Had a very umpleasant experience. I don't recommend staying at the place. It looks trashy outside and there is thugs smoking weed on the parking lot with loud music and loud cars. Unfortunately, i was there 4 nights, one night the people next door to us threw a party and didn't shut up until 3-4am. Our floors looked dirty like they had never been cleaned and the bed sheets didn't look clean either. I got to a point where I wanted to leave and pay to stay somewhere else for my last night but decided to wait as I had paid already on my package. I recommend spending little extra money on a better hotel. Btw the nice pictures used to trick you are from when it was named Best Western Inn when it was probably under better management.

Dirty place with a lot of hair in the bedding and bath tub! Floors are also dirty. I have never seen such small pillows. Don’t recommend this place.

This place always offers a reasonable rate, very quiet most of the time, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There's also plenty of parking which is always 🙂. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area!

This was a decent place to stay. Fridge and microwave, downstairs floor that is handicap accessible. The bath tub actually had a plug, which we don't see very often at places we stay. The bath tub also included a non slip mat. There are restaurants and gas stations nearby. The bed was clean, and comfortable. There was a little seating area to sit and eat your meals. The room included a coffee maker, and coffee. There is a desk in the room to sit down and do business. The lady at the front desk was fairly nice. The check in process was a little slow, but she found as downstairs room just like we needed. This place requires a $100 deposit that you'll get back the next day.

I booked a room and was unable to make it due to testing positive for Covid and when I tried cancelling they said manager is out for a month so I couldn’t cancel so I asked if I’m supposed to go in with covid and lady on phone said that was up to me. Did nothing to help me and obviously they are exposing other people by allowing people with covid to come in 🤦‍♀️

Can hear people through the walls. Have to turn on the fan to muffle them. Man was following me across parking lot the night before & asked me for meth as soon as I checked out of hotel the next day

Looks nothing like what we stayed at 🤨😝, the rooms were absolutely disgusting 🤢.. these pictures will give you an idea of what we had to stay in , no coffee ☕️ pot, no ice machine , fridge was gross 🤮 , drawers were off rails so they didn’t close right , found what believed to be dried blood on dresser , they had no blow dryer or iron . When we did get Blow dryer it had a short ( dangerous), old as heck furniture. You had to sit directly in front of tv 📺 because remote didn’t work . Cracked sink , towels were course like sand paper 😩😳, the bed didn’t fit on the rail correctly wich made noise ever time we moved and I kept hitting my leg getting on and off bed , bedding outdated . I bring my own pillow and blanket , as I found hair on sheets and pillows were brown and old 😣, coming back from an all day outing found the next room to be smoking pot with water container holding door open ,with us coming out of town had no choice but to stay one night ( thank goodness) here . Why are they still open 🤨, lady at front desk was rude as heck , questioned everything I asked 🤔. Leaving I noticed homeless looking in parking lot. If I could of given a zero I would of . Do not stay here , I’m not made out money but this is far from anything good 😠😵‍💫😵👎🏼. We should get out $$$ back ! Open when it’s up to standards 😡

Do not stay here! I recently had booked this place for one(1) night and I could not force myself to stay here. This place is straight out of a horror movie. The experience was horrilbe and I should have known better just from the way I was greeted. (Skip to the end if you do not want to hear the rant) It took over 10 minutes to have someone show up at the front desk to check me and my partner in. Upon arrival, the receptionist didn't even so much as say hi to me. I was given a room key and given directions on where the room was located. Upon arrival to the room, it emmediately smelled like cigarettes and weed, there were patched up holes in walls, and there wasn't even a safety lock on the door to close it. I went downstairs to speak to the receptionist, another 5 minutes to show up, and requested a different room. The "new/non-dirty" room was not any better. Still smelled like smoke, totally run down furniture, lose hinges on the doors, and rocks for pillows. I went back downstairs and told the receptionist that the room was not any better and we really did not want to stay here anymore. I requested a refund since we were not staying due to the poor state of the rooms and he emediatly said there wasn't anything he could do for me. Since I booked through a third party, I needed to take it up with them. I left totally upset but, figured this would work itself out given that I had a valid reason not to stay here. Since then, it has been a week, and Expedia has tried multiple times to have them give me a refund with no luck. Apparently, the one to grant refunds is the general manager, who is out of town, they are not sure when he'll be back, and the only way to reach him is through email... Way to give the work around to keep the money! Save yourself the money, trouble, and disappointment and DO NOT STAY HERE!

The lady at the front was nice, but the room had so many issues. The floor was disgusting and had not been mopped. We took a wipe to the floor and it was extremely dirty. There was mold to the right off the fridge. The drawers on the dresser were broken and not placed on track properly, one of the drawers fell out on my son when he pulled the drawer open. There was a roach in our room and all night the smell of marijuana took over the room. The door was also not secured properly causing the ac to sleep out of the cracks. The seat was stained and the beds did not fit the frame, the frame was too big causing us to keep running into it and hitting our legs. I would not recommend staying here.

Big plus on location. Customer service needs a lot of improvement. Front desk seems to be in a bad mood at all times. The rooms are big and nicely decorated. Sheets were not very clean nor the floors. Parking lot is very dark it feels unsafe.

My husband and I stayed here for several weeks. The location is superb! So many shops and restaurants within walking distance that I still have yet to explore them all! The swimming pool is lovely, as are the caring and attentive staff members. I got to where I'd look forward to their cheerful greetings each morning. Ms Josephine went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The room is spacious with new mattresses and great lighting and accessibility. Plenty of space to handle even my seriously over-packed luggage. Highly recommend for the value, location, and service.

I booked a room online, and when I got to the motel, I had booked it for the following night. I told the girl to cancel the reservation, and she said she would. The next day, there was a $75 charge pending for this room. I went back to the motel, and the girl told me that I had to cancel through Expedia, and that she FORGOT to tell me this. Incompetence completely. So, I am out $75!! I will NEVER use this place again!!

This place looks a lot better from the outside. The room we stayed in seemed like it should have been labeled out of service. It smelled a lot like cigarettes. I made sure to take pictures for this review. I will say the location was nice it was close to a lot of restaurants and WAY better than motel 6

This was our first attempt here for our corporate uses (check in 7/18). Started bad. Younger lady all in black, black hair, Booking .com stated 2pm check in. I had to go to the night window, she could not even be bothered getting out of her chair, even after I said cant hear you. She just kept saying 3pm, ok informed her the website said two, she said fine, $35 more. She made it very, very apparent I was interupting her tik tok time or something. Never even bothered checking my reservation to see it was a corporate (Corporate accounts are loved by most hotels) There is only one of two answers acceptable, "I am so sorry sir, but the rooms we can put you in are not ready yet, our apoligies" or "It is 3pm, let me see what I can do for you" Your employers will probably not be happy you blew out a corporate account. When I came back, 45 minutes later, a younger Asian lady helped me, she was efficient, polite, great to work with. Cleaning staff, even though we couldnt speak to each other were friendly, and the mature HIspanic lady (assuming the boss), she was very pleasant, very friendly, very respectful. I would say, get that one employee away from your customers, she is more harm than good for your business. I mean honestly, I am not sure our corporate will use you again. The rooms, they were clean, looked nice, fridge, microwave, nice flooring and AC worked, cant ask for more. It looked like the hotel was remodeling as there were like 30 mattresses in the parking lot. Maybe still waiting on disposal. The one washer and dryer looked like something I wont put my clothes in, vending machine didnt work..........so thinking they are working on the place. This is a basic hotel, it attracts the kind of guests on a Friday night or Saturday night that wont care they are keeping others awake, and I sure would not leave a nice car in the parking lot. During the week, it was quiet and nice, Friday and Saturday night, I got no sleep......................look, it's not bad, it's not a nicer Holiday Inn express. for me alone, it is fine, I wouldnt probably bring a family

Stayed one night and probably the worst night-stay in a hotel. They should control the smoking thing inside the rooms. And should work on their cleaning staff. The rooms had dust all over the place and not to mention the reek of cigarettes!

The room is foul. For $200 a night you expect a nice room. Our reservation claimed queen beds but what we got were fulls, the shower didn’t have a proper curtain, the floors were dirty, pillows disgusting and old, towels ratty, there were crumbs and food debris in my bed. There was garbage in the ice bowl. They need to hire new housekeeping because this was unacceptable.

If I could give it no stars I would. The rooms Reek of cigarettes like really bad it makes your chest hurt! Even the “no smoking rooms” best sheets and towels super dirty almost like they are never washed. Huge holes in the walls everywhere! Light switched broken or removed! Had to sleep in the light. Smoke detectors missing!! Hairs all over the place! Writing on the walls. Carpets super dirty. Couch super dirty and smelled really bad! Cigarette burns! Table dirty. Whole room was filthy I’d rather have slept in my car. Wouldn’t be surprised if I get sick from it! They weren’t helpful at all they refused to change our room or refund our money! Then showed complete disregard for our first concerns with the room.

Pros: - It’s a room. You get the essentials plus free wifi, a large table with two chairs to eat comfortably at, and a fridge/microwave. - Lamps have USB ports to charge your phone which is nice Cons: - Hole in the wall sealed off by a few sheets of toilet paper - No hand soap to wash hands at the sink - No peephole in the door which really limits security if you’re worried about who’s at your door at night - Receptionist was a little sassy but I would be too if I was getting paid a low wage to deal with creepy/nasty people - Tiniest bed pillows in the world. - Shady people roaming around the property If you’re looking for a temporary stay with mild privacy then this is fine. Don’t expect state of the art cleanliness here since our room was pretty beat up when we first checked in. Not too shabby for 1 night.

bed was not comfy. neighbors were very loud, blasting mariachi music late at night and then a loan shark came for one of them near daybreak. I was woken up several times. we begged the hotel to put us in another room that night and they promised that they would but when we got back, they told us they were no other rooms available but that we could call if there was a problem. however, hotel phone was broken and I called multiple times on cell phone but nobody picked up

The room is very clean and comfortable for a couple of days. The staff member was okay. I ask if they knew any good restaurants around and didn't even what is good around the area.

Chula Vista Inn. The room was very dirty. Trash under the bed and room looks dirty nothing like the pictures. There was no coffee maker in the room. No iron either the mirrors were dirty. The phone on the room didn't even work. The mattress was to small for the frame. My husband hit himself several times on the frame getting out of bed. The sheets had yellow stains on them. You can also see visible hairs on the sheets I'm glad that we always carry blankets with us so we ysed ours insted. We ask the front office to clean our room since we were since monday and they said we can't there's only one person lady cleaning 3 days without cleaning the room. So the only thing she said was we can give you the stuff so you can cleaned. I said are you 4 real. I also ask 4 fresh towels and in a vad manner she said how many so i said well is my husband and I. I was very disappointed 😞 to this hotel very bad i will never going to cone back here. The good thing i took pictures abd video when we first arrived abd when we left just in case they said that something was missing. Chula Vista Inn. You need to have better cleaning and service. Very disappointed

There wasn't even a luggage cart to help you take your luggage to the room. The room had a redeculous bed. The mattress didn't even fit the bed. One towel and 2 wash clothes for 2 people for 3 nights. The outside of the building and the grounds needed some TLC. The refrigerator needed defrosted. A homeless person sleeping in the stairwell. Sorry but I'll never be back. Seemed to be in a good location.

Everything said in the bad reviews is true. Staff really friendly, but room still dirty. Fridge with garbage inside. Filty floors and broken furniture with garbage and clothes inside. Beds so bad that you wake up more tired and with back pain. A/C barely surviving. Sketchy people around. Even the worse motel I been too is way better than this. Paid almost 300 dollars for this. Cpuld of spent a bit more and stayed in a luxury room. No information provided when to check out or when to get breaksfast, or nada. I strongly reccomend anywhere else.

2/22/2023 No breakfast as indicated on website. Easy check in, full size beds on queen size frames that squeak like old patio furniture. No coffee machine in room but fridge and microwave. Room was clean enough, no lamps in room so only lights canned ceiling lights that were extremely bright at night. I would rate this as clean, sort of on the dumpy side and for the price of 2 double beds one night $120 should have been nicer. Next time I’ll go with The Comfort Inn.

They are a scam . They uses third party Booking and have hidden charges. If you a visitor you better off getting a room in mission valley or by the SeaWorld area. Not worth the money nor headache. They do not refund money

The floors were dirty, and hadn't been broomed before we arrived. There was no cable in any of the rooms as it has not been paid. The sink bowl was cracked. The drawers were all slanted as none were on the track. The desk chair had stains. There was somehow a stain on the ceiling as well. However, it was a spacious room. The stay came with a pool as suggested. And the bed was nicely made and comfy. The complementaries were also nicely placed and appreciated.

Josephine the lady at the desk during the day is super nice. She always tries to help if she can and shows concern for the guests and their needs.
