Disappointed by the food and puzzled by the customer service. The food took nearly 35 minutes and there was only one other person waiting for food, everyone else had theirs. The vibe was good, upbeat and colorful but the food was just so-so. The burger waaay overcooked, the gyro meat was good as was the yogurt sauce. The spinach pie was sad and old. Normally the pie layers are light, crispy and delicate. Everything was heavy, salty, soggy and def microwaved. French fries were covered in a good flavored salt and substantial. The biggest weird thing were the cashiers. They told us they'd call us when the food was ready and they did, for us and a couple of other folks. But then this young, good looking guy came in and they took this food directly to his table and then a couple other things he needed. Not cool girls, not cool.

First and foremost, this place gave EXCELLENT service to my children. They asked the kids if they wanted a quarter for the gumball machine and gave it out from their own TIP jar. The food was Amazing and portions were very large! Great family meal.... Highly recommended for a family sit down dinner, even better as a take home order to relax and enjoy. Called a order in today 12-13-21 @ 1:27pm. Was told a 15 minute wait time. When I arrived and after paying $15.21 for my 8oz Deluxe combo order, the girl ask the guys cooking in the back for my order. They told her they had no phone order in. So I stood around waiting after I paid with another customer in the restaurant. After waiting another 10 minutes and hearing the girl say order 91 was up and I look at my receipt which said order 86 I was pretty much done. I didn't bother asking for my money back as I kept the soda I had in my hand. Pretty expensive soda for $15.00. I believe the manager was their cooking who cant seem to wear his hat backwards right as its always to the side of his head from previous visits. Don't worry about the $15.00. Maybe take that money and invest with better customer service in the future as the girl didn't apologize . Best of luck with your business. I wont be back.

Excellent meat and delicious, the fries very tasty and with little fat, super!!! The only thing that needs to be improved is the service.

CSB is a quick, pick up & go for really good burgers and some Greek items. Moderately expensive. The ONION RINGS are 9/10. In the top 5 I have ever had so far. They're a bit pricey but generous in amount. The Greek Salad. Overpriced & disappointing. (Get better at Carnival Market.) The fries are quite good. The interior design? Well, feels more like a lobby or waiting room. There is a t.v. But again, like a waiting room. The crew is fast, friendly and professional. Wait times hardly ever over 15 minutes. 12 minutes was the longest I have had to wait so far. Burgers here are better than N & Out I have to admit. Temperature wise the "lobby" can get quite warm, at times, due to proximity to grill.

Great food as always!!! My family begs me to grab dinner on the way home from this location and they never disappoint! The fries are amazing as well, highly recommend! The staff was very friendly and handled a very rude customer with the up most professionalism. The cashier even apologized to me after he left.

This place was very disappointing. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and received a pastrami burger. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the service. The young lady got me a side of bacon for my burger, even the bacon was bad and tasted like char. The burger tasted completely of char and it was extremely dry. The gyro burger is what my partner got, she said the burger texture was that of emergency army rations, the gyro meat actually did have good flavor but there wasn't much of it so she ate that separately, the cheese was smaller than that of a Kraft single, about half the size. A hard pass on this place. I'll drive to La Mesa and go to Gus's from now on.

Excellent A+ Employee that took our order was extremely friendly and happy to be there. Hard to find nowadays! They turned on Shrek for our kids to watch while we ate.

Stopped by to pick up something quick. Honestly we had been talking about it at work all day and found that there is one in Chula Vista where i was headed that evening. I had the Philly Cheese Steak. It tasted really good, even though I didn't ask for it like my Philly born and raised co worker said I should order it. The only complaint is that they just wrapped it really tight so it made the presentation not so great. But that could be rectified by just letting them know when I return, not to wrap it so tight. Check them out though, right off 805 & Telegraph Canyon West.

We ordered a chicken salad and the chicken tasted old and nasty. That was my go to but not anymore. I do not recommend this place because they serve old food and not give good service. When I complained, they did not care. Not recommend.

Delicious!! Great service! The prices are great too! My boyfriend and I split the #7 1/4 chicken and gyro for 17 bucks and had lots left over. We really liked the fries. We’ll be back!

I normally don't rate a low number however when you have an employee smoking right next to their employee exit door it doesn't smell or look good on the business. The prices are also high for their sandwiches and hamburgers. The french fries are actually good, I will say, but overall their service is really dependant on the people behind the counter.

On our trip to Sesame Place visited. Very nice friendly workers! Love the vibe especially with the reggae music. Should be called Greek Steak Burger because of delicious Greek infusion on the menu... We shall be back!

My second time trying this place out. The burgers are seriously great! The fries are killer and well seasoned. Come hungry and leave full. I have tried two different burgers and they are really good. The Philly cheese sandwich was really good. These people are very nice, friendly and know how to cook. The place smells amazing just walking up to it and there are always people coming and going as well as eating there. The prices for what they serve are well worth it. Try them once and you will be back…

This place is awesome! I saw the name and was intrigued so I had to try. This place didn't disappoint. The burger was fantastic. I got it with the gyro meat on top. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (as it was my first time). I will be coming back!

Love this fast food style resturant known for Gyros and great burgers. I ordered 3 meals but one gyro plate fed 3 people. Really good food served quickly. My favorite secret is that you can buy just an order of gyro meat inexpensively that i use at home for salads and snacks.

This is the second time I ordered a gyro sandwich from this place that is ice cold. There was no sauce to accompany the sandwich either. I am not going to be going back here any longer. To their credit their fries were hot and good but the sandwich was treated as an afterthought. To spend money to have food prepared just so that it is cold is really ridiculous.

I have been going to the University Ave location for decades. This location a few times. I used to love the burgers. Now I must order the Souvlaki Sandwich (the steak). Tender seasoned beef cubes on a pita with tomatoes, peppers and the Taziki (?) sauce. Enough for a meal by itself. If I’m real hungry, I order with fries. Five years ago or so they gave more meat but still excellent. I would be happy to pay extra for more meat option.

The 8 Oz burger was hefty and tasted great. The price I thought was very reasonable, $8.99. Employees were very friendly. Freedom to mask, or not. Loved that part. Merica!

Heard so many good things about this place, so I decided to make a trek down here: Here's my food recommendations: - Large Greek Salad with chicken - Beef and chicken Kabob Plate - Large Chili Cheese Fries - Porterhouse steak Their chicken is so flavorful along with their kabob plates. My chicken was so saucy and it paired so well with the salad. Reasonable portions. Overall a good value. The staff is very courteous and prompt with service. This place is great for sit down or takeout. Overall, we enjoyed our food and definitely will be back!

Out here visiting from Los Angeles with my kids and bf and came across this place Wow the best place. I had never tried a steak burger and I loved it. The ladies that work there are very nice and helpful. They even put a movie on for the kids to watch while we ate. Left satisfied thank you 😊

First time here and I came with my fiancé. The girl who greeted us and was so helpful when deciding what to get. She actually convinced me to order a burger instead of the salad I was about to get lol. We ordered two 8oz steak burgers and the chicken strips with fries. They were relatively busy and took them like 15 minutes to have the order ready, reasonable wait time! The chicken strips were ok, they were tasty but they were kinda soggy/ a bit of a weird texture for me. The fries were on point, very tasty and well cooked. I'm glad I ordered the burger, the meat was yummy and cooked as we asked. My fiancé added bacon and I added gyro. I'm not sure if they forgot to put cheese on mine or they just come without cheese but my fiancé's burger had cheese and it was a lot better than mine. Even if they forgot the cheese, food was very good with very reasonable price. We spent less than 30 bucks and we left very satisfied.

This is my Happy Place!! They are always busy. Yet they manage to do a fantastic job. Be sure and TIP! You think it's Hot outside, those guys are crammed in a small space next to a grill!!

By far, one of the best burgers in San Diego. The customer service was top notch and the place was clean for being so busy with customers eating at every table. This was a good experience from the start. The place is clean, and the service is great. Our cashier was welcoming and open with us. She made us feel appreciated as a customer. I ordered a 8 oz. cheeseburger combo with gyro meat as a topper (included in combo), fries and a drink. They even asked how I would like my burger cooked. The burger and fries were both very tasty. The size and portions of food were very generous. They had baklava there too, and it was also tasty. A good place to eat!

Worse service ever from OSCAR! He kept turning his head and looking out the door while I was placing my order! Like who does that? The ladies at the counter are pleasant. They smile and talk to you . I don't know what kind of training he's had. He acted as tho I was interrupting his day. Thats ok. I can go somewhere else and eat. Not to mention the food has gone downhill. Wayyyyy down! You get a choice of rice or french fries with the dinner and I always choose rice because its soo good. The rice I had today was flavorless. It had no seasoning whatsoever. This used to be a good place to eat. I've brought lots of friends here and they liked it. I won't be coming here anymore. Dickies has pit smoked ribs and way more sides to choose from. The 1/2 lb burger was delicious! My husband had the patty melt, and he loved that too. They will cook it rare if you like, which means the meat is high quality ☺️
