Ordered carne asada fries and some a surf and turf which was also gross and got some soggy fries that are not seasoned with white cheese. After I worked a long day and trusted them to make them the way they are supposed to be made , I come all the way home to some soggy disgusting fries , I will never return to this place again and wouldn’t recommend wasting your money there , check your food before leaving they will try to be sneaky with poor quality food

I ordered a Chorizo burrito and got a potato burrito with egg. If they did not have the ingredients they should inform the customers. That is not right. 👎

DO NOT EAT HERE ! Just hours after eating here I started feeling very sick ! I thought something was up when they served me almost raw potatoes in my burrito and the carne asada was almost barely cooked. So disgusting 🤮

I was at Chula Vista Center last week, and when I left there, I walked across the street to Poncho's Mexican Grill. It was my 1st time going there. I was pleased. Very clean establishment, wide menu selection, outside dining area, awesome salsa bar, good customer service, and their Carne Asada Fries are some of the best I've ever tasted! Seasoned to perfection & filling. Check them out.

I normally come here for the Cali Surf Burrito and the surf and turf fries. Both are bomb. Both are my favorite. Today I tried the chapo fries with fine chopped adobada and moving forward it will be my back up when I need to switch it up.

Taste is fine. I like it because it’s not salty. The problem was I ordered to go and I was rushing to go home. I found out there is no chili sauce or any kind sauce. This is the first time I ordered food in a mexican restaurant that has no sauce! Do I need to ask first??? Quantity is fine though.

Their food is delicious. But unfortunately 9/10 times I’ve ordered food from them it’s either missing items, or the food does not match the description. Rolled tacos say guacamole and cheese. Lettuce optional. They always arrive with no guacamole, they have salsa Fresca (not on their description) and lettuce even when you don’t select add lettuce. In this particular occasion, which is why I’m making the review, both orders of rolled tacos came different from what we ordered and a carne asada quesadilla was missing. Also they’re really stingy on the salsa and have told Uber drivers that they’re not allowed to grab any extra. They sent 3 little containers of salsa for 5 rolled tacos (not as ordered) 5 rolled tacos (not as ordered) Quesadilla de carne asada (missing item) Taco de lengua Surf and turf fries. 3 little containers for all of those items

The worst customer service EVER and the food is just mediocre . I ordered food online for pickup and the cashier refused to give me my order even though I had the receipt and was charged through my bank. She claimed the order never came through in her system but I had proof on the app that they had already confirmed the order. I ended waiting more than 30 minutes and they did absolutely nothing. I called the restaurant multiple times after that becase it was the weekend and I couldn’t get ahold of the app until Monday. They kept telling me to call them on Monday morning when the owner was in and comes Monday morning and the owner/manager isn’t there either. I finally reached the app and they told me they contacted them to tell them I needed a refund, and that no one was there to approve my refund. These people are a bunch of thieves. They told me that I payed the app and thats why they couldn’t give me my food or my refund but the app told me that they never took any money and the restaurant was indeed payed. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE they will only STEAL from you.

The woman who takes my order is rude. Always, rude. No joke, she then turns to other customers that seem to be regulars, different demeanor. Not going back, my burrito was minced meat, not machaca. Disappointed.

We got a pickup order this morning and i was suprised and very happy to get the food warm, however they screwed up our food, messed up every single burrito with many different ingredientsno one wanted. They forgot two burritos and worst of all there are egg shells in my breakfast burrito and my friends breakfast burrito. If you cant handle cracking eggs just don't serve eggs and let another restaurant handle it.

I been a long-time customer of panchos mexican grill, but today was one of the worst experiences I've ever had, I won't be coming back the service has always been good. But my carne asada nachos were disgusting. I even returned the plate back. The portions even got smaller they are really going downhill. I hate to write a bad review. I felt like they could've offered a substitute or made things right.📉

The food was great, I got five rolled tacos. Which were good size and plenty of guac, cheese ant lettuce. And I got the Angus chipotle burrito which was a huge burrito. Will definitely be going back to try out a few more items.

Rolled tacos were nasty. The horchata was worse. I'm not going there again. $15. Dll down the drain. And not even get my order right. 😒

Had to go back to Los Panchos after many years away. Food was good as usual but many things have changed. No more jalapeños and the pickled veggies are not included. I paid $3 for a box but still no jalapeños which changed the overall experience for me.

If you're looking for a hearty meal this is the place to go, portions are quite satisfying. Family environment, parking is a bit limited. My average check was $16 including an alcoholic drink.

Tiny Mexican fast food place. No restroom for customers. You can eat there but they only a few tables. I think it's best to take your food home. The food is fantastic. So, I highly recommend trying this place. I had their chili reno and cheese enchilada.

The food is amazing! Gem of Chula Vista. Definitely my go place for burrito, tacos, fries and tortas. Quick friendly service. Never a disappointment.

Great tacos and burritos! The shrimp taco was delicious. My rolled tacos were meh. Super soggy. I would not order rolled tacos again but would return for tacos and burritos

The prices here are so much better than most taco shops. The parking is tight on Saturday and Sunday. The menu features quite a few items ,and the people are friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the food is very mediocre. Nothing is really good. Nothing bad. Just ok.

This my go-to taco shop. Other places can't get the burritos and asada fries right but this one does. Especially with their beers now available, it's a good spot to hang out. They evolved so much throughout the years while coming here!

Great place to get Mexican food when you are hungry. This place never disappoints. I will be coming back to this establishment. Thanks for the good food!

I love their Cabo quesadilla and my kids like the carne asada fries with extra cheese. I just tried their surf and turf tacos, the flavor is on point but if you're like me and don't like you tacos dry I'd suggest extra Chipotle sauce or guacamole on the side.

This place makes the biggest and best burritos I've ever had. Worth going to even if it's a small drive. The California quesadilla is great

We order carne asada fries and chilaquiles de moles, it took them 20 minutes to give us the food, with that time waiting, everyone would expect the food to be good and warm, but it was cold and to be honest, not so good. I was so disappointed cause it was my cheat meal and I didn’t even like it.

Speaking as a Delivery Driver and not as a customer here. I had 2 orders from them last night. First one was not ready and was waiting for 10 minutes to get it. Second order however, it took me 5 minutes to arrive at the location plus waiting additional 15 minutes for customers food, so 20 minutes total. I saw customers come in and get their food to eat inside before my customer got their food, which they have placed the order from way before them. I'll give them more chances as it was my first day yesterday picking up from them, hopefully next time they will be faster.

Huge menu of your favorite Mexican dishes. Chile Verge, Fajitas soups & burritos. 1st online order gets $5 off! Good stuff.
