Needed to conduct Zoom calls and our home had too much going on. Used our points as Diamond Member and booked a room for the day. The front desk clerk and all it's employees, are friendly, welcoming and in general very very nice. Suites are spacious, modern, very appealing. Lobby is beautiful, open and airy. Over hundreds of Stays at Hilton Brands from Hawaii, Beijing, Tahiti, Phillipines and all over the US in past 20 years. This hotels service compares to the best received as a Hilton Honors Diamond 💎 Member.

Only one star because I will freeze 🥶 tonight ! (73 F maximum in the room no more) New nice & clean hotel with attentive staff but they are are saving money on heating by keeping the temperature at 73 max. ( even the setting is at max 74 F) They are claiming that is a “save energy” or something like that … disappointing… can’t stay in the room in pajamas unless you are under the blankets.

This locations staff were extremely courteous, professional and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable! The hotels complimentary breakfast was delicious and they had a variety of options for those with dietary restrictions. Very welcoming lobby and clean hotel rooms from the towels, bedding, the showers, etc. The only thing I noticed were some towels had minute debris on it. It was 2 hand towels only, not a big deal! I would recommend staying here if you have the opportunity 😊 Thank you to the staff!

The front desk staff are non-professionals and mostly glued to their phones. There is an obvious lack of communication between the front desks and the housekeeping staff. Multiple times I requested a room cleaning and linen change with 24hrs advance notice. I even left my bed unmade knowing that I had requested the service. It was never done. Complained more than 3x regarding room cleanliness and it was never resolved. Worst stay by far.

2021-12-15 -- A quick update after spending another 6 days here this past week. Taking away 2 stars for a really simple issue, the rooms have motion sensors in the thermostats and our room would turn off after 2 hours of no motion detected, including in the middle of the night. We'd wake up to the room being warm because the HVAC turned off and the sound machine we use not running as well. The motion sensor turned off all outlets in the room. We would have to get out of the bed and walk near the thermostat for the room to turn back on. According to the front desk staff there was no way to change it. This left us waking up repeatedly during the night to make the room comfortable again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stayed here last night and the hotel was very nice. The room was clean and spacious, the shower was terrific, the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast was very good. The staff at the front desk were very nice and pleasant to talk to. Would definitely stay here again.

I am a traveling healthcare professional and have been staying at the Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn (one hotel--two different sides) since October 2021. I personally enjoy the Homewood Suites side because of the kitchenette a full size refrigerator, sinks, microwave, and plates, cups, etc. I have enjoyed the hospitality the front desk customer service employees who make my STAY memorable each week that I come to check in at the hotel. I am grateful for the professionalism and friendliness that Irvan, Micah, and Jessica always greet me with a smile and a warm welcome back. This TRIO really makes the stay here fun and I appreciate them chatting with the hotel guests. If I could give them raises I would!!!! Due to the early mornings I am unable to enjoy the complimentary breakfast that is provided. There are social days I believe on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm that has mixed cheeses, spinach artichoke dip, chips and salsa, garlic bread, brownies, and Chicken Tortilla soup. This Hotel is always immaculate and clean. There's the lounge area, pool, gym and outdoor lounge with a grill and fire pit. Furthermore, upon checking in I am given a bag of goodies two water bottles and small snack (cookies or candy). This hotel is also pet friendly which is a plus because as a dog mom I know how difficult it can be to find hotels that accommodate to dogs.

This facility appears fairly new. It has beautiful decor and well kept amenities (gym, pool, patio, laundry room.) The breakfast is delicious and changes daily. With that being said, If you are planning on staying here long term and you have the option between this place and a place that can meet your reasonable needs, pick the other option. This facility is not suitable for people who work unconventional hours. It is very difficult to get help outside of regular business hours all though hotels generally offer 24 hour services. The staff here seem to be “NO” motivated. (Sometimes I feel like I can hear the nnnnnn before I even finish my question.) My biggest difficulty I faced during my stay was the lack of communication between the housekeeping team and the front desk. There seems to be no communication at all which makes scheduling cleanings very difficult. When the cleanings are completed they are done terribly, not at the times requested and with little care. This is a fine facility if you are willing to clean the room yourself and meet your own traveling needs (getting directions, using the printer, getting change for laundry, leaving mail at the front desk to be picked up in the morning). If you have an expectation that you are paying for services in addition to your room, or if you are looking for staff to go the extra mile to insure you have a comfortable and pleasant experience you will not receive that here.

Located in a great place, surrounded by stores, shops and restaurants. BUT, this hotel is sooo outdated. Tvs didn't work, last elevator inspection was 2019 - three years ago, family got stuck on elevator for 43 minutes. My family still have PTSD from the trauma of the ordeal. Hotel restaurant's food prices were tripled the normal prices. The rooms smelled bad and windows were caked with old dust and filth. Floors in the hallways outside our door were filthy. We had to move from one room to another bc of the problems. We finally moved to another hotel which was 100% better than this one. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE THEY CHARGE.

So i used to work here and I stayed the night because I was going to Bryan Adams concert. My room was extremely clean and smelled fresh. They shampooed my rug and I felt like royalty as I was able to check in early. Thank you, Vinah and the whole housekeeping through you guys did a great job, making my first concert the best.

Good location if you need to go to the Chula Vista training center. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is ok. You have to ask for service and extra towels.

Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn share the same building. It's new, nice and modern. Homewood rooms are specious and comfortable though a bit underlit. Very nice beds and full kitvhens. Very tasty breakfasts. Pleasant staff. Of course they are into the new trend of only offering room cleaning every 4 days which I dislike but that seems to be the situation now in many or even most hotels. Still a nice place to stay with a lot of amenities.

We were visiting family so being closer to them in this area was awesome! Hotel was very clean and so close to lots of shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

House keeping sucks beyond your wildest imagination. They actually know how to play the system. You request housekeeping service after 1PM because you work afternoons and may want sleep in the morning, they make sure they will wake you up at 8AM. They can't clean your room because you were there. So you are out of luck. We are here for extended stay and many of our rooms are not cleaned for almost two weeks.

What an amazing fail of an experience! Front desk staff too busy chatting up someone instead of helping guests to check in. No recognition of being diamond status, nor offering of perks. Got trapped in elevator! Most unsafe experience I have ever had. Same front desk staff hung up on me while calling from emergency help button in elevator. After the elevator dropped approx. 1 foot, they "rebooted " the elevator. Then the doors had to be manually operated. ADA bathroom has the slipperiest bath tub I have experienced. Shower water feels slimy (felt like oil on skin, not clean feeling). Smallest Hampton Inn room I have ever stayed in. Supposed to be a non-smoking hotel; unfortunately the hallway reeks of Marijuana smoke. Not impressed. Will probably never return here again!

I would give it 3 stars until I came to find that a non guest female came through and after being irritated that I wasn't off the counter quick enough decided to use witchcraft and hex all my belongings in the laundry room. So now i give it two. Imagine touching someones underwear for no apparent reason. After I asked the front desk to check the cameras, the front dessk witch looked at me and smiled, knowing exactly just what took place. Unbelievable. What kind of sick world do we live in where witchcraft is used in the same businesses as those that are not hexers like disabled people and children? I will never be back again after spending $300/night. And the plaques on the outside of the door? Give me a break. And check out the figure on this art peace in the room? You tell me if it's going to still be around in a year from now. That's what my mind mind said as I nearly ran into the hotel help relocating a baby crib they took out of another room. Hmmmm..

Modern and new location. Staff really nice. Rooms clean and new and modern. The TV is very large which is appreciated. Free breakfast was decent and served by staff so you will have to ask for extra portions if you're hungry like I am in the morning. Couple complimentary water bottles upon check-in one night stay Sunday night is $220

This is the perfect location if you want to stay close to family and friends. Love waking up in the morning to work out at the gym. After working out has some delicious breakfast and coffee. At night time you can go outside have a drink by the fire pit. The only issue I had was a customer service issue other than that I really enjoyed my stay and definitely will be staying here again.

The hotel staff are amazing, friendly, accommodating, respectful, and so much more. The room was excellent... Only weird part was the carpet was a bit dingy/old. Beyond that it was nice and spacious. The hotel game room oddly had to be reserved but it was small room so makes sense If you need a bell-dolly for your luggage they're is only 3 in the entire hotel. Why? No idea but makes no sense for a hotel of that size. Self serve Breakfast is great. Bbq area is great Location is fantastic

Very clean hotel with kitchen facilities. Stayed to attend a family wedding. Near fastfood restaurants and department stores for quick shopping .Since it's Covid time, there's not much interactions with any staffs. Housekeeping is by request only. Free breakfast but very minimal. Servers give only small amounts of food, better to make it yourself in your kitchen. Overall, will stay again in the future.

Service and rooms were good. The walk in showers leak beneath the doors. Breakfast bar in the morning was delish but was always the same. The breakfast bar had many items. I would have loved biscuits and gravy occasionally.

Hotel appears nice and new but her were the issues: Stayed in room 308 - no hot water in shower. Called maintenance and they flooded the room out changing out the shower mixing valve. Water to the entire hotel had to be secured. Was forced to move at 11pm. Moved to room 307 - no hot water in shower the next morning. They told me they’d have to notify the hotel contractor who would come out “next week” and gave me 40K Hilton points and had me move a third time. Moved to room 319 - Tested the sink water prior to moving in and it was hot so I figured the shower would be. Next morning, no hot water in shower and shower had someone else’s hair in it. Advised maintenance and they couldn’t fix it. Fox News was blocked in this during different timeframes of the day while other news channels were not. Maintenance couldn’t fix it, neither could they fix the issue where TBS which showed the NCAA tournament championship could be watched and instead the TVs were programmed to show what was airing on ESPN on the TBS channel. They couldn’t fix it. Had a room cleaning and lost a $45 work polo shirt that housekeeping wadded up in the dirty sheets they took off. Never got that back. They gave me another 40K Hilton points for that. I tested various times a day for shower water and all of them there was lukewarm water at best. Breakfast is a bit different than most all other Homewood Suites locations. Its good but it’s not self-serve for meals they offer. Out of the 3 rooms I was in, none had a “do not disturb” placard to stick outside the door. The kitchen suites were lacking many basic utensils that were missing from room to room. Dirty wash rags/sink towels were left behind and not replaced during basic partial room cleaning. Bottom line- I will never ever stay in this hotel again. I’m a Hilton Diamond member and have seen way better managed hotels. All the staff appear to be very young as well and it didn’t seem to me that they cared when I reported all these issues or failed to report back to me with a status.

I stayed there recently for a one night Saturday night stay and it was fantastic from beginning to end... Check In: My reservation was booked through the Hilton website. The front desk attendant was so friendly she provided us 2 bottles of water at check in. She explained to us the facilities and the complimentary breakfast for the next morning. I received a text message later welcoming me again and to text back if I needed anything. Lastly, the housekeeping supervisor assigned to our room stopped by and introduced herself to us. She told us not to hesitate to reach out if we need anything. Awesome. Facilities and room: We had a two queen room and the room was spotless. The TVs worked well and all the furniture and decor was contemporary and appeared brand new. The bathroom was spacious, clean and had strong water pressure and no shortage of hot water. This is very important to me. lol Miscellaneous: The complimentary had some hot dishes of eggs, breakfast meats and plenty of bagels, pastries, fruits, juice etc. They had a staff of 3 attending to everyone and they did great. Don't forget to tip! The lobby was spacious and the business area section had plenty of table space if you need go spread out and get some work done. There was no charge for parking which we totally appreciated as well. Next time I'm in Chula Vista visiting my buddy and his fam, I will definitely stay at Homewood Suites again if need be. Safe Travels all!

👍👍 I like this motel. It's close to fwy. 5 , quiet no loitering, management is great as they keep things running the way it should be . No parties or drama and the rooms are satisfactory with air conditioning that is very cold and large rooms . Older building for sure and it's not like a fancy place, b...
