As far as fast food goes, this is fresher and better than McD's, BK, Cjr, or Jack's. The new line of birria items are pretty tasty, though I think they're overpriced. The birria ramen was interesting and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the consommè. It's also one of the few places left with a good selection of value items, like the snack tacos, tostadas, crunchy chicken wraps, and bean and cheese burritos. Add to that the strawberry lemonade with real berries, the churros, and the mini shakes, and you can satisfy your munchies for less than $10.

I don't expect much from del Taco but this one is a disappointment the drive-thru is closed and the doors are locked at 7:30 a.m. I can see employees but no service

Arrived to "24 hour drive thru" at 10pm and it was closed on 2 separate occasions , need to update hours to not mislead customers... very disappointed in this location, going to downtown location for better service

I’ve never had any problem at this location, the place is clean, staff is friendly, food is good, they accept your coupons! Drive thru is fast! Plenty of parking!

I placed an order online and even tho it was for pick up and I had to check in, they did not give me the food because it says the order is for the next day when it wasn't supposed to be like that. They was no help in the app and even tho I waited for 20 minutes and I'm walking with a clutch I had to leave empty handed.

Lovely staff! Item missing (fries NBD to turn round) not only did the sweet kids behind the counter drop some fresh ones, they gave me a small vanilla shake which they didn't have to and I thought was a really sweet gesture. (No pun intended) Thank you Del Taco Saturday Day Shift Staff! (Around 3pm) You all deserve praise and a raise for your excellent customer service. 👏🏾

We had some issues with our order and the courteous staff was really helpful and corrected the order for us! The food was good and fresh, really enjoyed it.

Five diamonds to the pleasant women working here at Del Taco; My EBT card has not gone through now in two visits... while the pin is correct and funds do exist, it is not accepting my card ☹️. Yet at this Del Taco I am treated kindly and professionally even with patience and compassion. 😏 Other Del Taco's that I have visited could certainly take note from the team at this location and the effort that they have applied! As for the food, Incredible. On par. I always think it is not hard to make these simple orders and finally I am assured that quality service and quality food does exist at participating Del Taco's.... Never tried a del taco before as I live in the east coast but honestly its better than Taco Bell! I like how they give fries for they’re combos. This location was quick, efficient, and the food was pretty great!

NOT OPEN 1am Sunday 5/7/23. Second location listed as 24/7 that is not, drove from the also closed Lemon Grove store to get here. 12+miles round trip wasted Update: the company keeps on relisting their hours as 24/7 even when corrected by independent reviewers, not sure why they keep doing this but maybe they like wasting peoples time and gas.

Definitely not what it used to be. The food is very small portion and prices are the same or more . Drive through takes a long time . Don't come here if you're in a rush come here if you have 30 minutes to wait in your car for your food .

i wanted to try the new biscoff cookie shake and the cashier told me she couldn't make a shake till 10 and it was 10 min till 10 but its whatever

Doors were locked and closed before 8pm. Couldn't order anything, so I went to the very open BK across the street.

Foods ok. Service was good. Location is OK. Certain customers ruin the atmosphere. Trouble makers/knuckleheads.

I recommend everyone go and try their food, and try their deals there and they make it so fast, and it's in a location u can get to there's in City College and on 28th and main street.

This del taco sucks. They don’t let people inside. So I went through the drive through and sat there for at least 5 minutes with no one taking my order. Do not go here at all!!

Food is spot on, but service can be slow in the drive thru. Never has an order been wrong, and they are open 24hrs! Since being taking over by JiB, the prices have skyrocketed.

Normally i get good service, this time they were out of everything i ordeted. I canceled my order and left.

First of all, the special cheese stuffed quesidilla steak taco does NOT look like the taco on their menu board. I mean, they could not of told me when I asked how big it was for the price they were asking. They were SO SMALL!!! I went through Drive through because the doors to the store were locked. It was about 445pm maybe 5pm. I ordered 2 of the those steak stuffed cheese tacos and fries. When I approached the window, the guy behind the window had black fingernail polish on when grabbing my card. His hair was balled on top of his head with no hair Net. He hands me my order, and he hands me a large sprite. I did not order that..he goes you didn't? I said no I did not. He goes, since you paid for it, are you sure you don't want it? Not thinking about I just took it. Stopped at the end of driveway, I decided to look in my bag. It looked like two wrapped foil that did not look like tacos at all, but two mini burritos. I went back, and said you gave me the wrong order, he says no. Get the manager, I pointed at the picture on the menu board on Drive through of what I ordered, she says yes it was. I gave back everthing and said my order does not look like anything like the picture. She says but it is. So I demanded my money back and left the store.

I gave this place 1 star simply cuz it existed and I was hungry and grateful to find an actual Del Taco and the other 2 stars were for the nice employee (she personally deserves a 5 star on her own, especially just for showing up to work in such a dangerous location). I really didn't think it was open. It looked VERY torn up, run down and abandoned looking. The area is so bad the homeless & junkies surround your car when you pull up to the broken speaker system (it doesn't tell employees your there to order, so you're waiting like a sitting duck while junkies surround your car) I'll return again IF they get REAL security.

This location isn't in the best part of town but it's one of the few Del Taco's left around. I come here whenever I get the chance. It's always very clean and the employees are always friendly and helpful. I am greeted right away and they always get my order right. It's hot and fresh.

They need to update their hours online to match when the employees actually close the business which is 20 minutes before closing. Open sign on, but cone covering the driveway early. I moved the cone cause I was hungry and they had the closed prompt answering the drive through as well. Pathetic!!!!!
