First time I have been to this tasting room and it’s worth checking out. They have great brews to select from and they also have indoor and outdoor seating. Good tunes playing and nice to grab a drink at before other you guys places nearby to eat.

I never knows what I love more, the decor or the ambiance! Great place to unwind and have a beer.

Beer was pretty delicious. I got the zipline beer. The place was pretty dead when we were there but started to pick up as we were leaving. The bartender was on her phone the few times I saw her but poured the beer all the same.

Modern Times is the best west coast beer. That's all this review needs to say, but there are other things it could say. The stouts are the real stand out. They're among the best stouts I've had across the country! The bottles and cans you can buy in the Flavordome are expensive but worth the price. You're drinking an experience in every pour.

One of my favorite places to sip some beer! They have an amazing assortment of beers, and are always willing to share some of their recommendations. Their fruit seltzers taste like smoothies and are also incredible. Centrally located in North Park, always friendly. I would bring some Taco Stand from across the street, order some beers and have a nice night!

Great place for some coffee or.... even better a beer! Locally made and top quality. The staff were great at explaining the menu and took plenty of time chatting with my group. This is definitely a fun place to hangout and enjoy a drink or 3.

High quality selection, and they offer small pours. The one thing I'd prefer is if they listed the menu on Untappd, so that makes this 4.5 stars from me, rounded up to 5.

Fun place, eclectic decor, inspired beer selection, friendly staff = good times! Seriously though, their special release Coconut Tiramisu Barrel-aged Stout was super delish🍻

Great service and even better atmosphere! They have an assortment of great beers some of which are sours. If you’re looking for sour beer, regular beer, or a good time - definitely check this place out. Plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor if you’re comfortable doing that with COVID. You can go to any of the restaurants in the area grab some food to go to eat at the brewery. Prices are reasonable and you can get either an 16oz 8oz or 4oz pours.

Extremely underwhelming, especially given how great the downtown LA location is. Small patio, awkward inside. If you know you like their beers, that’s great. But don’t expect anything too outstanding compared to all the other tasting rooms in the neighborhood.

My family and I had an early New Year's Eve get together at Modern Times. We were allowed to bring in food from a neighboring restaurant to enjoy with our beers. I would like to thank Carmon and Alfredo for the great service.

Relaxed atmosphere and solid beer. Alfred was pouring when I visited; he's friendly and extremely helpful, chatting about the recent releases and checking to see if the Fermentorium had some kegs that Flavordome ran out of. The employees always make MT a chill experience.

Shaun/Shawn/Sean....however you spell it, this dude is amazing. We know Modern Times is some killer OG beer, but when you have an ambassador like Shaun/Shawn/Sean...it makes the experience even better!

Great spot for some craft brews in North Park. I love the decor and the staff are super friendly & knowledgeable on their beers (special shout out to Alex, Tron, Miranda.) I’d recommend the Trend Laser, Orderville, and Brain Vacation. And if you’re into stouts, apparently they have some of the best in SD!

It took me about three seconds in here to give it five stars. Favorite beers: Hazy (d)IPAs. They have many. Favorite music: Drum n Bass. Playing. Favorite downtime hobby: pinball. They've got a machine. LETS GO
