Nice little brewery. I like the fact that they give military discounts. It's not too big, they do have large tables great for large parties. The beer on tap is well rounded. the only thing missing here is a kitchen. You are allowed to bring outside food in, so that's a bonus. The glassware was clean, and so was the establishment. The beer tender was friendly, all and all this is a nice little joint worth visiting.

Great place to have a well deserved beer or seltzer after work. Recommend to tone down the music as potential customers were waking away after hearing the type and volume level of music being played.

Love this Brewery. Veteran owned. Good people. Oak and Anchor BBQ serving that fire Brisket and extras here. Have tried several of their brews and have to say they are fantastic all around. If you come to Chula Vista Village then make sure to make Chula Vista Brewery a destination.

I recently visited Chula Vista brewery, hoping for a fun evening with friends, good beer, and some great music. Unfortunately, my experience was completely ruined by their jukebox app, or should I say, the lack of music. I was excited to use the jukebox app to select some of my favorite songs. However, it quickly became apparent that something was seriously wrong. None of the songs I picked ever played. It was like my selections were disappearing into the void, never to be heard. I tried multiple times, thinking it might be a temporary glitch, but it persisted throughout the evening. It wasn't just frustrating; it made the atmosphere feel flat and uninspiring. The whole point of a jukebox is to enhance the experience, but here, it did the exact opposite. I approached the staff to see if they could resolve the issue, but they seemed just as clueless as I was. There was no attempt to address the problem or provide any assistance. In the end, what should have been a memorable night turned into a disappointing and music-less affair. It's a shame that the brewery couldn't deliver on something as basic as playing the songs I selected. I won't be returning, and I would caution others to think twice if they're expecting a jukebox experience here.

We love CV Brewery, tonight the DJ just bombed, read the crowd, totally missed opportunities, soo empty for a Friday night, music was not on point. The biker across the street had better music...sorry bro, nothing personal but ur mixes sucked!

In addition to the brewery being great, War Planes Hazy Pale Ale is a great drink! It is now available in Trader Joe's and featured (CV Brewery did a wonderful job) on PBS last night! Go Chula Vista

Awesome place and vibe! Beers were excellent. Definitely stands out as an awesome brewery in a town filled of great breweries. The New Zealand IPA was especially good and differentiated from West and east coast IPAs.

The 2 veers i had were amazing and the service was great.

I love this spot. The band on Saturday night was awesome. Prices are good here. And the bbq they had in the back was good. I will say, the system kinda sucks if you are sitting on the bar. The bartenders serve the line first and your left waiting at the bar without a drink for a while, until you can flag someone down. Even then, you have to wait. You're almost better off waiting in line. That's the reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars.

It was very nice to visit my hometown again and find out that there's a brewery there. It's a great place to drink craft beers 🍻. There love for good beer and for the hometown become obvious when you walk in and take your first sip! Cheers to you brothers and to all those who go there for a drink! 🍻

Good beer, but the music is way too loud, it’s uncomfortable. It’s difficult to have a conversation in there. Tbh It’s the kind of place you go in for just a quick beer if the other places are crowded because of the noise.

Awesome Chicano-esque brewery. In the heart of downtown Chula Vista. Not many hazys on tap but the Mountain Fog was very crisp. Ample seating. I find Chula Vista Brewery to be one of my more favorite breweries in Downtown Chula Vista because it also has live music other breweries in this area don't offer as much. They're also conveniently located next door to The Balboa South. Update 03/2023: they were charging $10.00 cover tab on a Saturday night. Never have I heard of cover fee at a BREWERY. Take nothing away from their beers, that was simply very off from a brewery.

The place and staff were awesome. The beers were a big swing and a miss. Browner than Ivan was a solid brew, but not the others we tried. Beautiful view needs a different yeast.

I loved the 90s rap/hip hop background music and welcoming atmosphere. The horchata lager and nitro stout were smooth and delicious. The horchata was just slightly sweet with a nice finish. The pineapple seltzer was out of this world with the sweet and spicy rim. As an Air Force girl, I appreciate the Navy vibe.

I’ve been coming here for a while now and I can say I’m pretty happy to find a great bar that’s not in my usual neighborhood. Drinks are always cold and delicious, the new “children of the fog” is great! Bathrooms are clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have cool events throughout the week. I wish they would mix the food up every now and then, but can’t complain too much when it’s good bbq, I’ve just had everything on the menu already. Great beer, friendly service, clean facilities. I’ll be back!

Beer is great. Only giving four stars do to the slow "Slow" customer service... I waited about 10 minutes to order and another 15 to get my drinks. Dont trip if you see 2 charges on your phone... They hold one for a few days but it clears. There on a Saturday evening.

When I go to a brewery, I want the beer to be excellent, and the service special. CVB takes care of both. I recommend an Imperial (20 oz) pint of Darker than Ivan while you relax on the patio, possibly with some BBQ from the street side vendor. You won't be disappointed!

An absolute genuine place. Hands down the best brewery I've been to in a long time. Like clock work I go every Wednesday and sometimes twice a week. My wife and I love that they are awesome with kids. The Eastlake branch treats our kids as if they are family. OG location, just as good. Thank you for making a place that has awesome beer and makes it feel like I'm having a drink at home. I will always refer people to CVB. Thank you. A forever customer who always represents CVB with a hat or a shirt.
