I wish I knew the gentleman's name, but the director and staff here were phenomenal. As with all funerals, it's a delicate time. Add some family drama and it can reach catastrophic emotional levels. Going into the funeral I was very uneasy. However, being the only person who stayed to watch the full burial, it really gave me some peace. Sitting there while the employees put the earth all back together, we ended up chatting a bit and the staff were absolutely lovely. They let me place flowers on the casket and even offered to let me place the first shovel of dirt. They also cleaned off another nearby family member's plaque and uncovered a vase. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness on such an awful day.

My brother and father are buried at Forest Lawn Covina Hills. My main complaint is the maintenance on the grounds. Grass is ALWAYS over grown. It looks maintained when you drive through the main gate, once you pass that, it’s a totally different story. Several areas you can’t see the grave markers because of the overgrown grass. I’ll call there to get the headstone grass trimmed and get an attitude. Usual reply is we’re big and it takes 6 weeks to cut the grass. Unacceptable! People pay a lot of money for their loved ones to be put to rest at Forest Lawn. You can do better than this Forest Lawn. You charge so much to have it look this way. Get your act together. Be compassionate for peoples loved ones.

My beloved brother is buried at forest lawn. We went to visit him and take him flowers. We sat with him for about 10 minutes...( I brought my 3 toddlers ) as we walked back to the car we realized they broke into my car and took 2 purses. Spending 4000 in 30 minutes. All forest lawn could do is create a incident report. I was told it happens alot yet no cameras added ? No extra security? How can I feel safe visiting My dear brother with my 3 kids.

Planning for final resting place is a delicate and personal topic for some people. My husband and I have open minds with this topic though. After all, you should be able to have the final choices. We finally scheduled to meet up with one of the advisers. We were assigned to Emily Wong. First time I spoke with Emily over the phone, she made me feel at ease. Meeting her in person… she is professional and personable. She took her time in showing us the properties, listened to our needs and preferences. She explained everything in detail, showed us options for financing. My husband and I were planning just to look that day, but we ended up purchasing our final resting place instead. It’s a good feeling for us parents that our kids will not be burdened in making these arrangements when the time comes. Thank you , Emily for the great service!

Beautiful cemetery My grandma and Uncle are buried here. They sit on Top of a hill overlooking the City. I love visiting the cemetery and get a peaceful view of the entire city from where my uncle and grandma are buried 🙏

In the most traumatic of times, Covina Hills Forest Lawn came alongside my family & I literally lifting us up out of the trenches back to life. A special shoutout of GRATITUDE to our Memorial Counselor, Albert Gameros & Planning Advisor Miyun (Happy) Hapenney for going the extra mile in honoring my father's memory with the most beautiful USN services our family & guests were privileged to be a part of. Everything promised in the Heritage Package was delivered on-time with professionalism & dignity. Albert went above & beyond our expectations arranging that last 'ride' for my father in a horse drawn carriage with full military honors. Since my Dad was a proud veteran of 22+ years, he was a patriot that enjoyed a parade. Watching his flag draped casket in that glass coach gallantly being galloped through the park with the procession of our loved ones following it brought many a tear to our eyes. May GOD BLESS the staff, crew & all involved with making this farewell a cherished memory & BLESSING to us, the Family of CPO Manuel F. Rillera. We are eternally grateful.

Beautiful services, beautiful environment, peaceful atmosphere. I have THREE relatives now buried here (updating my review from 2 to 3) and as undesirable as it is to have to come in the first place (unless just stopping by to pay respects), having the funeral services done here makes it all the more comforting during such a hard time for me and my family. If they had an option for funeral guests to use some of their wifi network service for when on site (currently only password protected for, I'm assuming, staff only) then that would make it a perfect 5/5 stars for me. I just found it hard to navigate the online map without any Internet since my phone had no data and I couldn't find my cousin's grave until I could find someone with a hotspot I could get onto. (Me and some family members wanted to visit his grave after my grandpa's funeral services ended last time I had been there) If I could make it 4.5/5 right now, however, I would - because I do feel like they deserve more than 4 but just not quite to the 5 yet. 💐 Rip - Cousin SGT. I had the opportunity to met with Shoghik Mary Aghayan at Forest Lawn, Covina. She was kind, helpful, and never pushed for anything I didn't ask for. I appreciated her patience as I chose the tablet for my father, as well as showing me around the cemetery to choose just the right plot.

Buying a cemetery property was nearly a year long process for us. The advisor had been patiently explaining the process, showing the available properties, and providing the pricing and payment options to us. He made the entire experience as painless as possible.

Linda Wang was very courteous and helpful. She introduced the available products for us to consider she answered our questions in great detail. We're highly satisfied with her service.

My advisor showed me several niches, explained the prices and I chose one near my parents. She explained the pricing and advised to make payments which will help a lot. Very compassionate and understanding.

My overall experience was great. My advisor Emily Wong did an amazing job in taking care of my needs, driving me around showing me the plots and guiding me and she helped me a lot with making the right decision. Thank you Emily. The memorial services for my husband was very organized and we were blessed to have been assigned to this beautiful Church of Heritage. The staff members were very courteous and helpful.

Monica was beyond helpful, patient, informative, and kind. She and I connected very well because of a similar story we have regarding our mothers. I started pre -planning my mom's funeral because when the time comes, I want to be able to grieve and not have to make funeral/burial arrangements. Glad Monica helped us through it.

My sister and I came to see a burial plot for my Mom. We met with an advising counselor to help us understand the options available for our family's needs. Lucy was wonderful! We are so grateful for her patience and understanding. You can tell she really cares about her clients and loves her job. She was so kind to answer and clarify all our questions. Marisol was absolutely delightful. She was very professional and sensitive to all of my questions and concerns. I was there to pre-plan. I wasn’t sure that I was making the right decision. They are both knowledgeable with their work, patient enough to answer all our questions thrown to them. Giving us the full details, very well said. My wife and I arrived 20 minutes earlier than our scheduled appointment time but we were able to quickly meet with Emily Wong, Planning Advisor. Ms. Wong was an exceptional listener, personable and very knowledgeable of all the offerings at Forest Lawn. She made us very comfortable in talking about all of the personal items around selecting the different features they provided. Emily was a great help in answering all of our questions, a brief tour of the grounds and starting all the paperwork for burial plots, tablets, coffins, etc. We set up a follow-up appointment with Emily to continue our selections of a number of items and get a larger tour of the property.

We were greeted at the door and assisted immediately. Our customer care agent was both friendly and professional. She made our experience pleasant given the circumstances. She also had the lawn care guy oil and trim the grass around my brother’s headstone prior to our visit which we greatly appreciated.
