Dark, old school vibe. Neon lights. Dated equipment. No-nonsense staff. Professional but not super friendly. Good bowling experience with the family. No kids pricing ~$7 per game per person and ~$7 per shoes per person - it adds up quick with a family!!

I recently had an unfortunate experience here and feel compelled to share my feedback. Our visit was marred by persistent issues with the bowling lane, which seemed to malfunction for a significant portion of our time there. The inconvenience was exacerbated by the fact that we had to seek assistance from the manager, Christian, on more than 10 occasions. Despite the evident problems with the facility, the most disheartening part of our experience was the refusal of a refund due to the lack of a receipt. While I understand the importance of proof of purchase, it seemed unreasonable given the extent of the issues we faced. Christian, the manager on duty, was unwavering in his decision, which left us feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with the overall customer service. The malfunctioning bowling lane not only disrupted our enjoyment but also required continuous intervention from the staff, impacting the flow of our game and overall experience. It was disappointing to see the manager, Christian, seemingly prioritize policy adherence over customer satisfaction, especially in the face of such evident technical difficulties. I believe that a more customer-centric approach, especially when confronted with persistent issues, would have made a significant difference in our perception of this place. I encourage the management to reconsider their policies in situations where customers encounter substantial disruptions to their experience, such as malfunctioning equipment. In conclusion, I hope that this feedback serves as constructive criticism for this place. While I understand the need for policies, a balance between adherence and flexibility in exceptional circumstances can greatly enhance customer satisfaction. I hope future patrons have a more seamless experience at your establishment.

Absolutely fantastic time. I used a Groupon today with 6 people for a lane for 2 hours. Ended up also getting a 25$ fun card for the arcade. The arcade is a bit pricey. The food is fabulous and well cooked. I got a sampler platter. The wings are really delicious as it's the rest of the food. We (party of 6) got in 2 games. I bought 5 mixed drinks which were all very well made. Also the sodas come with free refills.

The experience sucked. We were really excited to bowl and socialize after covid and not seeing one another. Our lane number 11 was not keeping score. We spoke to a women at the counter and she sent a mechanic that never came. We had to go back to the counter and get a gentleman who was helpful and restarted the lane for us. Unfortunately it still didn’t work. I don’t know why they just didn’t move us to another lane. There were many empty. None of the staff ever checked on us after restarting. Our estimated wait time was 1 hr and thirty minutes by the lady at the counter. We got a lane after 20 minutes. It was obvious they did not want us there. After two hours of back and forth we just gave up, no apology, but at least the bowling was cancelled. I mean what were they going to charge? Sitting 😅 This place could definitely use better staff like Tiffany. Our server at the bar with food and drinks on our $100 tab for 3 people was amazing, checked on us, and very friendly. She is the reason I MIGHT go back. If you can find another place to bowl, I would.

This place is okay. The arcade is just a bunch of kids games and test your luck games which is kind of disappointing. The technology they're using for their lanes is kind of dated. For some reason there's an area to tip when you pay for your shoes and lanes which is also kind of weird. Like what am I tipping for? I understand tipping a server or somebody who's working really hard to make sure that I get prompt service but you're literally standing at a desk and the shoes are right behind you.

Great expirence and lots of staff. 2 games for 2 people came out to around 65$. Wasn't a long wait for a Saturday night which was perfect. I've come and had the total opposite so always check before.

Went here for bowling. Checked the schedule for leagues beforehand and none were shown for Mon eve but showed up around 6 with all lanes full and told none would be open until 830--could've been a party or something else. Decided on the arcade instead. I counted at least 5 broken games and the vr straps were broken as well. The games seemed overpriced-- have been to at least 3 others recently and this was the most expensive. Prizes are all given via vending machine wich is kinda neat but extremely slow. Would've hated for anyone to wait behind our party of 4 to use all our tickets. The claw machine prizes are obviously packed in. IYKYK. The workers walked right through us several times without taking alternate paths or saying "Excuse me" or other. Our kiddos had a good time, but for arcade def wouldn't come here again. For bowling you can reserve but will be over $100. Will just leave and come back if all lanes are full next go.

I hadn't been in a while and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh new look. Full bar plus better food choices kept our stomachs happy and thirst slaked. Service was friendly and often, a nice combination wherever you spend your time and money. The only (minor) change I would like to see is in the bowling ball department. More size selection and fewer dings and pits would round out their clear effort to please! Grab some friends and have some fun.

Or son cerebrated his 8th birthday here and had a great time. We got all the food we could eat and bowling we could do in 2-2.5 hours. The servers were friendly and took care of us. Thank Bowlero for the experience

I didn't pay for my bowling here, went with some friends who had a Groupon. The service was friendly and helpful. The lanes seemed nice enough (it's a bowling alley). Some of the seats however were being held together with duct tape. The food and drinks were good (we ordered a sample platter and a couple of alcoholic beverages). Prices were what you would expect to pay at a bowling alley, so higher than average but not exorbitant.

Overall I liked it. It had several years since I have last been. What took me by surprise was the cost of food and beverages. But very much enjoyable.

Always a fun time at this place! I just wish it wasn’t so expensive, always have to get the groupon coupon and the wait time is like 1-2 hours over the weekends.

This is the bowling palace this place has his own time zone fun time zone we are regulars bowling is my passion, stress reliever this bowlero is my favorite I drive out of my way to go to this one. The lanes are great. The staff is great. My friends say the beer is a little watery. I only drink soda. The sample platters our top choice. Definitely a good place. They have a good house. Boss in the lines are very welcome extremely.

The inside is nice. Looks updated since it was Brunswick Bowl. I was not impressed with the sandwich I ordered because it said it came with mayonnaise and pickles. I added mustard and then only got mustard on it! French fries and the drink were great. But when you pay almost $11.00 for a sandwich (with fries) and read the description then what I really got well you can judge for yourself based on the pictures I added.

Such a cool place! Drinks are delicious! Bowling is super fun! Arcade games are fun! Ball return was kind of slow at first but staff fixed it for us! A little pricey but definitely worth it!

I can’t express enough as to what a great establishment this is!! We love to bowl but my son loves to come exclusively for the Arcade experience. The games are always working and if one is out of service, it isn’t out of service long. I had the pleasure of interacting with Bill, David, and Bobby who work in the arcade and do an incredible job. These guys are friendly and work efficiently to make sure your experience is pleasurable. I’m really thankful for their service and I look forward to every opportunity my son and I get to experience Bowlero Chula Vista! Thanks guys!

I would have given a 5 stars but the AC was not working this night and our birthday party guests were hot & sweating including myself! Overall, we had a nice time the kids had fun and we made the best of it despite it being so hot. Poor staff! And mostly guests! I had asked the manager to please turn up the AC and come to find out, it was broken. I asked for blow fans, the manager said the kitchen staff needed them. For all the money that was spent by our party, you could've gone to Home Depot down the street and used petty cash to buy a blow fan. Anyhow, we had to make the best of it just reminded us of being in Cancun! 🤷🏻‍♀️ So it was fun for the kids.

The location looks and feels modern and functional. Plenty of parking. I had a great time with my family. I just wished they turned up the AC a bit more since it got very warm at times

It has a really fun feel. Great for a family night. Except, the service was disappointing. They were going to give us light bowling balls for the kids but it took us 3x to go up to the desk and remind them that we were still waiting on them. Then, when the waitress came to get our order she was visibly what looked like annoyed at our questions or order (I don’t know for sure) and very obvious she did not want to there. The restrooms and arcade area were dirty although we were there in the earlier part of the day, so I was left questioning whether things are being cleaned. The bartender was great. She was welcoming and quick.

Cool spot, the kids and I go every week or so to play 20$ of arcades. Fun times cool games and always serviced and maintained. Bowling is a bit expensive, but is very fun.

2nd kids birthday party there, a blast both times. They can handle the hustle, the kids, and the busyness. They are ready with their call-in earpiece communication devices. The food is good, there is a bar, arcade game area and pool tables. The staff is kind and attentive, the parking is adequate but free. The bowling was fun, the kids enjoyed being able to pick an animated background for their scoreboard. There is a lot of things in the middle, tables and couches so it's not necessarily stroller smooth but the added seats keep the lane from being too crowded. Looking forward to going back

Went on a Saturday night, it was my first time being here in a long time since they rebranded the place, overall had a really good time. Lots of variety of games at the arcade, armed security, and liked the text message system when they are busy and have your lane or billiards game ready and liked the big projections at the lanes. In addition, I liked the loungy vibe of the decor and atmosphere. Friendly staff and was easy to work with but one thing that I was mostly dissatisfied with was the bathrooms could have been alot cleaner.

After later finding out that I could pay around $8 per person per game I tried to refund the $211 price of reserving a reservation. With over 20 calls made I would just be transferred to another department repeatedly which all ended in going to an automated message that would simply hang up at the end. I tried the corporate guest assistance number through many hours of the day only to be told that all “representatives were busy” and to be hung up on. I’m sure this location is wonderful and a great experience, however the unprofessional nature of assisting guests attempting to make any changes after being charged has left this place off my list. DO NOT make a reservation unless you’re willing to spend over 10x the amount necessary to bowl in a single lane. I’d happily remove my review if any useful actions were taken to be refunded or even partially refunded the money I spent to bowl with just 3 people for 2 hours simply because I wanted to make a reservation.

The workers are absolutely ridiculous, I ordered a drink that apparently I couldn’t order cause you need a party of four, which on my end I wasn’t mad about, but it took them over 30 minutes to get a refund after talking too about 4 different employees there was finally able to get one and each employee kept acting like I was trying to get a refund for nothing, like I already paid and didn’t get the drink so I don’t see why getting a refund was a problem, the place is really good overall but the employees have a really bad attitude I was really respectful about the situation even tho I shouldn’t have been, didn’t even finish one game left cause of the way I was treated. I never write reviews about anything but I really do hope the owner sees this and the workers there stop treating people so disrespectfully.

Great place for the family. You got bowling, pool tables, bar, multiple arcade games, food & prizes. The place is made to create fun memories. I don't see how one would be disappointed coming here.

Great service! Great menu selection. Good deal on drinks. A really great all-around good for friends and family time. The staff is very professional and friendly and keep the place very clean. They have assistant cheater bowlers for the little ones. They have awesome Groupon deals. Also, they have a really great music selection so even if you’re losing at bowling, you’ll probably be dancing the whole time.
