Terrible service. Very rude, very bad at communicating what’s going on at the post office. Place needs to more organized. 1st. My package was sent on the wrong route, supposed to be sent later that day... Never arrived 2nd. NEXT DAY, Called back, took forever to pickup. “Sorry about your package, we will have a carrier too you in 20-30 mins...” NEVER ARRIVED. 3rd. NEXT DAY. Called AGAIN, and AGAIN. Finally picked up and she just tried to make it MY fault my package wasn’t delivered? Nah Go work somewhere else if you can’t handle working at a mail office. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Learn how to deliver mail properly. Jesus. And still, my package has not been received.

This post office is a complete chaos to begin with; administrators can never help you, they always have a bad attitude. The cashiers all tired do not want to do anything, if they have to review a package for the client they do not know the information and frankly do not want to do it and knowing all of them that this is their job. The team that is responsible por putting the mail in the mailboxes like to make the mail wrong, dozens of times I have let them know and they do not care👎🏻, it seems that they worked for free. If you do not like your job look for another, there are thousands of people who would do their job much better. Post office researchers should check this place, because frankly they do it very badly. A two star ⭐️ only because I have lost my mail several times and the only thing they tell me is: report it and they know that the mail will not pay you any insurance always have to win.

One star is one too many!!! As much as the general public have extremely low expectations from USPS, this particular branch is a bread apart. I have been forced to face "managers" at this location, whose IQ's are lower than their ages and my problems have never been solved. WHY IS THIS BRANCH NOT SHUT DOWN YET?!

This is the fifth time the mail carrier delivered my package to another mailbox. This lady needs to be investigated. Very careless. I’m just done!! I order some perfumes for Christmas and once again I got a text message that was delivered to my mail box. Went to go check it and is not there. Once again I will need to file a claim. If I can give a Zero I would. The office too, they are so rude and of no help.

Im not familiar with the post office because i hardly go. I was dropping off a package with a paid label and there was a long line and I stood in it but I noticed there was a sign that said drop off but everything was in post office boxes so I wasn't sure if I needed a receipt or if there was a process so I politely asked a male clerk when he wasn't busy talking to the customer but he ignored me the 1st time (so I thought maybe he didn't hear me) and after the 2nd attempt he rudely replied "can't you see I'm trying to help a customer, what do you want?" I was like wow.. "I just wanted to know if I could leave this here or if I needed a receipt from .".. then he replies "yes!yes!" While waving his hands good bye. I'm freaking never coming here again. He did not need to be that rude.

It's 4 pm PT. I have called 6 times and the phone just rings after the canned message states someone will be with you shortly. They figured out how to not deal with people by phone - ignore the call and don't pick up. The absolute worst. I called because the carrier doesn't know what it means when the flag is up on the mailbox and instead stuff mail in the box without taking the birthday card I'm sending. Definitely not the first time they don't want to pick up mail.

Most of the employees that I have encountered at this post office majorly lack customer service skills. Despite the bitterness and poor attitudes, I had never had an issue with sending or receiving mail until recently. A couple of weeks ago, I ordered something through Amazon that was shipped through USPS. I was expecting to have it delivered two days later. On the expected delivery date, I received a notification telling me that the mail carrier attempted to deliver the package but was unsuccessful. I live in an apartment building so it is standard that big packages are dropped in the office. There wasn’t any reason it should’ve been marked as undeliverable. Two days later they “attempted” again and were unsuccessful for the second time. I was left with a pick-up slip to bring to their location. Once I spoke to someone the next day, I was told they couldn’t find the package (mind you, this package is the size of a large flat screen tv). I waited for fifteen minutes while they looked and went home empty handed. Later that day I received a phone call saying that it was found and that I could pick it up the next business day. Today I get up to the desk, hand the slip to an employee and she goes back to look for it. She comes back a minute later and silently hands the slip back to me and passes me off to another employee. Without a word spoken to me, he attempts to look for the package for ~5 minutes and fortunately was able to locate it. Nothing was said to apologize for their inability to provide even the slightest bit of decent service. As I walked to my car with the package I noticed that the tape at the top was completely cut open, telling me that they had opened my package. Once getting home, I realized that things were missing, most likely due to them rummaging through it themselves. At this point I have no energy left to deal with them. If you have an option, do yourself a favor and drive a couple more miles to a different location. (Half of the employees are also not wearing face masks, but face shields instead. People with even the tiniest bit of common sense know that face shields are not protecting anyone without pairing it with a face mask. As a government employee I would think that proper PPE would be mandatory for them)

Dyed yellow hair worker named Kathy shouted at me. I asked her a question nicely about a purchase and she yells "OMGGG" in deep anger, the whole office heard her. Other customers have said issue with this women.

This is one of the worst post office in San Diego ever. I don't know if she's a clerk or supervisor but she doesn't even try to listen to customer. I feel bad for residents who have to come to this post office for service. If you can choose a post office to get a service, go to another post office. This post office needs to be shut down and replaced for employees who have good customer service.

I know the post office is a hard place to work and I know those behind the counter have to deal with all different types of people. However in the three years I have been at this post office I have very rarely left feeling that I received respect and common courtesy from those behind the counter. Sometimes I feel like they find pleasure in making you feel dumb for not understanding a particular process. I think the management here can really step up in encouraging and promoting courtesy and respect toward customers.

I went in and asked nicely about a package that I left 10 days ago and the lady was very rude (blonde, eyeglasses), I needed help to know what happened or how to track my package and she just interrupted me with "didn't you listen to what I told you" I tried to explain to her but she just told me that The package is no longer in their facilities and they cannot do anything, - which is not the first time that packages have been lost there- she responded. It didn't solve anything for me and the tracking number doesn't show that my package left the facility. I left with no information about my package she refused to call on her supervisor. :(

Maricar very rude tone and demeanor. Called me stupid and mentioned my child in the dispute. I didn’t know priority mail stopped making shipping labels? Treat people how you want to be treated.I was very calm and nice to her but in return Maricar refused serve me. Mind you I was shipping care pacakage to troops.

I live 3mins away, but would much rather drive 12mins to the Bonita’s post office because here the customer service is horrible . This Kathy (yellow hair lady) is always in a bad mood, like dude all I’m trying to do is send a care package . The others are ok, but they always have an attitude as well .

I paid online for a change of address yet they keep sending my mail to the sender. They are not forwarding my mail to my current mailing address. I went to their office in person to speak to them about this issue but i was helped by this woman that was very rude. She took down my info and told me that someone will contact me the next day. Yet i was never contacted!

I had a great experience . I mail a bulk mailing once a month . Today I worked with Lito he was so friendly and saved me money. Showing me the flat rate boxes and saved me over 100.00 dollars. This is the first time someone took the time to show me a cheaper way to mail. He was so helpful. So please make sure to tell him . He has awesome customer service. Lori

One of the most frustrating and irritating experiences at a post office. Trying to complete a change of address that requires in person verification of identity. Went in, and the first lady was pleasant but seemed like she'd never done it before. Low and behold she did it wrong, and said that she was unable to verify my identity. Went in second time, different lady had me fill out change of address paper form, showed my IDs and paperwork again, she said I was good. Went home, opened email, shows that it was still wrong and wasn't processed. Went back for third time on two days, and the male clerk the said he'd have supervisor help me. Was sent to end of counter to wait for supervisor. Still there waiting for about 30 minutes as they called over the PA system over and over again for supervisor to come help me. Supervisor comes out nonchalantly, no apologies for making me stand there for 30 minutes. She then tells me because my new address is in San Diego and not Chula Vista she can't help me. And that I'd have to drive to a different post office. Went to different post office, and they told me that she was lying, and she absolutely could have helped me. Absolutely disgusting that the supervisor would treat customers this way, and 100% needs to be removed from her job.

Super super rude staff every single time Iv gone on rare occasions I go to the post office. This place is trigger to people with anxiety. I can't believe this place is sitting there getting paid to provide horrible customer service. Literally no one in line and being rushed out, u can't ask questions and they don't even bother to pretend to like ther job.

Incompetence. But that’s expected from a government agency. I get that these people have to do their job, but the reality is that their management can be better. In San Diego there are really good post office locations, save your time and go to another one

There's always a big line but the waiting time is like 10 to 15 minutes, they're fast and efficient, good customer service , clean and organized place.

Avoid this post office for any issues that need a supervisor. Incompetent, rude and lazy. Time to clean this post office up. Look at the reviews, seems to be a culture of sub par service being taught here. Don't waste your time at this location when employees just can't be bothered doing their job and will make up excuses to get out of doing something they are capable of (per another post office in Downtown San Diego)

I had never returned a purchase before and Leo who works there went above and beyond to help me. The return label that was sent to me was insufficient. Leo was kind enough to work around the problem and get my package sent off anyway!! Great service!!

I had ordered a shirt online. The shirt was sent to this office, but they refused to send it because "Addressee unknown", despite me receiving all of my mail here for the past year. I try calling, they've hung up on me before I had a chance to speak and disconnected the call several times. They're returning a Christmas gift back to sender and making it difficult to receive my mail 😐

Always busy, but the clerks are quick and efficient. Normally, the wait in line is 5 mins or less. Also it's always clean and organized.

The self service mail bin got stuck. I tried to call and let them know, but I here is no direct way to speak with anyone. The number that look d hopeful hung up on me. So now idk if my package will be shipped.

They're hobbled by the previous administration of potus 45. And they compete with FedEx, ups, DHL, and other alternatives.

I rarely provide a low review, but I find myself having to give one because of poor customer service. Like a lot of people mentioned, Kathy (blonde-hair) is quite rude. When I went up to the front desk, I kindly asked "how are you?" and she scowled. Then I asked her a question regarding my family's mail and looks and talks at me like I'm crazy. At least some of the other workers are accomodating and respectful, even though customer service is still lackluster. Looks like I'm going to the Bonita location from now on.

Large post office. Lots of parking. Space to wrap and tape up a box for shipment. Friendly employee. Of course, it cost a small fortune to ship the medium sized, around 3 lbs, box.

Counter people are efficient and, for the most part, friendly and helpful. PO Box was a nightmare. Mail wasn't delivered or was misdelivered. Mail sent from this facility often never made it to the destination

Katy was very rude, i’m not sure if she gets like that during the holidays. I have come several times and the rest of the staff is nice and understanding, I would advise avoiding her.

The people at the counter are very friendly but poorly managed lately there is a terrible service for deliveries the orders are always late they give you the paper that your product has already arrived and when they look for it they do not find it until 3 or 4 days later they deliver it to you ....appalling...
