Hector’s located on broadway just right across Costco, has the best seafood in town. There is plenty of parking. I usually go in the mornings or noons and there are plenty of tables available. I love their shrimp aguachile. They have fresh ceviche all the time and great Paella on the weekend. I admit, I enjoy an ice cold michelada at Hector’s on the weekends. They have domestic and imported beer, heck even some draft and craft beer too. Waitstaff are super cool.

Clean, prompt service. The chips and salsa were on the table as soon as we sat down.

Food was excellent. Fresh seafood, prices are a little high. Will return again. Laura was on her phone with a customer looking at photos so had to wait to be served. But after she realized her mistake she was on the ball. Might return, but they really need to work on those prices. Other than that great experience.

Wow. Just wow. I stopped in for a to go order of the Combo Burrito thinking I was just gonna get a quick burrito to go and I got a whole like 5 course meal with salad, soup, chips and dip, beans and rice! And the FLAVOR!!! The food was amazing, like I can't even tell you, the spices are so good dude. If this place reads this review, please thank the chef for me personally because dude this was legit the best food I have had in a long time, it was so good. If you're reading this, go here. Like don't even think twice, it's legit, just go. I'm definitely coming back here and telling everyone I know about it. Dude. SO GOOD.

Yesterday on Christmas day i order via doordash only 1 item and it was completely a mess,, i order a Hector’s ceviche with remove items ( no pico, no cebolla no tomate ) it was also on the receipt, wish I don’t understand what part they don’t understand, I know this could be done because I always order the same ceviche at a different location and they always follow my instructions, im very dissatisfied and disappointed, i have severe allergy to those ingredients and couldn’t believe they dont care on customer satisfaction, which i have to remove my self, also i order a side chipotle and it was not even in the bag, and all the ceviche juice was all over the bag too, what a waste of money, bad customer service that they dont read or follow instructions on whatever you order. Just go to a different location

Best Margarita ever!!! Salmon was indeed above my expectations in flavor…Definitely would return again. My buddy’s Campechana was also very very delicious (I don’t have a photo of it)

The service here is excellent. The waitstaff is polite and friendly. They accommodated 11 people for our party and we had a great time. We tried the mariscada which was good except for the Chiles güeros rellenos which were gross for some reason. The chipotle shrimp pasta is very good. The taco enchilado is delicious and spicy and the shrimp ceviche is Fresh and yummy.

Hector's is a fantastic restaurant. Been there only twice. Delicious shrimp tacos scallop tacos ceviche everything so far I've ever had. Very friendly service. Quiet atmosphere. I live close so I'll be going there frequently.

I had the stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon, and she had the chicken with cheese sauce.... neither were edible, they were both overcooked, the only thing you could taste was the bacon, even if you managed to take off the bacon, and the chicken was tough and rubbery. The soup was pretty good. The waiter was pleasant, but made no offer to compensate for the meal.... maybe the cook was having a bad night, but I don't think so!

The food was honestly pretty good, but I got food poisoning from here. Im giving it the benefit of the doubt due to me previously being a bit bloated but i had to miss work the next day, it was bad.

We were recommended to this spot, We got in and sat down fast. We waited 5 min before the server showed up (not his fault, packed house). The order drink and food was fast served, but the tostada tasted weird, and the campechana. Was thick and barely any meat. Seemed that they had messed up on these and just had them sit there a bit. The server was quick and on point. Amazing guy, was quick and clean.

Shrimp on Kabobs were not deveined Clean.....😰😰😰😰😰 I ordered Paradilla #2 Kevin Server was very attentive. Cook was not.....😰😰😰😰 I could not finish or enjoyed my plate!

Wow. From the exterior you would think this is just gonna be a mid to low range type of place. But once you walk in, its like being smacked in the face! Place is nice. Great food. Good staff. Awesome decor. Love it. Definitely going back.

This restaurant has great Mexican cuisine and the greatest happy hour in all of San Diego County with $1.95 draft beers. This is the place to make your party happen.

The BEST service! Everyone is extremely kind, accommodating and efficient. Their ceviche is stellar! And of course the micheladas!

good sea food in chula vista.

I had a 2 Taco platter- one fish and one smoked fish. I was so hungry that I was eating it and didn't realize until I really looked at it, but it didn't look fully cooked. I was not really expecting a sushi 🍣 taco. The smoked fish, which I would expect to be somewhat salty, was VERY salty. The server was very courteous. however, there was another server eating near the drink machine, no mask. This didnt strike me as being sanitary.

Beans were great. Service sucked and i think the we complained to is the manager and he was very rude. Agua chile does not take 1.5 hours to cook in lime. He told us that it takes that long and would not issue a refund. The shrimp was not cooked. We were not going to eat it and get sick. We get this dish in rosarito all the time and its always ready when its brought to you.

Food is awesome.if you like seafood. They have hamburger too for kids if they don't like seafood. Friendly and professional staff. Consome is awesome too
