As you can tell from most reviews, the reviews or more about the people's experience here than the dogs? I wonder how dogs ever survived without us picking up their poop? Anyway this park is phenomenal, from the dog point of view that is!! Except for that far back corner? There seems to be a bunch of those sticker bushes back there, you know the ones they have those stickers that look like the old Tyrannosaurus rex head? But as long as they stay away from back there there are Hills to run up there are squirrels to chase there are Hills to run down there are squirrels to chase there are Corners to run back down through there are bushes to hide in there is everything here but water? And places for people to sit? And there are some holes in the gates, but with the concrete Gully right beside the park the hole in the fence only means that during some times of the year there's a river accessible!! Remember it's all in how you look at it. But one thing that has confused me and continues to confuse me, is people with regular sized dogs coming to the dog park and seeing young lady and then taking their dog into the small dog park and then leaving with it? Does she really look that scary? Or are there some people just that neurotic? One very nice and super convenient thing is that they have actually printed the signs going into the dog park in multiple languages, so everybody can read them on the way in. As you can clearly see young lady was doing! She's all proper like that!

One and foremost, whether there’s waste bags or not for our dogs waste, as the person taking the dog there owner or not, it’s our responsibility to pick up after them. Bring your own waste bags so you don’t have an excuse to not pick up the waste. We are a family of six plus our fur baby, the dog park and playground have been lots of fun for the whole family. We kept our fur baby in the small dogs side as he’s a pup and just started coming out so he’s still timid but was playing great along the fence with the bigger dogs on the other side of the fence, big dog side. I love the hills and running space for our fur babies. Dog parks are all dirt so what I did was take everyone to the dog park first, then to the jungle gym area. Thank you, City Of Chula Vista for maintaining this space for our fur babies… Oh and for the courtesy waste bags! Will definitely be visiting this park again :)

Nice place to take Fido. Pro tip, take your dog to the small pen first to see how aggressive the larger dogs are, this saved my pooch a few times with weak dog owners.

Hidden behind the tennis courts! 2 different areas for large and small dogs. Middle of the week during the day no dogs poor pollita lol but great area to explore. Some tennis balls for dogs to play with. In small dog area there is only 1 bench under the tree. Bring water for your dogs there is a bowl but no where to fill it. By the entrance into the dog area someone put up baskets with ziplock bags to clean up after the pups. But other than that bring your own. Hopefully our next visit she can make doggie friends!

Eucalyptus Park - Chula Vista... Shhhh!! What a true diamond in the rough! A tiny hideaway area away from the main park and streets. A place where dogs can be dogs and just run wilx.. In packs.. as they were intended to. A nice place to sun yourself and chit-chat with friends.. doglovers.. from all across the globe. And well maintained by the city of Chula Vista.. "Beautiful View"!

It is very nice. The park is on a slope. Small dog park, fenced, leash free is at the top. At the very bottom, the park is next to a shopping center (Starbucks and a taco shop, among other shops There are spots in the park with a very nice view 😀.

Unfortunately some displaced individuals live or stay there. I got to talk to a few and it was eye opening. Great little park with a little bit of everything.

I use the toilet at the park. Thinking of taking my kitten for a visit. See if I can trainer her to walk with me like Miss Kitty did without a leash. And to come on command. Didn't need to train Miss Kitty. She was with me without any training.

Park is a decent size but there are no trash cans inside the dog area, and no water inside the dog area. There are no bowls inside the dog area, must pack in own bowls etc. There are two benches inside the entire area. Residents bring very aggressive dogs to the park and shout at you that you can't come in with your dog because their aggressive dog needs park time. This has happened at least 4 times and there just isn't any accountability here. Homeless camp out at the park regularly and cook near the dog area. No issues. Just keep head on a swivel. There is no monitoring at this park of any kind.

Good little place to go let the dog get some excersie where it's fenced but the large dog side is un fenced toward a hill. Also the only doggy fountain for water is outside of the fenced area across the tennis courts.

Great park for the family, the only inconvenience we find is the trash that people sometimes leave.

The kids love this place! Lots of play area. A BBall court & baseball area for the kids. There are plenty of picnic tables. Ice cream people visit frequently.

Some of the stuff is missing pieces.but wasn't filthy or to crowded. There was Pervy old man watching all the kids play, who had no kids just sat and literally turned his head all the way around to follow some little girls. Wish there was more security.

Never found the dog park. To me a dog park is a closed in area, what they have has Gates missing and there are exits / entrances dogs can freely roam through

Great fun for my dog. Bit too many blind spots and big bushes for 5 stars but totally fine if your pup has good recall/you pay attention. It is fully fenced in tho. Make sure to bring your own bags and water 👍

In the past week, all the swings are back and the slides are back including one that I have never seen before but is geared to the under five crowd, yeah! My daughter is happy with all the restored equipment. Previous review: I have been visiting this park the last 3 years and I've watched it decline. This was a great park because it was geared for 5 and under but I have watched a big slide, 2 swings, 1 tunnel connecting the ramp to the large structure, and the 5 pole balance section. All these things have been taken out and not replaced. Chula Vista has done good at getting new play equipment but nothing geared towards the under 5 crowd. Often the bathrooms (mens side) are missing tiolet paper, I wish there was a family bathroom so that I feel more comfortable taking my daughter into the restroom. I have been lucky enough to have some food donation come and give me food for Thanksgiving and local police come by during Christmas time to give toys from thier trunks. I have seen some great pets (a toucan and a tortoise) frequent the park and lots of parties. The ice cream trucks can be expensive, I recommend going to Aldi and bring your own and share with the other kids (just ask a parent first)

Great place to bring your pup's. Mostly dirt and hillsides to walk and explore. One of a few good dog parks in Chula vista

Extremely cleaner from what I remembered the restrooms are kept up and the playground setup doesn't have a lot of repairs needed like some other local parks

Decent park with lots of room to run, but not a lot of grass. Homeless appear to be living along the fence edge but left us alone while we were there.

👍👍 This dog park is awesome! This is the ONLY dog park that I feel comfortable enough to let my dog off the leash. I have had bad experiences at the balboa park, north park, and etc. Let's just say people don't look after their dogs. On the other hand you have Rohr Park, you will have a great here! My...

👍👍 Nice and clean park. They have a section for small dogs to be in which is amazing! It is at the end of the mall by planet fitness. The park itself was really clean, they have doggy pop bags in a few different places. There is also a water fountain and a few dog bowls that anyone can fill up and move...
