Worst Gym I've ever been in. I went for personal training with Coach Dan, the only real reason I stayed. Amazing training and wild results! As far as the gym goes though, everything was always broken. In my 4 months going there, the Men's Sauna was working for a week and never available. For the the heavy y price of $50 a month with no sauna and constant broken cardio machines it wasn't worth it. If you're cool with that then enjoy but I don't recommend. Bathroom had roaches...broken plates and rusty weights throughout. Just not a great experience. Only cool thing is that they are open 24 hrs for members and you can get in before 5 am when most gyms open.

Gym is dirty, yoga mats dirty, say their open 24 hours but no one there in early morning. When I went to cancel they charged $118 , two $59 separate charges. They have old cardio equipment, I am better off going to chuze fitness then this over priced dump.

Gym is currently refusing to cancel my membership. I keep getting calls stating that my membership is due despite the fact that I have put in writing for them to cancel my membership. Their phone number listed on Google and on their website does not work or belongs to someone who is not affiliated with them. The only way to contact them so far is either in person or writing a letter, and sometimes apparently writing a letter doesn't work either. I no longer live in the area due to being put on orders that have taken me out of the area and I have informed them that I need to cancel my membership and yet they still try to take money out of my account. They don't seem to really care whether or not you live in the area, they just care that you have a membership with them and so they automatically think they are entitled to money. 0/10, would not recommend this gym. They are greedy, lazy, and entitled.

Charges are insane, $130 start fee + $70 monthly fee. Also have a 30 day cancellation window so you have to pay for another month if you want to cancel. Gym equipment is also super old and in terrible shape, plus they don’t have much equipment/stations.

I've been going to IB Fitness for a little over 3 years and I couldn't be happier. I love the 24/7 access and it has all the equipment to meet my needs. I'm bummed that they had to close down again, but Marina and her staff are always nice and try to come up with ways to make sure we're getting the most out of our memberships. I read the issues with freezing memberships and I don't see where they are coming from. It clearly states in the contract they require 30 days advance notice to cancel. I had potentially needed to freeze my account a couple years ago for surgery I didn't end up having and the Front Desk staff was more than willing to accommodate me - it had nothing to do with me still being Active Duty at the time. If you want a great local gym that's not full of meatheads (most of time) and you can just do your own thing, this is the place.

They cancelled my membership in such an unprofessional way, she sent me a voicemail and I could tell she was being sarcastic and laughing. I was overdue but I told them I could pay whatever money I owe I just didn't have my card with me and she told me I had to leave so I couldn't work out I've been going to this gym almost 2 years, the way they managed everything was unprofessional.

Awesome spot I highly recommend it if you're thinking about it. I am switching over from 24hr fitness and I like it a lot better already. Bathroom/lockers 1000% better than 24. Good music and solid equipment I think I've found my new 2nd home. This gym just feels very comfy in general😎

I have been a member for over 6 years now. The owner Nick and staff including Selena are very approachable, they always greet me. The gym has fresh air flowing through the gym. Plenty of equipment to work with. I’m always able to complete my workouts without waiting on others. The 24hr access is awesome. Before you sign up make sure to understand the cancelation policy so you do become frustrated and disappointed. I couldn’t help but notice through the years members requesting to cancel and walking away dissapointed.

Great gym great staff and they never tried upselling me. The owner seemed very involved in making sure everyone was happy and taken care of. Can’t suggest this gym enough.

I love going here as I get off work at midnight and can still come by and do what I need and not worry about being rushed. Great place to work out!

It's now high end 24 hour fitness arena. But it is a place to get a good workout with owners and clients who care about the cleanliness of the facility. The staff is also very attentive to keeping the gym in good working order. One improvement need a bigger spot. But other that awesome gym

Great out of the way gym in Imperial Beach, personally worked with Dillon who was very friendly and helpful to get set up for membership. Very convenient having a 24hr gym available!

Easy access as it’s on the ground level and there are plenty of doors. Adequate cardio equipment. Not a lot of machines. Kind of a watered down cross-fit type room available. Kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells…Friendly staff. Loyal patrons.

Honestly it's a pretty decent gym, it's got most of what you need and everything works, its alot of old equipment but it does the trick! They keep the place pretty clean and always have towels out for the customers.The 24 hour access is the key though especially if you dont have a det schedule you can get your work out in late or first thing in the morning, plus they offer month to month if you are here for travel or TDY

IB FItness! I love this gym! Starting with the staff, they know what the hell they're doing from ownership to front desk. This place is kept very clean and have gone through many upgrades on equipment and overall design in the gym. I have a 7 year old daughter so its important to me to have good family atmosphere. Kid's club is awesome! My daughter loves this place and all the people who work here. I love the equipment, there's never a wait, the gym stays pretty steady all day long. Your average member could be anywhere from the teens to 90 years old. I live in Carlsbad CA and I still choose to keep my membership 50 miles away at IB Fitness because that's what value means to me. 24 hours. Can get pretty overwhelming at busy hours but great because you can just come back later. Has a sauna. Has CrossFit equipment and a room.
