I've seen some reviews (people who feel entitled) about this place and can't believe why some people gripe about the slightest things. I've been to various places for breakfast all over San Diego, but I always come back to this place. Why? The service is OK. What do you expect when you have one server sometimes two, waiting on 15 tables and full of people! The food is great, freshly cooked when you place your order. They have a varied menu to choose from. Its clean and management and staff are very friendly and want to provide you with the best service possible. The prices are very reasonable. Don't forget these hard working people don't work for free. They have families to feed. Show some appreciation and leave a reasonable GRATUITY.

It is always a pleasure to dine here. The food is great, the prices are super low, and the service is fast, friendly, and efficient. Great variety too!

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My uncle Tony is a regular here. He invited us to have morning breakfast in celebration of my grandmother’s birthday. Everything was wonderful! The coffee was fresh and my cup was always refilled without me having to ask. The food was very well made. Large menu, basic home cooked meals, and delicious. No one at my table complained and there were 8 of us. The staff was friendly & customer service here is definitely important to them. Keep doing what you’re doing!

I am walking out of Manna's as I write this review. WOW!!! I ordered breakfast (pancakes,omelets and so on.)The cashier asked me if I needed any extra condiments and I replied yes, I would like 2 extra syrups.She replied I put 4 syrup's in your bag already.I replied thank you ,I would like 2 more please,She replied you only have 3 pancakes 4 syrups is enough .I replied I love syrup and I will pay for 2 more if that's the policy here.The cashier then reached and pulled out 2 syrups and put 1 in my bag.I once again said that I would pay for the extra one in her hand .she replied you don't have to. My bill was $17.82.She looked at me and said that will be $18.00..she could have charged me the extra .18 cents from the beginning...I have been a patriot here for over 10 yrs.but this will be my last time..

I have been going to this place for about 3 years now and I love it 🙏🏼. I know the owner pretty well and he's out-going and very 🤣. They definitely will make sure that you're satisfied before you leave 🤪🥴😍.

Medium eggs with sausage and flour tortillas cooked to perfection. Sr omelette with potatoes plus upgraded bread as wheat toast delicious

We Have been going to Manna's Over 15 years. Sam the owner remembers your name & always welcomes you. His #1 server has been with him forever...always greets you with a big smile & hello. The food is simple with many choices...from American pancakes, biscuit & gravy, burgers to Mexican & good Chinese. He has cheap breakfast choices too. It isn't over the top but its clean, plenty of seating & Makes you comfortable like the "Old Days"....darn only if he had a Jukebox :)

I've been going here since I was 6 (I'm 20 now) nothing but excellent food and service always! Every time I go it gets better. Everything is cooked to order and fresh which is worth the ten minute wait. The serving for the combo plate is smaller than most places but perfect for one person and only $6.99!! The man who takes the order is very nice! the place is extremely clean as well.

This spot is a hole in the wall, but the food is delicious! The machaca plate had all the right notes, and reminded me of how my grandma used to make it. The seating area is clean and comfy. The prices are very reasonable as well. I would like to come back and try the lunch dishes, like the orange chicken. It's a very unique menu combo, so I would recommend it. Eat up!!!

Frequent customer, can attest that they have the best Chinese food I’ve had. So it’s easy to understand why I was a little frustrated when the chicken fried rice I ordered had some very chicken in there. It was visibly chopped up and cooked in with the rice like that, cooking the chicken rapidly resulting in dryness and an almost leather look to the outside of the chicken. It’s not like everything else on their menu that is excellent. They also have chicken curry which is really damn good, the chicken was cooked much better then.

Very good Chinese food, everything is very tasty, it does worth every penny.

Believe it or not a restaurant with three different cuisines that works. Felt like. A good old country breakfast and found this nearby. When I got there I changed my mind and ordered machaca and eggs with flour tortillas. Saw some delicious looking sausage and eggs go by. I am excited to try this place for lunch or dinner.
