    Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the treatment that I received at your store. I visited your store to purchase some alcohol, but I was denied the purchase on the grounds of having a Mexican identification card issued in the United States. I was told that your alcohol policy did not allow the sale to anyone with non-US identification. I was extremely disappointed by this treatment, as it seemed to me that I was being discriminated against on the basis of my race. I am 34 years old, and I am a US citizen with a valid identification. I have never experienced such discrimination before, and I was shocked that it could happen in this day and age. When I asked to read your alcohol policy, I was told that it was not posted anywhere in the store, which only added to my frustration. I felt that I was being treated unfairly, and that my rights as a customer were being violated. I am writing to request that you take steps to ensure that this kind of discrimination does not happen again in your store. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a copy of your alcohol policy, and any other policies that might be relevant to your treatment of customers with non-US identification. I hope that you will take this matter seriously, and that you will take the necessary steps to ensure that your store is welcoming to all customers, regardless of their race or nationality.     If I'm being total honest, what grocery store isn't busy late at night. Especially if the store closes at 12am or 1am. My best suggestion is if your in a hurry or have last minute shopping don't go late at night. Best idea would be going early morning or when the first open. Overall the store has a great setup, some employee's have there moments. Best front end Manager is Jessica, she friendly and always providing excellent customer service. Prices can be a bit higher than usual however inflation has impact all grocery stores.

    I visit this store maybe 2 times a week for lunch and the hot food counter has the worst customer service. Everytime I have to wait while the employees talk and never acknowledge me. Today I stood there for 8 mins while the two employess had a conversation. I will not be visiting this store anymore for lunch.

    This is actually a nice Ralphs overall, though I have been burned on their basil plants twice now. Each dying within 12 hours of purchase with the stems having root rot. I even tried repotting the second one to see if I could revive it. Out of 8 plants, this was the best they had and it’s still garbage. Moral of story: don’t buy plants from a grocery store.

    Ralph's I've been a customer of Ralphs since 1972 1872 in Gary Indiana in the area call Miller beach was Ralph's grocery store the story was this man met this lady lived in Gary Indiana and we was blessed with a Ralph's grocery store when things were not not in season in the cold Winter seasons And Gary Indiana Ralph's delivered delivered to the store at the Miller beach area and we were able to live as though it was summer all you around And Ralph has been a proud sponsor Of mine for many years martinfamilyindustries.org

    Great team working here I was recently helped out by a young lady named Alex so sweet and kind didn’t just show me where to go when I was lost she took me made eye contact had such a beautiful smile great customer service

    Carmen was a rude cashier. She didn't let me have cashback when CLEARLY she had more than enough in the register. I needed 200 so then i asked her if i could make seperate transactions and she said no. That little short lady is not doing her job right. She must be incompetent.

    Great products, just used to Vons and stores are arranged different, like Vons set up better by product, Ralph's has: Asian, Latin foods and then another aisle for same products but American products. Its confusing

    I called and asked if they had baby food the guy that answered rudely repeated what I said "stage three " & then I said yes he said he was going to go check I said okkk. Then a lady answered the phone not knowing anything that I said so I had to repeat my question. She seemed to be very racists.

    Avoid this Ralphs store when it comes to pick up orders. I can understand when my order was not ready and I had to wait an extra hour to come and pick it up. To me that’s acceptable it happens. But when you are told your pick up order was given to someone else that’s unacceptable. It’s also unacceptable when you have a different date for a pick up order and you had no substitutions but, when you get home. Three of the items you ordered are completely wrong but they do not show up on the app as not available nor as a substitution. They charged me for the item I ordered and purposely gave me something else completely different in picture and name. The otay lakes Ralph’s is a lot better in terms of pick up orders, just a heads up.

    We always find everything that we want in the store. Worker's are very helpful and courteous. Store is always clean and well stocked. Have been going to your store for many many years. Keep up the the great work. We will be back.

    It's just different shopping for groceries these days. It's all self service. The human to human communication is fast ly fading. Not much to say. Just not feeling it. The one guy standing watch was friendly, though.

    I go there around 6-7pm a couple days a week. The guy restocking produce plays music from a Bluetooth speaker and has the BEST taste in music, hands down. He was playing classical music the other day while I was picking out a cantaloupe and it was serene. And I don’t even like classical music. This post is not a joke btw, the dude has great taste.

    The older man with the cast completely ignored me when I was asking for help. Terrible costumer service. As a loyal costumer I am hoping this was a one time case and that this wasn't discrimination since he had no issues helping others.

    Needed a specific shampoo, they had it, bought a couple other things, and the self checkout made it easy. I will say that some of the specials required coupons that i didn't have, and that was a disappointment.

    This location is my "go to store". Been shopping here since I moved back to San Diego since 2014. I know several staff really well since I frequent this store quite often, like Bob, Ruben, Hermie, Liz, Jimmy, and one other new young, sweet guy (whose name I cannot recall but would try to obtain and edit this review who definitely deserves mentioning). All of these staff are awesome! 👍

    I love this Ralphs!!! Its always clean and I always find good deals. Plus they have a Starbucks inside which closes earlier than the store lol but still really convenient. And the best part is , there's a DMV kiosk to take care of your registration and bill.

    Convenient Pharmacy & Friendly, Helpful Team Pharmacist Dr. Ben Walker and Technician Alex consistently are helpful and friendly. They take time to ensure my questions are answered. The pharmacy is located near the front of the store, by produce. Other pharmacies I've used in the past locate the pharmacy in the back. Additionally, I appreciate how Ralphs keeps the store clean and inviting with attractive displays and stocked with a wide selection of quality products including plant-based foods. Thank you Ralphs!

    Terribly slow deli talked to a manager did nothing. Two guys working one overworked making sandwiches and the other frying stuff. Completely ignoring customers that need deli. They are overworked and when they finally attended to us, a long face and bad attitude. We shop here all rge time and spend thousands a month in groceries. Definitely bad management and staffing.

    it was my very first time and will never go back there even when the store had my items that i been looking when the store i go to doesnt have them in stock... i will say the store its nice and it was awesome that they had what i needed so i dont have anything against the store but the people that go there and the cashier was not nice... the people that go there are mean and more when you have a toddler also the cashier that i went to pay my groceries was mean and rude she never smiled i started by saying good afternoon and she just looked at me and rolled her eyes and also was mean to my toddler, my toddler opened some candies and accidentally drop some i was about to pick them up and when i was going to she told another person in a bad way to clean it up because my toddler made a big mess and didnt let me pay until i see that the other worker cleaned... my toddler felt her and even said im sorry im sorry and she was looking at him with mean eyes.. we felt racism was in there and humiliated we felt like if we were doing an extreme bad thing there will NEVER go back there i never felt like this in my life going in a store from the cashier nor the customers
