during busy hours. The staff were polite, friendly and hard working. They seem to have a great team dynamic which adds to the atmosphere. Probably will visit again!

Blaze Pizza in Otay Ranch area has a great location in that it is close to tons of shopping and other areas of interest. Very easy to stop in for a bite to eat. The restaurant has a good setup for customers to customize their own pizza with the various toppings available or order from their menu. The pizza was good and we really enjoyed the various lemonades and non-carbonated drinks they had available. Blaze Pizza would have been a solid five stars in my opinion, however in the 30 minutes we were there none of the staff stepped away from behind the counter to clean the seating area. There were only 4 or 5 places to sit at lunchtime that were not either dirty or previous customers had left food and/or trash on the tables. Overall, fair experience, but the restaurant management needs to get a handle on the cleanliness of the restaurant.

Let me start off by saying my sister is a manager at a Blaze Pizza in the LA area so it goes without saying my initial 5 star review of this local Blaze Pizza was kinda biased. But honestly, the pizza is really good here, so I can't knock that either way. HOWEVER, if anyone is to give an honest review, they have to include rating not only the food at the establishment, but the customer service experience as well. Firstly I want to state that I have been supporting this particular Blaze location at Otay Ranch Mall since day 1 when they opened. I went to the grand opening and frequent the establishment at least 2-3 times a month since. No joke, my kids and I love their pizza. But unfortunately, because of my experience on Pi day 3/14 I have to give them a 1 star review. It was by far THE WORST customer service experience I've ever had at a food establishment. And I've given reviews of a lot of places in the San Diego area. So I went to this Blaze location this recent Pi day 3/14 in the early afternoon and saw that there was a long line out the door, which was expected because the pizzas were $3.14. I decided to come back later that evening and showed up at 7p. Line was still long at that time, but I wanted to take advantage of the deal. While I was waiting for just about an hour, I received a call to attend to a family emergency and by the time I came back it was around 815p. Again the line was long, but my kids wanted pizza so I stood in line. About 10 minutes to 9p, some Blaze workers came out and told us if we were still in line and didn't make it inside, they would have to refuse us service and not honor the $3.14 pizza deal. I was practically in line for almost 2 hours and so I asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to Isaiah, who was really nice, and explained my situation to him. I explained I was a loyal customer and that I was in line for a total of almost 2 hours, had to temporarily leave for a family emergency and come back, but he unfortunately wouldn't honor the deal for me. But the thing that really ticked me off was the fact that one of the workers was blantanly disrespectful and said "well if you were a loyal customer, you would know to come to the store before 9pm when they close." I had no idea why that person said that even though I came hours before they closed! I also asked Isaiah for his manager's number and tried calling him to explain my situation but that manager never returned any of my messages. As a result, I will never go to this Blaze location again and it's unfortunate because my family loves their pizza and I love to support local establishments.

Couldn't order online since won't take payment method info, Once in the store at Otay Ranch I was the first one to order 4 pizzas and 4 other people that came after me got their pizzas first, when I ask the guy about it he said: Oh I did that so I didn't get confused and wanted to make sure your orders were right. I have no idea what was he talking about and at the end he made one out of the 4 first and the other 3 came 10 minutes later. anyway we won't be back 😠

Delicious pizza 🍕 This place is always clean, well stocked and has the hardest working staff. Shot out to Jasmine and the Saturday night staff! They are the fastest, most reliable pizza makers in the building! They ALWAYS manage to be cheerful despite the line of starving patrons. TIP THESE KIDS, they are great.

I just moved to Chula Vista from Hawaii and this is definitely the best pizza I have had in years. It’s freshly made and it’s so delicious and try to go as often as I can. Definitely 10/10

My family and I went for the first time to this food establishment because we were looking for a good pizza place to eat and because of its images in the internet so we decided to go to see this Blaze pizza place at otay ranch mall. They did not have plates to eat in the place, we told the person who served us and she said that the dishes were dirty. We told the staff that the AC was high and very cold, and asked if they could turn down the air conditioning and they told us yes, but never lowered the AC or turned it off. It was uncomfortable. The trash can was so full that nothing else could fit. The pepperoni and margarina pizza that we ordered was greasy and average. They had around 7 kids there and only 2 were actually working. They need better management. We left the place very disappointed.

Make sure you bring a coat, look at the video at the end, you can’t enjoy the pizza with the AC BLASTING FULL SPEED IN YOUR FACE, make sure you order to go cuz you won’t be able to eat it there, they had this problem forever and it seems like they don’t have intentions to fix it , there was a lady with kids and kept moving them around and they finally ended living, IS THAT BAD, the pizza is ok but panera serves good pizzas across the street and there AC works normal, you can see the BLASTING AIR ON NAPKING UNTIL IT FLIES OF THE TABLE AT THE END OF VIDEO, Pay attention to this lady’s hair moving and shacking as she’s ordering, sending this video to the BBB

We've only been here a couple times but every time we come we get the best customer service ever. The young man making the pizzas is very thorough with the way he explains the menu & options. He is friendly & professional. We love being able to make the pizzas exactly how we want them. They come out perfectly baked every time. My kids & I love coming here & we will continue to come.

Tasty pizzas! They make it right in front of you and you can customize everything including base, sauce and toppings. The service is great!

Their pizzas are delicious. I usually order ahead by online and go pick it up at their convenient Pick-Up Station. They are pretty fast and efficient at making their pizzas to fulfill a lot of orders. Remember to say please and thank you, they work really hard to provide us excellent service!

Ordered the thicker crust pizza for extra 3 bucks and ended up being super under cooked. Was really hungry and ate a little under half of it before I realized how under cooked it was. Spent all night puking up the pizza. Reason I’m giving 4 stars is because workers were super friendly and made me a new pizza when I told them about it. These employees MUST BE TRAINED BETTER!! They should know when a pizza is THAT under cooked. Falling behind on sleep because of how much I’m puking.

Love that you get to personalize your own pizza. High rise dough is my favorite definitely recommend. Pesto cheese bread is delicious.

Usually this spot is great with the service & product. This morning, I had a terrible experience here. The preparer of my pizzas was extremely challenging to understand because of his poor enunciation. Then the dough was misshapen & he barely put any cheese. My wife said hers is the worst & my youngest daughter said it tastes like cardboard. The quality of this location has plummeted & we'll be getting our pizza elsewhere, fo this moment forward. Great price for healthy pizzas. My favorites were keto and cauliflower breads with tons of veggies toppings.

Blaze Pizza was referred to me by a friend of mine. I visited the Otay Ranch location and was very pleased with the service and pizza. Erica was very friendly and even made suggestions for my pizza and dessert. I will definitely refer my friends as well!

I usually don’t post reviews, but today I had to. I just wanted to congratulate the team at this location. I witnessed an incident with another customer and the team handled it really well despite the rude attitude from the customer. Not going into details, I don’t consider this necessary. But let’s remember to be nice to all restaurant employees. Keep up the great customer service blaze pizza y’all doing a fine job.
