COOL SPOT. Take what you like about a bar and an arcade- now combine them and subtract some of the annoying things. This place is so much fun and has such a chill vibe. Grab some great local brews or cocktails. Then go play many of the arcade games you grew up loving. Great alt music going in the background. There is an ATM and quarter machine on premise.

Cute little place, perfect for a date night out if your into arcades like I am! They had all the essential games; pac man, mortal combat, street fighter, b ball hoops, and great pin ball games amongst others. The only thing was they stopped serving food earlier than what it said on Google because it was a quiet night :( Otherwise the drinks were great, bartenders had great energy and the vibe was perfect!

Our experience with Connor was INCREDIBLE. I wish I could rate 1,000 stars! It was our first night on the west coast for the first time! The atmosphere, the service, and even the patrons here were so amazing. If I’m ever on the west coast I will most certainly visit again! Drinks were very well crafted and tasted amazing, food was quick and delicious! Thank you Connor for a start to our adventure that we will never forget!

Nothing better than going back in time when all the worry was gone and you had no responsibilities. A time where you were a kid and only had 10 quarters to your name and you conquered that arcade. Cheers Oh and try the fried Oreos… and bring a glass of milk

As far as COVID safety goes, no one wears a mask but it's well ventilated enough that doesn't matter unless it's crowded. Drinks are decently priced for the area, good bar food. Awesome selection of games. Overall, way better than the Gaslamp location when it's not overcrowded. Really nice, almost secret, outdoor seating with a few good arcade games in back (past the bathrooms).

The bouncer repeated “not tonight” and would not explain why our group could not come into the bar after he let in multiple other groups before us. My boyfriend and I were sober but because it was for a birthday we couldn’t come in? I used to love this place but that was a terrible experience. Update: This happened on Friday July 29th at around 9-10 pm. We had done a brew bike tour in North Park that consisted of stopping at 619 Spirits and Coin-Op game room. Since the bouncer saw the bike, he refused to let us in without assessing our risk level. This is a bar, where other folks that have been drinking go to have fun. We were by no means a rowdy group and I asked the bouncer what his reasoning was for not letting us into the establishment after watching several other large groups go in ahead of us. All he would say is "Not tonight". I would have appreciated good customer service in this scenario even if it was "I'm sorry, but my management has asked us to not let anyone on a brew bike tour in regardless of how much they've drank since it could be a risk."

It's always a fun time, but be careful because some of the games cost more than you think. This location is pretty small compared to the Temecula location. I do like the back patio here, though.

Bartenders are super talented and fun and the overall environment is great. There's a great selection of games. Also the tater tots. Everything about this place has been fun everytime we've gone!

Fun little bar with a decent selection of arcade games. If you compare this to the one downtown you'll be disappointed, but if you're looking for a more chill bar with a still solid selection of classic arcade games then you'll be pleased. Great selection of drinks and craft beer, good food too.

I hadn't been here for a few years. My friend wanted me to try this drink there. The security was fine, but the bartender, Jason, was rude af for no reason. We quickly ordered two of the same drinks and the bartender acted like it was the worst thing in his life to have our order. We still tipped well, maybe he was having a bad night, but we felt like we paid him to be rude to us. I will never be back, absolutely not worth it.

The coin-op location in North Park is pretty awesome if you like barcades. Overall the drinks are decently priced at about $10 a drink for a basic local beer, leaning towards $15 or more for a specialty cocktail. The Kirbys Dream Land shot with 3 different kinds of Vodka was pretty good althought sweet. The food is good, its not fine dining by any means but compliments the beers and atmosphere. As far as the games go, they have a collection of pin ball games, old school arcade games and even a claw machine. The bar does have a coin machines because all the games have to be paid with quarters. This location also has both a back patio area with games and a front street side patio for outdoor socializing. Overall I love coming to this location. If interested there also a larger coin-op located down town San Diego that is pretty awesome too. Both locations are street parking only.

3.5 stars. I live in the building and want this place to do well. I'm sorry that the pizzas are awful though. Fried cheese curds were tasty though, if not a little too rich (yes I know they are cheese curds). Great looking space.

Went on a Monday night with a couple of buds. At times it was packed, and at others not so much. I think we were there for a good hour or so. Much smaller than the Gaslamp location, but it is in North Park. Few pinball machines in the back. Got your Street Fighter and MK2. If only they had Tekken! My favorite game was the beer pong one. Bar service was great, there was a dude with a Padres cap and a lady with glasses. The bouncer (middle age black dude?) out that night was very friendly and always gave us heads up on the arcade machines we were going to play. He was kind of like our lil hype man for the night! Some of the machines only had one slot available because the other was taped down, so we couldn't play co-op unfortunately. (ex: the Time Crisis arcade cabinet) ☹️

I had 2 beers and got cut off for no reason. Bros & hos spoil the awesome gaming vibe. Games are rented from another company. This place sucks if you are there Thurs - Sat nights. Weeknights and afternoons are okay.

We went on a Friday night, it was pretty packed. I love the coin op down town, but had never been to this location before. We came with a pretty large group. A bartender, Jason, served one of the members in my party a drink, charged him, then told us we needed to take him out because he was stumbling ( he never left where he was standing at the bar) we weren’t given time to find the rest of our party, so we brought my friend outside and on our way back inside to find the rest of our group the bouncer told us that Jason told him not to let ANOTHER, DIFFERENT person from our party back in (he was just waiting outside for us to all come together). I dont know if they were trying to clear the place out or what, but the whole experience was super weird and confrontational for no reason.

This place is definitely worth checking out. It's pretty small and gets very busy. Sometimes there is a wait to get in. They do check ID when you go in. They have tons of reasonably priced cocktails and snacky food. Lots of old school arcade games, so bring coins and cash. It's very loud in here and you will bump into people. This isn't the place to have conversations because the music is so loud. We didn't stay too long here but great place to stop by if you're in North Park.

Went during free play Sunday. Definitely fun to play some competitive games with friends, but started to get a bit crowded, so most games were taken up over time. However, you never needed to wait long for someone to rotate out to get your chance. Only downside was that one of the games that was outside crashed during play.

Lots of fun but more importantly a great experience as a customer. From the guy at the door that was willing to watch my bag, we had been brewery hoping all day and had a bag full of beer, to the two bartenders that never let out drinks stay empty long. Special shout out to Connor who saved us from losing my girlfriends wallet when she left it at game. This place is definitely worth the stop
