Oh my goodness! If you Love Asian fusion, this is absolutely the place ya gotta go! We ordered Japanese, Guamanian, Hawaiian. So good!! Beautiful presentation, too! And yes, we had leftovers for a 2nd meal! This was my family's first time, and definitely not my last!

The secret place in Bonita that needs to be discovered! The BEST local Asian Fusion. Went back again, and again! It's 9/29/2022 and we are back, this time not only Da Guam Bomb Rolls, but the Ahi Poke Sushi rolls! Went back for Round 3! 03/18/22. Kamakazi Roll, Da Guam Bomb Roll, Chicken Kelaguen, and yummy, yummy, scrumptious!!😋 😋 😋 I went back for Round 2! Yummy!!! To update 1/16/22 was the 3rd time to this restaurant. We chose Ramen Beef and Chicken (Katsu) Ramen, the Pizza and Kamakazi Roll. We are a fan of much of what we ate each time. But we are not a fan of the Ramen, lumpia or empanada. We would suggest that a Filipino joint for lumpia and more of a Ramen sushi place for your Ramen. We thoroughly enjoyed the Kamakazi Roll, which is now our favorite along with the Da Guam Bomb Roll!

The staff were nice and the food looked good but taste was mediocre. I got the Chicken Katsu Curry with a side of macaroni salad. The macaroni salad had a weird funky taste to it my whole family didn't like it. The Katsu was good and the curry tasted nice but it was so watery it was more like a curry soup. My brother didn't really like the chicken he got either. The lumpias were good though. It's was nice to try but probably wouldn't come back.

Really good food from Oceania. The owner is from Guam, and so there are a ton of Guamanian and Hawaiian foods on the menu. Kalbi beef ribs were amazing, potato salad was awesome. The kids got virgin strawberry daquiris and that was a huge hit. Overall, AMAZING food that everyone should be checking out.

Great food, chicken teriyaki was good. I didn't have to wait long for service or my food, they also recently opened up a tiki bar next door which i will soon try.

one of the most awesome places I've been to. Specialty sushi rolls are enormous and well worth the price they go for. You may wait a bit for the food but that's because they are making it that good :))

First time trying JJ's and it was delicious. We arrived at 11 so there was no wait, staff was very friendly and attentive (being the first ones and only ones for a bit service was very fast) We had the Hawaiian combo, the Chamorro combo, fried calamari and the spam musubi to try a little bit of everything. Everything we had was very good, portions are generous and everything is plated so beautifully. The Huli Huli Chicken was my absolute favorite. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 They have many options on the menu and plan on coming back to try more of their food.

Yet again a great experience. We de ided to get a couple sushi rolls tonight. So glad we did. They were delicious. The JJS special was amazing with the iby shrimp on top. Da Brudda roll was also amazing with the cream cheese and tempura shrimp inside and crunchy flakes and sesame seeds outside. The katau chicken is amazing. The sauce is not what we have had at other restaurants, it's better. Go get some Island food soon.

Great Islands dishes. Hawaiian, Guamanian and Japanese. Beautiful presentations, copious quantities, elevated flavors and textures. Old family recipes and new creations. A fairly large menu. We tried the appetizer sampler and everything was delicious. They have bento box specials that are huge and their regular servings are ample. Come hungry and you'll still have leftovers.

This was my first time here. Got the karaage chicken and spam musubi. A pretty straight to the point order. They were good! Their menu is HUGE! So I'll have to come back so I can update this review. The server helping me was great. It looked like he was training someone new, but still made sure people were helped. But so far, food was good overall

Great location with plenty of parking. Friendly waitress and staff with excellent customer service. We ordered Spam Musubi, Chamorro Combo with white rice, and Chicken Katsu Curry. Everything was so fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Heart warming meals with plenty to go for warm ups. Looking forward to visiting on a Friday night live band.

If you’re looking for a great place to eat then look no further. The lunch special is amazing, so many different items to try all with amazing flavors and textures. Great vibe and energy as well, definitely worth a visit.

Great place! Very friendly staff and great food! The sauce with the chicken katsu was delicious! The red rice and macaroni was delicious as well. Can't wait to try other dishes from this spot!

I really wanted to like this place as it is close to us and I love island inspired fusion cuisine. The truth is it’s a good place to go for drinks and maybe a couple of the appetizers but that’s it. Beyond the teriyaki chicken wing appetizers and the fried shrimp patties, the rest of the food looked good but lacked flavor. How you make rice bland is beyond me but the fried rice was mushy and wet and their macaroni salad is just off. It has a very odd taste and texture to it and it does not resemble Mac salad in the slightest flavor wise. The chicken and red rice was bland and garlic shrimps did not even taste of garlic. I hope the chef goes back to the drawing board to figure out some flavor and revamp the menu. I believe it would be better with a smaller menu focused more on flavor than a large menu on quantity. The sushi is okay but not for the cost- there is way better in San Diego. Overall, it was a huge disappointment. I gave this place another shot after my bad first experience so this was actually my second time dining there. I rarely write reviews of anything but I do think people should know what they are getting into.

Went for lunch and is more of a sit down restaurant. The menu has a lot of options from rice bowls to sushi, I got the shrimp rice bowl and it was really good, it comes with two scops of rice on the side and was a fairly large portion. They also have a tiki bar on the side which I will be coming back for.
