Terrible place I don’t understand how they stay in business. Ordered a shrimp burrito that came with approximately 5 to 7 shrimps and the rest tortilla and sour cream. Paid close to $14 for that burrito. Go to the west side of Chula Vista any taco shop they will probably beat this one hands-Down. Also Ordered a burrito of beans and cheese and the beans were room temperature and the cheese was cold.. I just got finessed for my money..

Really great breakfast burritos. I've only been once so far but it was great food, great service. I'm gonna be going back to try more.

Pretty good service sometimes a line of people. Good food- big variety- but a little on the pricey side.

Ordered b n c burrito which was ok. I also ordered “cinnamon treats” but literally had no cinnamon sugar on them.

First time eating here and I’m extremely disappointed. The “toppings” are legit on the side I thought they belonged on top of my food. This looks like it was just thrown together. The sopes are hard as heck I thought I was eating tostadas for a second. The meat looks dry and burnt. The beans are on one side and the meat on the other side. I honestly didn’t even eat it waste of money smh.

Great service from a hard working staff! The food was ready very quickly and packaged ready to go with all the correct condiments we asked for during ordering. The day we were there was the first day Burros opened up the seating area for customers. The staff did a good job indicating were people could be seated and maintain the proper 6’ spacing. Overall, great experience and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Spent a lot of money here and often the order is wrong. Finally I called to ask them what the order from grub hub said so I can see if grub hub was the issue. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and told me to contact them. I asked to please tell me what my order was in which she was rude again. I told her I wouldn't be spending money there again if this how they treat loyal customers, and she hung up on me. Never spending a money there again.

I ordered the steak and bacon breakfast burrito 🌯 and when I got home, this is what I saw. It was so dry. No salsa. No crema. No guac 🥑 The omelet was undercooked. I was disappointed. The cooks must have been in a rush, I guess.

This place gets one star. The food is always hit or miss and the customer service is horrible. The only taco shop I’ve ever gone to where the salsa that is in the fridge is only for Uber eats not for the customers that order to go. I get it there’s a salsa bar, but I was the only one in the restaurant this morning and the gentleman refused to hand me the salsa because I was not Uber eats.

The food is always amazing and the red hot sauce is the best hot sauce ever! The servers are always so nice Definitely a top 3 taco shop for me

I've been coming here irregularly for almost a decade. The food is always good. Today I ordered the steak and bacon breakfast burrito and it was ready before I finished getting my salsa. The salsa bar was clean and they had to go packaging available, unlike a previous comment stated. $10 for a double meat breakfast burrito that I can barely finish is top tier. Highly recommend.

Great and flavorful food, but can be expensive for a taco shop. They do often have uncommon flavors along with traditional favorites. Try the Xolo tacos or burrito, chicken rolled tacos, chipotle burrito or fries, the flour shell Cali bowls, quesabirria quesadilla, menudo or the veggie burrito. All are great!

I had a great experience here. My daughter ordered the rolled tacos and I ordered a bean and cheese with Horchata and fries. The burrito was larger than a lot of other taco shops these days which was food to see. I didn’t find a salsa that I really liked though. All the salsas were okay.

Hey guys I highly recommend this joint. Food great. Atmosphere on point. Can't wait to go back. Which will be 20 min from now! Hahahah

Love this place! The food is pretty good. I love the Surf and Turf California burrito. Clean dining room with cafeteria style seating, bright with a help yourself drink station and salsa bar with carrots and a variety of sauces.

I absolutely love Mexican food. Although I will try any taco shop once just to give it a shot. However once is all I will give if the food isn't what I'd consider to be Damn good. Well I will just say this Burros & Fries got their one chance...and well it has turned into a minimum 2 visits a week since then. Hands down AMAZING. GUAC SALSA is off the chain.

I absolutely love this place!!! I wish I would have this gem sooner! These xolo fries are so freaken good! I was full after 5 bites but of course I finished it because I just couldn’t stop eating this delicious creation! Good eats right here! And they have vegetarian options

Worst customer service EVER. My family has been coming here for over 15 years. Left my online food on the counter for over 30 min. Never asked what my order was. When I questioned the "man" he turned his back on me and the kid asked me : What did he want me to do about it" Usually, the people are so nice but these guys were jerks. I'd rather eat taco bell. No customer should be treated like that. 👎🏾 Update: bland Carne asada with Burnt SHOESTRING fries? I wish I wouldn't have wasted my time or money. This location is trash. Any other location is better than this one.. or go to Lolita's

This is the second time that I ordered a big morning burrito and chomped down to receive a little crunchy egg shell surprise. (the first being an order through grubhub). I did not want to believe it at first. I thought that this was just a one time fluke but twice in a row confirmed the lack of the inability of their cook to crack a simple egg without leaving egg shells in their eggs. I've worked in the food service kitchen as a cook before and this lack of training is indicative of an overall decline in quality throughout the burros and fries chain. How can you hire a cook that cannot properly crack open an egg? When I first saw burros and fries expand their multiple chain restaurants I was excited at the newfound availability of my favorite breakfast burrito place, but as I repeatedly ate at several other burro's locations I slowly became disillusioned as their once affordable and delicious burritos became Expensive and Mid. I am sorely disappointed.

Their all day breakfast burritos were okay. Price for a burrito is somewhere between $8-13. Not so friendly to a non-Spanish speaking customer. There was some parking available but there's always careless drivers in the parking lot. Be careful.

This was my second time going to this place and my last. The whole experience was wrong. I ordered a shredded beef sope and a pozole verde. My husband ordered the Ensenada burrito and a beer. When we placed the order we were told that pozole takes a long time. I said: it’s fine, I can eat my sope while I wait. Around after 15 min of waiting time, I said to my husband, I wouldn’t doubt our sope and burrito are just waiting for the pozole to be served. Which would be absurd as by the time it’s done those are ruined and cold. He got up and asked, he was giving the food immediately, the tortillas and our food have been waiting there. My door was a disaster, ugly and mushy, the burrito was saggy. I waited patiently for the pozole to be ready. It was easily 10 more minutes after I was done eating my sope. When they finally called me, I told them why they wait to serve the food that is ready if we are eating at their dining room? She didn’t know what to say. I was handed the pozole in a closed container. She forgot to give me the radishes and everything that comes with it. I had to get up again and asked for it. It was a terrible service to say the least. There’s got to be a more efficient way of serving your patrons. If I’m giving them 2 starts it’s because food was not terrible. Hopefully this helps them in improving their service.

Horrible service if I could give them 0 stars I would , I’ve never left a review before I’m not really the type to do so. But this is just my experience here. I ordered a #8 plate. It’s supposed to come with tortillas. I Went to ask for tortillas ( which I shouldn’t have done since the plate comes with tortillas ) it took them 20 minutes , in the mean time they talked and laughed with each other… meanwhile my food was getting cold. Horrible service will not be coming again and definitely won’t recommend anyone I know to eat here either . The burros & fries in plaza Bonita never gives me problems. Have a good night everyone !

I am not from this area. Came to visit family. Was driving by looking for a place to eat. I just want to say that my family and I were extremely happy. The food is amazing! Soooo good! You get a big portion for your buck. We will definitely be coming back. The 2 hour drive is definitely worth it.I highly recommend to family, friends and everyone. Thank you for the great service. 👍

I order 3 orders of the 5 rolled tacos special and they only put 3 rolled tacos in each order. I called to let them know, when I went to claim the other 6 rolled tacos that they owed me and that I already pay for. They refused to replace them and told me that they cannot give me free tacos. They make me feel I was lying even do I showed them a picture of the order given and the receipt. Staff very rude 😒.

I wish I had found this place earlier. The food is so delish and the fries are on point. I kept returning to the salsa bar for the variety. I ordered Las Cochi from the Fries menu on a late night during the week. It wasn’t too packed for a Wednesday but popular enough for pick-up orders. The kitchen and counter employees were hustling. Fun vibe and delicious food. I will be back with my whole crew. Yar!!

This location takes too long for phone orders in advance. I was put in hold for 10 minutes. This defeats the purpose of ordering in advance for takeout. When I got in, there was literally no one in line. I won't be back to this location. The Burros and Fries on Plaza Blvd in National City offers superior, consistent service.

My dad chose this place on a whim, I really wish he didn't. It's a little baffling considering it's close to the border, yet it's not even close to what people in Tijuana can produce. My burrito was already falling apart when I unwrapped it. The steak was mediocre, even Pollo Loco can do better. The salsas were bland, and it was filled to the brim with cheese. It feels like if you asked a white person to replicate Mexican food and they make it 20% steak, 30% Grease and 50% Kraft Yellow Cheese. Also super expensive!! 10 bucks for a burrito sounds okay only when you know the food is gonna be fire. Instead, I wanted to throw it in a fire. I know I'll be exploding their toilet soon 💀

1st time getting breakfast here and it was on point. I'm usually getting lunch or dinner so it was a nice treat. I only had 1 issue once when I ordered the carne asada fries and it didn't have cheese but aside from that I haven't had any issues since and I go there regularly, still.

Picked up food today and as I was finishing up eating I noticed there were holes on the plate. We see the cashier grab the food from the back and now I’m thinking they might have touched the food where the holes are shown in photo. Typically they put the wrapping paper sheets, I don’t know what happened today. Grossed out.

I ordered beef and fries and it tasted like over-salted garbage. I had also ordered a drink that the female server forgot to serve and gave me attitude when I reminded her that she forgot to include it. Even after showing her my receipt. The female server was awkwardly rude for absolutely no reason. They should learn how to cook and have some manners in order to treat their customers properly if they plan on having a legitimate business. Which they don't.
