The location makes it difficult to come in and out due to the heavy traffic. A let down is that there is no free complimentary breakfast. The rooms are above average. Some of my friend's clothes were stolen by the housekeeping staff which is unacceptable. Keep an eye on your stuff when you leave things behind because these thieves have no shame.

Well I just want to say my wife and I really had a good time, amenities were beyond our expectations with a standard 1-king room. Wonderful stay, Beds are comfortable and close to all the shopping stores at the Chula Vista mall. I say John and his staff has pretty good selection of whom he chooses as guest for there's never any problems. Keep up the good work John! And keep me in mind for when you do need a one Excellent Security Guy. Not that you'll ever need one but just to look out for you whenever you are not there.

I realize that some locations are not as big as others, but I believe that the least they could have is an ice machine and coffee in the morning. Overall, it's a decent place to be for the usual low price. As a bonus, it's on a bus line and within walking distance from Starbucks and Jack-in-the-Box from the hotel. This location doesn't have carpet, which is fine, but should at least mop them daily. Bring extra socks to wear inside! As for the pillows, there are some that are flat as pancakes. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, and forgetting a toothbrush or a razor is one of them. It would be nice to have back-ups that the front desk can have to offer instead of just soap and shampoo. (It's not much, but makes a positive difference in the hotel experience.)

I have to say this place is pretty well taken care of and the environment feels just like home. When I first got here I was greeted nicely by the manager an Indian man who's name is John. I thought it was pretty cool he always has a smile and has all the patience in the world. I would definitely come back to this motel all that perhaps I would suggest added in this stupendous place would be perhaps donuts in the morning along with coffee, now that would definitely have me coming back every weekend.

Enjoyed my stay at the Rodeway Inn-Chula Vista. Met all my essentials: Clean room. Had a fridge, microwave. Very nice employees. Felt safe in the area. Close to restaurants. Keep up the good work!

I loved how from first impression the front desk clerk was very professional, had great customer service skills, and very efficient. The room was very clean, nice, and comfy. I love the wooden flooring better than carpet so I will be staying again.

I stayed two nights. When I called to reserve a night, the guy told me it would be about 60 something so I said I will take it. I got there and that same guy said 70 something dollars. I told him that I called earlier and I was told it would be about $65. It was late at night and I was tired (came from Arizona) so I just said take it. It all came to about $89 for one night. The man gave is a little discount but still cost about $85. I stayed another night because I didnt want to look for another place just so the same can happen. There were no trash bags on the trash cans and the remote didn't work very well. The walls are THIN. When I went there, the office guy was trying to get a crazy guy to leave. It is hard to come in and out because it has a small little parking structure.

The area doesn't feel great, but the quality of the hotel was nice. The customer service desk is easy to work with and the rooms are clean. I would easily stay here again next time that I'm in town.
