Where do I start! We’re in town for the USA facility for our daughter. We were looking to eat on the beach somewhere and Sea180 popped up so we tried it. This place by far is a must try if you’re visiting out of town or local. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We had Bethany as our waitress the 1st night and she was by far the best server we’ve had in years. The food was amazing. NY strip and scallops were a hit with our party. Bethany suggested multiple cocktail selections which paired perfectly. We were so impressed with Sea180 we booked another night for valentines as well while here. The sunset at 5:30 is unbelievable as well as the many table top fire boxes and stand up heaters to keep the ocean breeze cozy. Try this place and ask for Bethany! You will thank me later, I promise!

We got reservations for 10. The server did a good job. The staff was friendly. The menu was pretty diverse and everyone was happy with their food. We got calamari for an appetizer and the short ribs and the crab rigatoni for main dish. All dishes were delicious. The only gripe for the group was the time to get a drink. After ordering a drink, it took at least 15 minutes to get the drink, sometimes 20 minutes. It wasn't that big of a deal, but just seemed odd that it would take that long.

Decent food, the dishes didn't have the best balance and combination of flavors. Highly recommend to make a reservation ahead of time, and choose the outside seating next to the beach. It's a really pretty view eating next to the beach and ocean with a light breeze. Parking around here is also very tricky, there's pretty much only street parking. Food is definitely on the expensive side. Pasta dishes are $25-30, and the meat related ones are more. The cocktails are okay, not the best I've tried. They're around the usual price, $10-20 range. I enjoyed the environment and the service. Just the food was meh, 3/5.

Food could have been a lot better, Is lots of room for improvement. Service was fair they added five percent surcharge. Best was the view; great to dine with ocean views.

Very nice restaurant by the ocean. Great views of the Pacific at the Imperial Beach. Very close to the Pier. The door and the vibe was fantastic. It was cheerful and lively. You can have indoor or outdoor seating. Because of the location, it does get busy. Food was very good. Tried the octopus on the menu, super tender and nicely flavoured. An excellent option on the menu. Also tried the crispy brussels sprouts, it was very good. For main course, we tried the braised short rib and salmon - which were very delish. Bet ween the two, I think the short rib was awesome. They do have a dessert menu but it is short but sweet ;-)

Amazing views of the Ocean 🌊 very nice atmosphere and the food was excellent!! We sat on the outdoor patio which was amazing! We had the New England clam chowder, double burger 🍔 and the salmon dish. Our server was decent but we had to ask for the happy hour menu after seeing another table get one and we did not and he was a bit slow on coming to take our order but overall a great experience and great food! Well worth the trip and definitely recommend!

Went here for Valentines and I'd got to say we had excellent service. The food was good and price exactly right. Its not at the level of some of the other Cohn restaurants like 333 Pacific or Island prime but was better than Corvette Diner to give you a measure. We sat outside where there was plenty of heating alongside the Ocean Breeze. I think we will revisit again during the day time to really take in the Beachside view they have. I'd definitely recommend visiting this underrated restaurant at least once. The small town area it is located is also nice to walk around.

We went there for brunch, but I believe after certain hours they stop serving breakfast. Their menu is rich and straightforward. The staff were very nice and fast on service. Their food potions are really good and perfect to share. The view to the beach is amazing, perfect for cooler days. They have umbrellas in case the sun bothers. Highly recommended for any type of outing.

My friend and I attended the Christmas Day Lunch, and it was delicious. There were a few hiccups with our meal, but the staff went way above and beyond to correct it. They were all so nice and friendly with very attentive service. Beautiful location right on the beach, but it is very much worth the drive south from anywhere in San Diego County. We will for sure be coming back.

Wonderful service. Bonnie was a sweetheart. Extremely kind and attentive. We ordered the Restaurant Week App, Upgraded Steak (addl. $10) and dessert. Well worth it. In support of the restaurant business we try and stay local. With inflation and fuel prices that seems to be the practical way to go nowadays. Food was tasty. The steak was a little tough. But all in all, the flavors were all put together elegantly. The start of the show was the Corn Cake. Apparently it's the head chef's mom's recipe. Blew us away. We used to live in I.B. and it has really flourished. Can't wait to go back and visit the nearby breweries before dinner next time.

The service was great and the ocean view during sunset was incredible. The sad part was the Puerto Nuevo Lobster was ok at best. It was over cooked. The meat was so dry and hard. Not worth the price.

Lunch was absolutely AMAZING!! I had the fish and chips. The Cod was soooo perfectly cooked. Father-in-law had the seafood platter and loved it. Service was awesome! The atmosphere was perfect, right on the beach front.

10 out of 10. This place was a hidden gem we just feel upon. Parked at the beach in IB and walked in looking for a good meal. This hit the spot and the views are tremendous, right on the sand next to the pier. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the staff was terrific. Clam chowder was perfect and the tequila twist on some traditional drinks make the cocktail menu unique and interesting. Go find this place for your next date night.

Located inside of the Pier South Hotel, the Sea180 has great views of the beach. You have the option of sitting outside on the patio to soak up the sun along with an adult beverage or inside in a serene dining room. The food is pricey, but the food is delicious. I have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every plate has been delicious. This is a great place for a casual brunch to a nice date night dinner.

A tear was shed. the view is gorgeous and so calming. my partner and I watched the waves as we waited for our food. we watched the sunset and the service was amazing. our waiter ivan was a joy. he’s so kind and had great energy. another woman checked in on us occasionally and she was nice as well. we came in on a tuesday and to our surprise they had a date night special. so we ordered off of that. I also ordered a clam chowder that was spectacular my bf took half and on the side and my bf ordered a yellowtail appetizer I didn’t care for that one too much. he thought the tamal might not be enough but it was a good size portion and it was delicious. we also ordered the brussel sprouts off the date night menu which were tasty. I ordered the pollo con crema and loved the crema it was all so tasty. we had a bottle of sparking along with our dinner and it was wonderful.

Been here a few time and never disappoints. Staff always have a great attitude. The food is always very tasty! 100% recommend the brusel sprouts, they were ssoooo good! The hamburger was also very good! Recommended adding shrimp to the cesar, another must have! Great beach view, extremely relaxing to listen to while having lunch! Will be back for that awesome happy hour menu!

Highly recommend to hit up happy hour where food and drinks are significantly cheaper, but just as good quality. If you can get a table overlooking the beach, it’s the best views!! Pretty decent food, but very salty. Clam chowder had only a few pieces of clam in it.

In addition to having a gorgeous view of the ocean, they havee tasty, elevated Mexican food and great service. We had aguachile, shrimp enchiladas, carnitas, and an amazing buñuelo creme brulee. Great spot to have drinks or enjoy a meal.

Made reservations for San Diego restaurant week. Seated in primo spot overlooking the beach. Waiter was friendly. Food delivery was on point. Food was delicious. Street parking only.

Cons: I could not eat all of my prime rib since 70% was inedible. Every bite I took was filled with fat and I had to spit it out. Horrific piece of meat. I felt like a lion feasting on a freshly killed zebra. Not classy. Pros: The sunset was beautiful. The sides (potatoes/Brussels) were amazing and the service was first-class. Shout out to Hailey and the management team. Good vibes at this place! I will def return but will never order the “prime-rib”.

We met our friends who live in Imperial Beach for cocktails and they suggested this place. It was in a hotel and it’s great that they had outdoor oceanview area. We lucked out that we made it in time for happy hour which ends at 5 pm. My strawberry martini was delicious. Our server was very nice and was able to give my husband & I happy hour prices when we ordered our seconds a little past 5 pm. We’ll definitely come back again for lunch or dinner.

My wife and I were in the Imperial Beach area enjoying a nice day out when we decided to find something good to eat. We walked by SEA 180 and decided to give it a try. We got a table outside and ordered fish and chips for me and smoked salmon toast for my wife, a couple of drinks and finally arroz con leche for dessert. We liked their outdoor patio with an ocean view. The food was delicious and more so the fish and chips, nice and crispy as I like it. Service was great as expected while prices were higher than expected but the way things are right now with high prices on everything we understand. We will be back when in the area

This place is a gem of a restaurant at Imperial Beach San Diego. The grilled octopus was our favorite appetizer, and the creme brulee for dessert was fantastic! The atmosphere is great too. It's right on the beach. A perfect combination of relaxation and excellent food. I highly recommend this place. Only 4 stars because the seaviche was not to my taste (still good though)

Wonderful views with great food! The menu is a little limited in selections (though there are plenty of drinks), and parking can be an issue (though don't forget the discounted valet!), but the food they serve is excellent, especially if you're into a spicier kind of American Fusion.

Mid-to-upscale dining. The location and atmosphere was excellent. We ate on the patio just after sunset, which was very pretty. The plating was well done, and it's obvious that a good bit of attention is given to presentation. My wife ordered the fish and chips, and I ordered the clam chowder. Here's where they missed the mark. The quality and portion serving is just "acceptable". The cost of the food seems to go towards the atmosphere and presentation, rather than to the food. My preference would be to reverse that operational choice. I will eat at a hole in the wall, and pay a premium for exceptional food.

Disappointing :c Promised my daughter to have dinner with nice sunset, reserved with 1 week anticipation and added in the notes the request for a table with sunset view; at the arrival the first thing the hostess said was “there are no tables available until 8pm outside there” (clearly 6+ tables open) while seated in a random table more guests where arriving and they would just choose outside table and they were allowed. Food was just ok, the only guy who saved the day was our waiter. But seriously won’t return, for the amount of money spent I don’t think is fair or worth.

A great first meal for our vacation. Everything was amazing - cheeseburger, fries, chicken strips, margaritas, the outdoor seating, my wife loved the scallops, etc. Probably the highlight was the bacon wrapped firecracker prawns. Very friendly and attentive staff.

I'm going to keep this short. Food was great. Service was beyond excellent. View was breath taking. Just go. Order the prime rib grilled cheese or the cod, or the clam chowder. Ask for Carley as your server.
