I made a reservation for 20 people a few days in advance. I asked for tables to be put together so everyone is together and nearby/ obvious family setting. They set it up nicely. They got everyone's order correct. No mistakes. The food was delicious. There's a nice selection also. Not just fish and chips.. steak to wings to quesadillas.. french fries to brussel sprouts. All yum. The drinks were great. Not light on the liquor. All accommodations due to food allergies were made. No one had a food related reaction. The atmosphere is laid back but nice. Fireplace in the back. There is also a live band from 5 -9pm on specific days including Sunday. Those details are found on their website.

This is a great location for a seafood restaurant. Every outside table has a view of the Marina. We got the Fish and Chips. The coleslaw was a bit heavy on the mayonnaise, but was still good. The crispy fries exceeded our expectations, and were very good. The fish was fresh, light, and fluffy, and perfectly coated in a light tempura batter. Excellent! It's the best we've ever had. The only negative of the dining experience was the 4% surcharge on the bill. Minus one star. It would be better and more transparent to just increase your prices by 4% and not add it on to the end like a resort fee on a hotel.

A community favorite. Great food, portions are huge, service is super friendly and quick. Live music and very festive ambiance.

Was always curious about what this place offered and got a chance to step into it today. Although we got the food to go we ordered the chicken and waffles with strawberries and fish tenders with fries. Ate it at the nearby park on a Saturday morning. Not so bad! I'd come back again.

The staff was on top of it despite the crowd that showed up for the live music. We did not have to wait long to get served. I enjoyed the mussels & clams the most. The calamari was served in thick french sized pieces and not as flavorful as I would have liked. The strawberry mojito was delicious but lacking much alcohol. The patio was nice and heated and right by the marina. Romantic if you want to take a date. We ended up moving by the band so we could dance and our waitress was very accommodating, especially since it was our 3rd table! Nice place to spend a Friday night.

This is a great little place. As we walked up, we could smell greatness cooking in the grill. The food is really good and reasonably priced. This place is so laid back and the water view is incredible. Today was a a good day to be here.

Me and my honey ate here today for our 3rd yr anniversary. It was really nice atmosphere. They had heaters. Service from Kassandra was amazing! She complimented my new kicks! She provided high quality service and the meal was amazing! - portion size was big! A good thing me and my man were sharing cus my tummy couldn't handle anymore! 😆💛🍰Keep up good work!

Being a Chula Vista native, I used to frequent The Galley quite often but it’s been about 8 years since my last visit. The circulating Instagram reel of their fish & chips “reeled” us back in. Let me preface that we waited several minutes at the hostess stand to be seated and another lengthy time waiting for our server to arrive with water and ask for drinks. It was about 5:30 PM on a Friday, so slightly busy but not full swing yet. My husband and I both wanted the fish and chips but we didn’t want to order the same entrée, so I ordered the BLTA and he got the fish and chips. My son ordered the prime rib melt sandwich. The pirate punch cocktail was reasonably priced at $12 and was very good. A runner delivered the sandwich entrées. Twelve minutes later and my husband still has not received his fish and chips. Our server came by to check on us and was surprised he hadn’t received his meal. She presented with it a few minutes later. Sadly, the fish and chips was nearly cold and limp by that point. It was probably ready at the same time as ours, but clearly overlooked. Our sandwiches were mediocre; nothing stellar, but edible. I could tell the fish and chips has potential if served in a timely manner, so I do want to return to experience it hot and crispy. I am willing to adjust the stars in my review if I’m pleased with our next visit. I do want to mention our server was pleasant and doing her best considering the rush.

I’ve eaten here three times now, this time with a group of friends. The view of the marina is absolutely gorgeous. We all ordered the same thing, all you can eat fish and chips. Drinks all around were perfect. My portion was so large I could barely finish it. Very pleasant attentive waiter. We’ll definitely be here again soon.

So much fun with the live music and beautiful views of sailboats to enjoy! A great variety of locals and travelers (boaters), as well as those who walk their dogs along the bay. The food was fresh and hot! We had blackened Mahi tacos, loaded potato skins, fried zucchini, and fish & chips! Parking lot is big, or choose to park in the park and walk over and then you may enjoy some of the art sculptures along the bay.

The hostess was slow in seating my friend and i, as well as the couple that arrived before us, but other than that our server was very attentive and the breakfast was so darn good. I loved the view of the marina. I will definitely come back for their ALL YOU CAN EAT FISH AND CHIPS!!!!

The location and view are fabulous. It’s too bad a new owner has turned it into a loud, generic bar. No personality. Food sucks, beer list unremarkable. Lots of kombucha and watered down beer. It’s too bad because the servers are great. We won’t be back.

Came to eat fish and chips on my lunch today! Hear they have a all you can eat fish and chips on Thursday’s. Unfortunately the bartender says it doesn’t start until 3pm. The food is great the staff is kind of scattered and all over the place and it take a long time to get the food aside from all that I will definitely come back in the future.

Great location overlooking the harbour. Slightly dated appearance but quaint and welcoming. Large outdoor deck/patio for dining. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable range of plates on offer. Good wine 🥂

The musician was great, perfect music for sunset and dining. Food was delicious and a LOT of it. Tasted great for dinner the next night!

Very interesting atmosphere, fits with being right at the marina. The food was very good. My lady had the coconut shrimp (5 very large shrimp. I had the chicken picatta. Both were excellent. The service was great. We liked the deck seating (enclosed) with large windows allowing a great view of the marina. We will definitely be back.

When I first arrived I was not sure if the environment was going to be welcoming and accepting to non regulars. Boy was I wrong!! I must say the hostess was very welcoming and seated us in a timely manner. The ocean view was calming and relaxing. The food was delicious I had fish tacos and my husband and our friends had fish and chips and they also spoke highly of there meal. The prices were affordable and portion size was great. We all really enjoyed the environment and the food. I highly recommend to friends and family. They restaurant won't disappoint!

Terrible customer service. we were greeted by the hostess and when we ask what was the beer variety. she replied by saying “I don’t know, that’s not my area your waitress will be here in a minute” in a very rude tone. the waitress took our order and 15 mean minutes later a party of three came in and we end up getting our food 15 minutes later after that other group was served.

I love this place. I had lunch yesterday here and it was a beautiful day. The atmosphere was calm, very relaxed. Patio dining next to the marina. Cool breeze and quiet, pleasant music playing in the background. We parked feet away from the entrance and we're greeted promptly and seated immediately after. The hostess was sweet and friendly. The waitress was Nancy. She was handling many tables but was an impressive server. We both ordered fish and chips and we both LOVED our food!! Battered and deep fried crispy cod served with Delicious french fries, homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce. The food was hot and so tasty. Great place. Good service. Lovely afternoon. 💜💜💜

I went to this restaurant with my family, we all got the fish & chips all you can eat. Absolutely amazing. You can't go wrong with the fish & chips.

Stand Up Guys were great. I had barramundi. It was delicious. I had a sangria very well made. All the food was great. The service was great and the band was great. I'll go back again

First visit here, the band was fantastic, food was ok, drinks better... haha... loved the area close to the Marina and park.

All you can eat fish and chips special on Thursdays is $15. Not the greatest food. Gave them a 3 for the sunset and harbor ambiance

Me my wife, my sister and my dad ate here tonight. My cheese burger, fries and beer was great. My dad had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. He loved it! It was a lot of food and the plate was 17.00! My sister had the chicken Alfredo and she like it. We listened to a live band and really enjoyed ourselves. The waitress was nice and well built! I recommend this place!
