No problems renting cars from here. I’ve rented several times from this location and I had no problems, cars are always clean and functional. Deposits gets back in 2-3 days after return, one time my deposit got back same day.

I would give this place 0 star if that was an option. I had reserved a 16’ rental truck and a hour before they close, they called me to tell me the vehicle that was confirmed for me was not returned. Jose was the individual that called me to tell me that I can call customer service and figure it out because he doesn’t know what to do. That’s all he kept saying, “I don’t know what to do.” As an employee of the company it should be their job to figure out a solution and not tell a customer to figure it out themselves. He was very unprofessional and I took it upon myself to contact customer service since he obviously couldn’t do it or want to do it. Contacting customer service pretty much had no solution for me either. All they could tell me was they sent an urgent message to the inventory manager and I should expect a call back within a hour. After a hour I called customer service again and they said I wouldn’t get a call back because they are all closed already…. So clearly the employees give out false information or don’t even know their own hours. I called customer service first thing in the morning and all they could tell me was they will send another message to the inventory manager and I will get a call within a hour, no more than 2. I was even flexible and told them I would take a 12’ truck if available. Never ever received a call back. I received a call from someone at this location name Cesar. I told him the situation and he said he can call around and see what stores may have a vehicle. Apparently no stores in the area had a truck. He said he will contact the inventory manager and call me back. Cesar also, never called me back afterwards. At this point it was 30 minutes before I was scheduled to pick up the rental truck that was “confirmed.” Luckily I was able to contact Uhaul and they saved the day. Don’t waste your time with Budget. Most useless customer service ever. Rather pay a little bit more for a reliable service. I would never ever recommend Budget to anyone. Save yourself the headache!

Credit card ONLY for rental of a vehicle . You have to be in debt and add to your debt to be able to earn the privilege of renting a car . Ridiculous .

I rented a truck to move my house hold items two weeks ahead of schedule. I go to the place 1 week before pick up to confirm everything is good and the manager (Cesar) says yes we’re all set. 1 day before my scheduled pick up I get a call and I am being told the truck will not be available. How do we go from we’re all set to sorry we don’t have a truck last min. I will never rent from this place again. Worst experience ever!!!!

Friendly and quick service. Enjoyed driving the Nissan Maxima I rented while my mechanic worked on my car. Good prices. Rent for longer, its cheaper!

Have rented cars from this agency many times, usually for two months each time. Friendly, professional, helpful. They even remembered me after a five year absence.

The representatives onsite are really GOOD. Both reps who helped me were courteous and had a good sense of humor. They were also fast and professional. The rate was very good and the car was immaculate.

I am Extremely Happy with the service I have received from Budget Car Rental. It started with My pickup at LAX. The Man who helped Me was very courteous, friendly and helpful. At the Chula Vista location, it was more of the same. Friendly, courteous and helpful. I wanted to extend My rental for another 10 days. I thought it would be a long, uncomfortable process - I was done in less than 5 minutes. No hassle, no worries, only smiles, positive vibes and an incredible deal! We made reservations for a rental car. Come to find out their Credit card machine does not do chip readings. They only do card swiping.

I've had quite a bit of direct communications with this property - Cesar in particular - and they are terrific! Cesar and Jose have gone beyond to help me, and I really appreciate it.

Car drove great, jeep compass, drove 2,625 miles over 6 days, my issues were with the vehicles comfort. Not happy with customer service, she was hard to understand and she didn't understand what I was trying to say either.

This place is awesome!! We have been coming here for a long time and the people working there are great and always get us going in a great vehicle!! Highly recommend going here for a rental car!!

I rent from this Budget Car Rental office about every month, sometimes for a one-day bit of errand-running and sometimes for trips out of town. The people working there are always on top of things! I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. My cars are always ready to go, clean, and up to date. Often I am offered an upgrade. The staff seem to remember me and I enjoy chatting a bit and still getting on the road quickly. Nice variety of cars - I like to try out different models each time.

Customer service was nice and friendly. Family enjoyed the ride and were comfortable in the car in our trip. They are amazing.
