Look for the Taco Bell plaza, the “MJ” sign is really small so look for Yogurt Time sign. This place is a blend of Asian-Mexican cuisine. It has yogurt, smoothies, burritos and rice! I got the 805 burrito ($15) which is under Special Style menu. Choice of meat was loganisa (they said it’s the most popular), choice of fries was seasoned fries and choice of egg was over easy. Added shrimp for extra $2.50. Lumpia was also in this burrito mix. Also came with a drink. This burrito is massive! I ate half and that filled me up all day. The season fries (Cajun fries) were crispy so it had a satisfying crunch with every bite. Or was it from the lumpia?? Either way, it was so good. The added creamy house sauce was bomb to the taste buds. Then the egg yoke oozing out was just gratifying. Oh and longanisa was the perfect meat choice that added a bit of sweet and spicy. BF got Buddha Bowl, comes with red rice, 2 meats (we got longanisa and sisig), 2 eggs over easy style, salad w house sauce topped with green onions and sesame seeds. He said longanisa was better than sisig. It wasn’t crispy compared to other places. Had the same sauce as the burrito. Also a winner. Came with a drink. Lollicup is next door but I decided to get a drink here called Thai/Mex which was a mix of Thai tea and horchata. I mistakenly thought it was milk tea but it’s actually yogurt smoothie like a shake. Not my favorite and didn’t sit well with my stomach. However, they gave out free yogurt sample and OMG, no wonder why this place is called “Yogurt time and deli”. 9 yogurt flavor options. I got a blend of ube and pandan. It was rich, thick, and flavorful. Both flavors were distinct and powerful. For sure coming back for more. Thank you for the “free dessert”. You gained a customer!

OK, I went here with my roomie. And at 1st I really didn't know what to think. It is a little hole in the wall place in Chula Vista. Right across the street from Southwestern college. And when we walked in it wasn't bright and welcoming. And the tables and chairs are a little dated. But as soon as I started looking at the menu, I started to figure out why everybody talks about this place. It is a Filipino Mexican fusion restaurant. And I order does burrito that was stuffed with lumpia. Normally this is the kind of stuff that I stay far away from. Because usually when I order Mexican food, I order the same thing. But I took one bite, And the combinations of the burrito fixings and the lumpia came together really well. My roommate ordered the Longanisa burrito. We split the 2 burritos in half so I can try both. Oh my goodness. This is now one of my Favorite go to places when I want to huge burrito with lots of flavor. The staff here was quick to offer suggestions. And they were spot on because me and my roommate both loved The food. Food gets a 5 star. Service gets a 5 star. Cleanliness gets a 5 Star

Their famous longaniza fries and 805 South Burrito are perfection!! They have a extensive menu that lives up to the hype! They also have desserts/drinks to choose from. Highly recommend their mestiza (ube & white choc) flavor! Another favorite of mine here is the #671Par Bowl 🇬🇺

Out of towner, I was recommended by a friend who lived in the area. I was amazed. Those fries are something else and drinks were amazing. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area again.

We woke up and got a quick bite! Then we looked at the menu and saw all the culture food. We were greeted with great costumer service. Other places take notes. Places should strive like this. It’s called good business learn from this. fast and fresh, and excited for our food. We were asked about our rewards and got two free ice creams. then we got a free smoothie. Great food! Great costumer service! Nice employees! Great sauces. Fresh ice cream and reasonable prices. 10/10 experience. This is Sergio and Maddie approved. Coming with my friends and family.

We happened to be working in the area and on our way to La Mesa when we decided to randomly pick this place to try out. To our pleasant surprise, MJ and Chef Kevin were freaking amazing. Both had a stellar personality, and honestly I would go back here just for that alone. The food itself was creative, we ended up having fries with longganisa...and stuff 😂 not entirely sure what fusion entered our bellies but it was tasty and surprisingly did not sit as heavy as I thought it would be. Well played good sirs!

I went there today for the first time. Everyone was super helpful as we were first time customers. The food came out quick and exceeded our expectations. They gave us free yogurt for being first time customers. So glad we found this place so close to where we live! We will be returning due to not only the excellent food- but the great customer experience.

Cats out of the bag here ... we expect lines to get longer now but ya know ... good for MJ's ... they've earned their near 5 star rating! Almost everyone loves the food because you almost cannot go wrong here. Big menu but don't worry ... staff are awesome, will answer your questions, and not rush you. Came here most recently with 3 friends and we each got a few things on the menu to see if we can somehow find a weak link ... sorry y'all but MJ's is still undefeated on our visits. In its own category. 6 Stars.

The black thai blended drink with coffee jelly is so good here. Sometimes they make it too sweet or too watery though. It's a hit or miss. The people here are very nice and helpful. So I would return again. And the portion sizes are huge. Also, I really enjoyed their taro pandan swirl froyo. It's so creamy and not too sweet.

Hadn't been here in over a decade yet the food is still excellent quality like it was when I was in college. Absolutely awesome & unique assortment on the fries for a reasonable price. I can't wait to go again 😋

Came in not knowing how the menu works. Tall gentlemen was extremely patient with me, knows how to handle stress very well. He walked me through it very slowly and in detail and with great enthusiasm. Food is extremely reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming here again 110%. The laid was also extremely laid as well!!!

So far everything I have ordered has been fresh and delicious from the Buddha Fries to the 805 south burrito! Their frozen yogurt is also good and their service is to the best of their capacity.

I went here today for breakfast with my girlfriend and I gotta say it was fantastic. I had the breakfast burrito which was huge and delicious. My girlfriend got the croissant breakfast sandwich and she enjoyed it. The owner was there and I talked with him briefly. Totally a cool guy. He was super nice/friendly and funny. If you are thinking about checking this place out, don't wait. Seriously just go now, you won't be disappointed.

great food! came for the yogurt and got street tacos too! got an extra small of the yogurt/sorbet with 4 flavors in it - combo 6 & combo 9. tables all stacked for no eating inside so atmosphere was like a 3.

Wonderful staff and food. Everyone was so friendly, it made my day. I used to go here years ago and happened to be in the area. Food is still filling and flavorful! Tons of customization options, but they will definitely help you out if you're feeling overwhelmed. Currently they are take-out only, but the patio is available if you wanted to eat there.

Our food was amazing!! I got my par burrito chimichangad - highly recommend! Treat yourself and add Italian buttermilk shrimp. Chef's kiss! This place is dangerously too close to home. They made our day with free pineapple dole whip for breakfast. Thank you!

I’ve lived in sd for a majority of my life & I knew about this place for awhile & today I was craving a breakfast burrito. Pretty decent size & it’s customizable in a way. The staff is very welcoming too! They only do take-out unfortunately.

Genuinely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant. They’re always in a great mood and the nicest people! The food is always amazing on top of that and they add free goodies with almost every order which is super sweet. Love this place 10/10 recommend!

My boyfriend and I just found out about this spot and went there today. Food was sooooo good. I got the loganiza sliders and the 805 fries. We were amazed by how good it was, it looked great online. Friendly customer service, he explained the menu to us and how to pick the style/meats. Will definitely be back soon!

Best breakfast burritos, Ive ever had the pleasure of having. The California fusion burrito is incredible and massive. The staff is super friendly and they are great people to chat to. I rarely leave reviews but if you love burritos, they are worth checking out.
