We had a great time kayaking today! Staff was awesome and it’s always fun to be out on the water. Chula Vista Bay has the warmest water I’ve ever felt in the San Diego area!

Never used these guys but when we first started boarding, we came to the marina and these guys are always out here. Super nice and helpful. I'd recommend cause it looks like they really get people to enjoy being out there.

First Michael and Jay were Awesome. They provided great instruction were patient and had a great sense of humor. I went here in chula vista because its easier to park and easier than driving to mission bay all the time or PB for lessons. They provided vest, board and the $25 was well worth the 90 minute instruction.

A thorough, informative, educational session, and so much fun are what you will get from Micheal and his team at Chula Vista Water Sports!! We had such a wonderful Saturday morning there, Micheal covered all the safety, techniques one needs to know as well as the information of San Diego bay and local birds. And most importantly, he got me over my fear threshold and get to really enjoy the experience. Will come back again for other services they have to offer there with friends and family.

This was an amazing experience. The instructor was incredibly friendly, prepared, and helpful. They assisted us in understanding how to use the equipment and even getting us in the water. At the end, they gave us complimentary donuts. The experience was so affordable, especially for an hour of kayaking. 10/10 would recommend!

Mike is an amazing paddleboarding instructor and operator - he was super laid back and pleasant, explained the basics for us well but also quickly so that we could get in the water! It was a super fun experience! On top of that, I actually lost my glasses when in the water in the Bay, and Mike took time out on his own after I'd given up on it and left to search and somehow find them! I really appreciate him doing everything to make this a great time for me and my friends. Mike and the whole team at Chula Vista are awesome and I would definitely recommend them! Thanks

If you are thinking about kayaking in the San Diego area, I highly recommend Chula Vista Water Sports! We rented kayaks from them and the process was smooth, simple, and affordable. They were very helpful when reviewing basic kayak instructions and safety. We enjoyed it so much, I will definitely do this again.

Excellent service! Rented two kayaks on Father’s Day and got to paddle around the huge marina and check out all the cool boats. The water was extremely choppy out in the bay, so this was a great alternative. 10/10 and we will be back!

Awesome time today. The gentleman (can’t remember name) was very friendly, polite and helpful. I knew how to kayak but he would definitely take the time to help you out. He answered all my questions and helped me pick the best place to kayak for what I was looking for. I took my backpack which he offered a bag to put them in but I didn’t need it. I had a lot of fun, bit of a work out but was totally worth it.

Mike was awesome and super helpful! We were unable to go out our original day because of the weather and he made it easy for us to rebook. When we finally made it out he was extremely nice and helpful. He even helped my friend inflate her paddle board that she brought along with her. Couldn’t recommend coming here and we are excited to go back! Thank you Mike!

My husband and I had such an awesome time! Michael was a great host and answered any questions we had. We found out he grew up near us and knew some of the same people , small world! We even got to see a turtle in the bay! Such a fun time, we will be going back!

We had our 12 year old son's birthday party at Bayside park and incorporated Chula Vista water sports kayaking into it. Michael was flexible on our reservation time as guest arrived. Our group rented two person kayaks and the megalodon which was perfect. The all the kids had a blast. We will definitely be renting from them again. Very fun experience on the westside of Chula Vista.

Michael and his team are fantastic! We tried to kayak twice but he told us it was too windy (which it was) and recommended we come back early. I’m so glad we listened! My daughter and i rented 2 single kayaks and headed out on smooth water. We saw so many birds (I’m a birder) and had a beautiful morning kayaking in the bay. We will definitely come back. I highly recommend coming here and going out on the bay! Michael will make sure you are safe and have fun.

A simply lovely experience! I had never kayaked before, though, as a youth I had canoed, rowed, motored and sailed. I have been walking and riding past their launch point for the last year and decided it was time I gave it a go. So glad I did. Sitting out in the middle of the bay, the quiet, the waves, the birds. Lovely. Next time though, I think I'll wear bicycle shorts as, being a large gal, I got a bit wet trying to get out of the kayak. They had a wet bag to stow your stuff in and a cup holder for your water bottle! The gentleman gave me a few useful pointers and off I went. I actually went much further than I intended. When I realized that I was capable enough, I just kept paddling. This is a great activity to do by yourself and probably with others. Alone, I felt no need to be competitive or to try and keep up. If you're hesitant, I say "just go for it", you won't regret it!

My family stayed at a nearby RV resort and decided to rent the two person Sea-Doo for an hour and had a great time. My wife and two kids had a blast. Staff did a good job explaining the craft's operation and they do a good job monitoring activities to make sure everyone is safe. They allowed us some extra time beyond the hour to allow my wife to ride alone and didn't charge us extra. They were very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend them of you are interested in some water sports. We'll definitely be booking again next time we stay nearby.

I can't thank Michael enough for the service he provided today. I, and my three students, had never tried out paddleboarding before, so we weren't sure what to expect. Michael had such a great, inviting, engaging and passionate energy. He gave us a quick lesson on paddleboarding -- it was simple, easy to remember, and it covered every sceanario. My kids and I had a great time--lots of screaming laughter out on the water as we played around and tried to stay on the boards. Afterwards, Michael ran down to the water, and helped us take few photos as a momento. I definitely plan on going paddleboarding again, and I'll definitely come here. Thank you so much, Michael!!

Website is very intuitive/easy to navigate, we had a group of 8 with no experience and all had a great time! So so good for the price, and really appreciated Mike's patience and positive attitude! Highly recommend, and can't wait to visit again soon :)

Michael is amazing! I was scared at first to try paddle boarding. But with Michael’s help, I wasn’t afraid! My daughter and I had a great time! My only regret is not tipping him!!

Michael was such an awesome host! He was very kind and made us feel comfortable. We went paddle boarding and it was a bit windy on the day we went out, but he made us feel safe and confident & was informative and educational. This experience was definitely a great value for the price, and I would recommend 10/10!
