Service was just ok. Chicken pho is ok Beef not so much very greasy. IF YOU WANT CLEAN MEAT IN YOUR PHO, I RECOMMEND O.B NOODLE HOUSE. Look at all the fat in my plate. Tables are not properly separated. They rather have you in small space so they don't have to walk and clean more.

Chicken on picture not cook well (raw)poor service, slow and never checked on table. Sorry it is the truth, I support local business but definitely neger come back here. Recommended: nop, not the best place to eat. NOTE: I had 2 stars but lowered to 1 because they not even bring the check to pay.

It's not the best in town but still very good. If I don't want to go far from my house and in the mood for Pho this is the place to go. The shrimp rolls are good with the Peanut sauce. Best is the egg rolls with the sweet chili sauce. There is a good selection of Pho to choose from.

Poor communication between employees? I ordered a boba tea and shrimp fried rice. I few people came in after me and they got their food & boba’s first! When my order was ready they told me they ran out of boba. And i ordered 20 min before the people that got theirs. 🥲. They put a disgusting amount of pepper on the fried rice. Not coming back. Also a weird smell was all over the place. The cashier provided a good costumer service. Voided the last transaction and charged me for the rice only.

2 years ago my review for this place where five stars. Now I can hardly even give you a one because of the service The food is good and it's always been okay but the service went from 5:00 to 1:00 you have a new stuff the newest one I met today was very arrogant younger boy fixing his hair drinking Starbucks and told me I cannot look at the TV because I was ordering to go The older guy over there it's good I mean he does his best your stuff is really need to be trained like the way used to be before they were going to check on your table serve you water all that stuff that we were used to and now it's gone.

Slow service, slow food, low quality meat inside pho (old, yellow fat on side of the meat in picture), bad quality noodles, but good decorations.

I was craving some vegetarian Pho and randomly picked Pho Ca Dao. Damn tasty pha. I had added some tofu. A regular bowl was enough to fill my belly. Service was good. They use this robot thing to deliver food. Just like in Japan. Interior was clean and maintained. I was a little cold but that's on me. Overall a good experience and will return.

Ok so the food is usually good... if they get your order right. We go here because it's the best pho place in the area. But compared to before covid.... the difference is night and day. Always check your food if ordering to go. Of the past 4 times we have ordered 3 of 4 there was something missing or incorrect. Be prepared to wait. Even if there is nobody in the restaurant it is rare that the order is ready when you go in. The yt waiter has been there awhile and he tries his hardest to make everybody happy but a lot of what happens as I've observed, is out of his control. There is a very obvious language barrier amongst certain restaurant staff vs wait staff, and the results are passed on to the customers. Compared to the other restaurants in the vicinity, Pho Ca Dao still has the best food. It's the rest of the restaurant experience that needs improvement. My advice, order to go.

I'm only giving this 1 star for the Ox Tail Pho. Other than that, the customer service here is terrible. We've been previous patrons and decided to give it another try because we wanted the ox tail pho. Service was lacking previously, but this time it needs to be addressed and fixed. Firstly the person at the front was rude. They ignored us, no waitlist or confirmation it would a moment to seat us. Multiple people kept ignoring and coming to the front desk running tickets, bussing tables back and forth, then after 8-10 minutes one person finally reluctantly asking if we wanted to sit. We said, well yes? Table for 3 please? She picked up the menus and walk us to a messy table but realized it wasn't clean. So she then resorted to putting us at an awkward table that blocked the kitchen doors and had a wall divider in between the seats. We politely asked to sit at the other table that needed cleaning, but her face cleared displayed she was annoyed, rolled her eyes, and told us, "you're gonna have to wait, ok?" We said that was OK, but she left to tend to whatever she went to and didn't head to cleaning the table while we were awkwardly standing next to other guest tables while they were eating. We decided to leave for her rude behavior and lack of customer service. I regret telling people to go here for the oxtail pho. I will need to forewarn them about the rude customer service. *****UPDATE***** NOV 2023 Third time's a charm! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted hello by multiple servers and we were seated immediately. Charles was our server and was courteous, friendly and attentive to our table. The food quality is still great! Just note that the large bowl just means more broth and noodles (not protein). I just noticed the owner's response to my last message and I appreciate the attention to our concerns. We definitely felt the difference in energy, employees, and service this time around and look forward to recommending the restaurant to family and friends.

Decent food. Fried egg rolls were the best! Food was served one plate at a time. There's a bad smell right as you walk in. I'm assuming it was coming from the bathroom. It's only at the entrance though. Servers were decent. But the entertainment for our kids was the robot waiter! Was pretty cool watching it carry the food. Not sure how they chose who gets served with the robot, it didn't come to our table but was still fun to watch. It was a good experience just kinda warm inside, no AC was on and it was a hot day. But the food was just decent. Not a lot of meat in the Pho. There is a small parking lot on both sides of the restaurant.

The food was just ok, which is pretty disappointing for a Vietnamese restaurant. I had bun (the menu didn’t list it as bun, which should have been a red flag). It had a lot of lettuce as filler, and I had to ask for fish sauce to liven it up (the sauce that came with it was quite diluted) the pho was ok but not great. I ordered Vietnamese drip coffee. They didn’t have it at that time, but instead of telling me that, they brought me a latte with a bad aftertaste.

Ordered chicken phó to go. Received complimentary broth with a couple slices of meatball. Good sandwich, great broth. Worth the $10.

Wait staff was amazing. Hoping for my teams game, the young man helped me find and watch through another option. Food was perfect. Clean physically and aromaticly.

Here is 5 Stars for service and food. Meet a friend here from Georgia and he loved it! Good flavored broth pho. Had the filet mignon pho #1 and the meat was very good. The Boba Thai tea was also good. Great place for families as they offer good priced kids meals that include drinks. Other dishes we had was the fried rice was excellent!

Great spot. I work close by and Pho sounded good. Stopped in and order food to go. The bar has a nice selection of beer and plenty of tv's to watch sports. Order food for the family while I waited. Food turned out really good! I would recommend this place to tty out.

Quality of food has definitely gone down. I recently order 2 orders of spring rolls and a kids chicken plate. All of the food was bland & flavorless. I was so disappointed with the spring rolls. Even dipping them in the peanut sauce, barely helped. The lady who was helping me out to go orders was yelling at the kitchen staff in front of everyone. I get you’re frustrated but the whole restaurant doesn’t need to know that you have been waiting for a side of rice for twenty minutes. Will not be back.

Good portions, had the big Pho and enjoyed it all the way, the spring rolls were the biggest I had so far, they do have draft beer, and was Ice cold man, that was so nice, had an 805, next time I'll have a Sapporo. Afterwards I had a green Jasmine hot tea. They were súper friendly and there's even a server robot that brings you the food!

This is the first Pho restaurant I visited in Chula Vista and I have been pleased each time I dine here. The service is good, the restaurant is beautiful and the food is tasty. It has what I enjoy about a Pho restaurant!

Good flavored broth pho. Had the filet mignon pho and the meat was very good. The boba smoothie was also good. Great place for families as they offer good priced kids meals that include drinks. The kids also enjoyed the robots that bring the food out on trays. One comment: the bathrooms are filthy with graffiti and smell horrible!!

I had the Tofu & Veggie Phở and it came out fast & stayed hot til I got back to work and it was delicious. They also have Milk Tea & Thai Tea with boba 🧋 and everyone that was picking up food 🍜 was also getting this orange drink that I guess was mango 🥭 maybe? It was like a smoothie and it must be good to be that popular. For sure I’ll order here again.

My wife and I come here every couple of weeks. The servers are hospitable and friendly, service is great, food is even better! My favorite pho spot, been coming here for multiple years and never been disappointed!

Usually this chain is very much on point, but the Chula Vista location gave me their own twist of flavour to all the food. I didn't think Thai tea would be the highlight of each dish I ordered. The Thai tea was placed in the same bag as the rest of the food, which it then proceeded to spill over on everything in the bag. Also, my spring roll wasn't even rolled.. what?? How did that go out the door without the wrapping??

I believe they are under new ownership or recently added a bar as an upgrade. It was pretty busy when we were there on Tue night! We had a combo pork chop & shrimp w eggrolls & rice, fried chicken breast & steak. It was all delicious. They have plenty of drinks, boba & beer!
