Albertsons is my local grocery store and most of the time it meets my needs. I just want to preface this review is ONLY for the bakery and my constructive criticism and feedback is for management of the bakery section. The quality and presentation of your cakes are BELOW SUBSTANDARD. Something this poorly put together should not be gracing the counter of the pastry case. Here is one example of a photo I took. This cake looks sloppy, unfinished, and honestly completely unacceptable. Prices of food are increasing and patrons should not be paying more for such poor quality.

Do not even bother purchasing a cake from the bakery or just don’t get one made for you the premade cakes looked alright. The ladies seemed careless and didn’t take pride in what they do. I ordered a cake for my best friends birthday and it looked so sloppy. The cake wasn’t centered on the cake board and it looked like it was leaning on one side. The handwriting done was horrible. The first time they showed it to me the lettering wasn’t even centered on the cake. I asked them to re do it including the writing and it came back centered but her handwriting; there was just no saving it. I ended up telling them to wipe it off and rather take my chances writing it my own. I know supermarket bakeries probably aren’t the best places to get a cake but I was hoping for atleast a decent cake. I would never buy a cake from there again.

This place is terrible. I had been on the road for 9hours and stopped here a few min before closing to get my 8 week old puppy food. The young man at the door was nice but then I had the security guy in my face we close in 2 min. Then the rude cashier said the same thing as the first two people. Yeah ok I’m not dumb I’ve worked management retail for over 20 years and I get it you wanna leave on time. 3 times I asked where the food was so I could get it and go. You wasted time telling me you were closing. Pointer- listen to your customers so they can get it and be out. Very unprofessional and I’m glad I don’t have to visit that store again!

Love this bakery and must force myself to avoid it. Most times I fail and succumb to their treats. The bakery should get 10 stars. If you need additional help you should always ask for Porsche she is the best baker there she's phenomenal and she just does excellent work on those cakes and cupcakes and she knows what's in stock and what's in store I just love Porsche. Very helpful little lady.

I picked up my daughter's birthday cake and was extremely disappointed at the terrible cut out job they did for the top design sheet. It was also not completely pressed onto the cake, I flattened it to see if it would look better but it didn't. The side design sheets were also not pressed onto the cake completely. They offered to add a new design sheet, I waited 20 minutes after I was told it would take 10 and I got my cake back. The design sheet was beautiful, a perfect circle cut out this time and completely pressed onto the cake. I took it home only to come to the realization it said BAPPY BIRTHDAY with a B! 🤦🏻‍♀️ EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Bakery needs a better lead and someone who's actually passionate about making and designing their cakes. I definitely paid too much money for the quality of cake.

Rude customer service from this employee. I told him three times to move his cart so I can pass by and he just looked at me and ignored me. Are you serious? What kind of service is this

Unacceptable. Front end on auto pilot. Two regular check stands open. One waiting for a manager override. Only three of six self checkouts open. Two of those are waiting for customer service as nobody is staffing SCO. So of the five check stands open only two are operational and nobody is responding to the three that are requiring service. Lots of choices these days of where to spend my money. Think it’s time to start looking around for other options.

Every time that Ive came inside this location to use the restroom, they always look like this. Manager or no one at this store knows this contractor custodian. EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS.⚠️ I almost hurt my hand & there was no one inside cleaning at all. Spoke to manager Stephanie Thomas and she doesn’t know Anything about it. Very unprofessional. A child can hurt themselves here.

My family and I, went to our favorite store Albertsons and vons, this time we went to Albertsons around 10:30pm August 03, the weekly ad has spacial on the can soda buy 2 get 2 free with no limit, and these is the main reason for our weekly groceries shopping, we had around 20 cases and some other things, we headed to cashier, first I heard from the cashier with bad attitude, ma’am you can’t buy all these drinks, these are limit of 4 only, I said no, i showed him the weekly ad that no showing any limit, he said we only let people buying 4 cases only, and because he is the manager, I said No sign in paper saying that and he didn’t want to respect the weekly ad, the ending we didn’t buy anything because the when he treated us, no sign, no respect the weekly ad, because he is the manager of the store is verbal word has the right, and made me embarrassed infront of many people behind me and my family, after we drove to Vons 620 Dennery Rd, San Diego, CA 92154 has no issued with the limit on the can soda they do respect the weekly ad.

I only go because of the great Pharmacy Staff👍 Prices are to high for the necessary food items. Their coupon App is just a waste of time. What little you save is a waste of valuable time & to complicated to manage. I'm 80 years old...my TIME IS MORE VALUABLE than wasting it on "Games" I shop Aldi's for all my basics & have fun doing it. I can get in & out. No problem. I'm over Albertsons & Vons! I've been over charges, not given the discount & told by a checker...when I needed help with their App/coupon deal." "Can't you get some one at home to help you" OK?? Maybe not

The worst service..I just came in to send a westen union..my i say im disabled..and asked for help to the front line manager..dident know at that time that she was .she ignored me..even when i said i can stand for long..she went to help on the register until another employee came was no help at all .so i just left..on 3-1-23 @about 9:30 am..if this is serves.

Great place to shop. The deli section is good. I would recommend coming to this store. They mostly have everything I need, but somethings can be pricey. Other than that, I will continue shopping here.

This store has been recently remodeled, and now the aisles are spacious plus they have added interesting new products. Looking forward to trying them out.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff, and good deals with the Just4u app. They also have a few other services, like a DMV kiosk and you can get a Pronto (bus pass) card refilled here.

Walked in inquiring about a flu shot because there was nobody there wanted to take advantage of my lunch break, the Lady said my insurance covered and started to process paperwork and said it would take 5 min, 40 min passed , two people arrived and were helped and still nothing I was just standing there. Asked again and she said my son had his insurance terminated I had to call my insurance and they confirmed everything was ok.. someone else helped her and was able to process. 10 more min passed and nothing yet! had to leave... No lunch.. no flu shot just a waste of time.. I dont want to think how long we would have waited if there was actually more people there...Terrible service

I didn't not think 🤔 like the new set up. They moved all the items and switched the aisles. Its very unsettling. I spend more time walking around trying to find something. They put out some paper to help but about a human. Having someone there to assist.

Absolutely brilliant... spotless store and very helpful staff! The fruit and vegetable garden area was filled with gorgeous, fresh items attractively displayed.

I have been ordering birthday cakes with fresh strawberries and glaze with butter cream frosting for years, yesterday i picked up my cake and it was terrible i was so disapointed the cake was dry and someone put it in the refrigerator so my icing was hard. The worst cake i ever got from albertsons

Albertsons on 3rd Avenue & J st has all the foods I was Looking for. The Deli section & hot foods is outstanding. The Bakery section has fresh goodies daily. Some grocery stores I don't care for but here the staff are friendly. I LIKE THAT. No matter day or night they are well stocked. Always find what I'm looking for. I don't care for Ralphs just uncomfortable at anyone of there stores, but Albertsons feel comfortable

This Albertsons has good management and good employee's. Normally always stocked and easy to navigate store. This Albertsons also has a DMV kiosk inside which is a plus.

A fantastic place to shop. wonderful, clean and well stocked facility staffed by pleasant, intelligent and polite employees capable of going the extra mile to service their customers.

Needed my meds and my wife and I were very pleased with the quality and cleanness of the store. They also had groceries, that we have been unable to find in our closer store. We will be going back, for sure.

Nice & big, well stocked. Its very Clean and kept neat. Not like some stores in this area,, which tend to get messy from shoppers letting their children run-a-muck. (That is a very common thing in southern California these days.) Has good selection, many to choose from, but is expensive. The ad items are great & good prices but every-day stuff not so much.

This location was good, I’d never been to the area and was there for the weekend and needed to get a few things. Variety was good. However, when we went up to check out our cashier was on her phone snap chatting the whole time. I mean didn’t even put her phone down and we had to wait to checkout till she was done typing her messages. It was very interesting customer service is all.
