This establishment DOES NOT adhere to federal standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act in regards to protections for service animals! My client arrived with more than sufficient documentation for their service animal and the establishment tried to charge a fee, which is directly prohibited by the ADA. When I intervened to dispute their illegal practices and educate them about ADA, they cancelled the client's reservation and refused him entry. It's only a matter of time before they find themselves in a very serious and costly lawsuit over these illegal and discriminatory practices.

Excellent location, budget friendly, great for an extended stay. The hotel has no frills but the rooms are big and well equipped with a full kitchen. Make sure you bring your own cooking materials (pots, pans, utensils etc). Also, the staff is so nice! 😊😊😊

Just tried to book a room for Spring 2023 and got the runaround from both Wyndham & the local hotel attendant. Rates are currently set deliberately high to deter new/future reservations but hotel attendant would not tell me why and would not take my reservation over the phone. Asking upwards of 600 USD per night depending upon how you attempt to book for a room which according to Hotwire should cost about 60USD per night. Wyndham rewards booking agent (parent company) told me straight up there is nothing he could do to reduce the nightly rate, completely without wavering and also could not transfer me to the hotel front desk (had to call on my own dime from out of country). Something SUPER sketchy going on there so I'd recommend staying away!!!

Unfortunately I have to give one star. Their rooms are dirty since you arrive, couch had obvious blood splatter stains. The towels looked like they were used to clean the floor and the manager there had the audacity to call my room and ask me to give them back their towels less dirty, How would that even be possible?! Can’t even open your windows because the house keeping there smoke cigarettes right outside the rooms , they literally have their little table setup where they chain smoke, God forbid you ask them for anything. They act like their whole career is on the line. Management is poor there and I doubt it’ll get better anytime soon. I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to smoke outside of the rooms.

Gross. Yet interesting enough it’s not pet friendly. I’ve stayed in much nicer hotels that have pet accommodations. If you pay over $100 it’s a ripoff. Sketchy neighborhood. Room smells old and moldy. I did not shower here, too gross. If you must stay, bring Lysol and a black light.

Extremely recommend Howard Johnson inn and suites in Chula Vista Ca! Like new accommodations, from the carpets, bedding to the curtains and drapes. Modern yet relaxing decor. Spacious rooms, heating and A.C. that kept us comfortable. Convenient kitchenette with microwave and mini-fridge. Excellent location, walking distance from restaurants and easy access to freeway. Fluffy waffles, pastries & good coffee every morning to kick start the day. Superior customer care. Gated with monitored surveillance witch males it safe for the little ones. Overall a great place to stay!

This is one of the most accommodating hotels ive ever stayed in. The gentleman working the front desk (mike)was beyond polite. Extra towels, free late check out and even a slight discount on one of my rooms. There are many hotels in this area, some cheaper but i highly recommend staying at this one...especially when mike is working.

Very nice that they offer suites with kitchenettes. Full refrigerator with freezer. Microwave. And Stovetop. Has full bathtub. Separate sleep area and living area. Needed to be cleaned well before moving in. But overall cool.

This is where Biden is keeping the migrants before he ships them to the rest of the country. Let’s go Brandon!

The reason I selected this hotel was because of its location. I found the staff to be helpful and very nice. The room is hard to describe. Everything in it is very old and it appears to be repurposed. There's a major Gap in the bottom of the front door and it doesn't feel secure. You wouldn't want to walk barefoot because the floors feel funky. Everything did work inside the unit including the two TVs. This was a non-smoking room but I think smoke would smell better than the smell that came out of the AC. It was bad.

As people know, I'm in the worst way around town. When I leave my room, I have unwanted visitors who damage or steal my stuff. There is little flying bugs. I found a cockroach a few days ago. What I thought was helping me up turned out to be tucking me away! Reply: They must have heard my concers as they have chosen not to renew my lease!

We stayed here during San Diego Comic Con weekend and it was great! The room was clean as well as all the linens and towels. We stayed in a suite that had a kitchenette that worked well. I liked that we had 2 flat screen tvs, one in the sitting room and one in the bedroom. I liked the vanity/sink, it was well lit and wide enough for 2 people to use at the same time. I didn't like how small the bathroom was. It was tiny but the tub/shower had great water pressure and temp. The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Overall, I would stay here again!

The rooms had bugs, the service was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. But the location had some good shops around it

The location is great, 5 minutes from the trolley station. Stayed here for comic con. Not a bad decision. The room is nice with all the kitchenette amenities you could ever need (microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and full sink). Small swimming pool, about 5ft deep. The check in process was straight forward and quick, deposit of $100 for security. Gated parking is nice and I enjoyed the air conditioning. The wifi sucks though.

Great staff. The room I got was clean... it just needed some updated furniture. If you want to feel safe while staying in Chula Vista, look no further. I've stayed here before and I will stay again in the future. 9/10 recommended.

Rooms are nice, air conditioning and fridge, microwave all work. The location is good next to the Trolley. Restaurants are close by also. Walmart is not too far if you need to put something in the microwave. It would be nice if there was kitchens in all the rooms with ovens.
