My best friend and I were craving some tacos for the night. We stumbled upon this location, what caught our attention were these nice patio lights they had for decor. We get there and the vibe was very welcoming and uplifting with good music playing. I went ahead and placed my order of 3 tacos de adobada w/everything, 2 tacos de tripa extra cooked w/everything and a agua de jamaica. When I get called to get my food and requested their spiciest salsa which was mango habanero. I sat down and prepared my tacos with lime and salsa. That first bite I take was intense, so much flavor from the adobada meat and that burst from the mango habanero salsa. It was heaven in my mouth, I didn’t want it to end. But unfortunately my stomach couldn’t take anymore tacos after the five I ate. I’m going again today for round two though hehe! 😋 I highly recommend this location! I wish avocados weren’t so expensive. Cause that would have made the tacos whole. Also, great prices! 👏🏼🙌🏼

Tacos are pretty good especially the adobada aka pastor. Very good portions you can make 2 tacos out of 1. Service was nice and you had complimentary beans. Homemade lemonade was superb. Just wish they had a better salsa and some queso fresco and avocado to add on.

So I've never driven here until today and I love the atmosphere the truck vibes are similar to Hawaii. Now the food, it's called Mr. Adobada for a reason, some of the best adobada I've had and I'm born and raised in CA. If you get a chance you need to get down there and eat. So good. It got a little pricey but it is 100% worth it.

We are from OC but happened to be in the SD area and were craving some tacos. I found Mr. Adobada by accident, we were in Chula Vista to go to a different taco spot. We decided to give Mr. Adobada a try. I'm not going to lie, those were the best adobada tacos we've ever tried, BUT, the girl that was taking our order had the worst customer service. She was extremely rude and very condescending. Unfortunately, due to that, I can only give it 1 star. Now the cook, he was great. He should be the one taking the orders instead. Next time I'm in the area, which is often, I will chose to take my business elsewhere.

The best tacos you are going to find north of the border. Real Arrachera (skirt steak), not some random cuts of what ever meat is on sale. Not only do they use the best meat, they also know how to correctly season it. Price wise you could find a cheaper place to go, but if you like to get what you pay for, this is the place. I have not one bad comment about this taco truck. Politeness...check! Tasty...check! Selection... check! Drinks... check! Get there, have some food, unless your taste buds are off, your NOT going to be dissatisfied! Recommend the fries with asada and agua de fresa!!!!!

Mannn the most underrated Birria spot! Their tacos are huge and amazing ! The gentleman at the window helped me and explained the menu to me. My wife got stuffed carne asada potato and she loved it. They have available seating which is rare for a food truck. Definitely coming back here

Food was good. Tacos are a little on the skimpy side during Taco Tuesday, but that's expected since they're only $2

Awesome place, great Carne asada tacos, haven't tried the Adobada just yet, but I'm definitely coming back to try them. Also tasted the Carne asada quesadilla, and that to was amazing, made a little from the main stream taco chains/ shops. Still fulfilling if you get the quesadilla with a taco.

Me and my wife went there for dinner on our 25 aniversery. And had a wonderful time. And for people ready this and thinking for a aniversery, it's the simple things that make the best times. The food was amazing, the crew was very friendly and the price was not that bad. Going back next week

Tacos where ok. Just go to tacos El Gordo Jamaica was 4.50. and she gave it to me with the lid open. It spilled half way. Huge mess on the table. We clean up as best we could and asked for a top off. The guy was like i doubt you're telling the truth but what ever. And a lady after me ordered like 20 tacos and they gave her 1 hot sauce. They would give her more. She had to pay. Never coming back just

The Adobado taco 🌮 is the best taco I have had in california. I usually love chorizo and they have a good one of those too but the Adobado here is amazing. Simple and clean; not too much sauce and just the right amount of fresh vegetables and tender hot Adobado. Hats off to the crew there this afternoon. Middle of a rain storm and they were a pleasure to deal with and had a tent setup while you social distanced waiting for take out. Please like this review if you find helpful.

Mr Adobada Tacos, became our first option over the neighbors tacos down the street, This place is simply awesome and tacos are bomb, they have different food choices, it’s located inside a parking lot that has multiple food trucks, they’re clean, everyone is wearing masks and tables are clean, very easy to order and fast serving. It doesn’t gets really packed and I always find parking. I will definitely come back.

I was driving by when this food truck caught my attention. These tacos are the best in chula vista hands down. They are just like tj tacos. They even have a trompo for the adobada.

We came here on a Friday evening because the line over at Tacos el Gordo was really long. Mr Adobada is an apt name - their adobada was excellent. Their chorizo and suadero tacos were also incredible - overall a great experience!

Very delicious! Love Adobada tacos for taco Tuesday and the aguas frescas are also very delicious. Will have to come back to try the other items on the menu.

Adobada tacos and fries comparable to Tacos El Gordo, with no line!? Sign me up.. even on a windy day, it's nice to eat at this taco truck because of their wind covered outdoor seating area. They serve your entree with the sides like radish and lime ready-to-go, which was a nice touch. I'd recommend this place.

Very disappointed, being from out of town and looking for places to eat is already challenging. Order a baked potato it was not cooked. Street corn tasted like can corn. The only good thing was the meat. Beans were salty.

Adobada was flavorful tasty. $2 Taco Tuesday is a pretty good deal. I also liked their Jamaica because it wasn’t too sweet.

We love Mr Adobada food truck! The carne asada & adobada tacos are my favorites but we also like the Adobada or Carne Asada fries aka Mr Fries! Lots of good menu items to try, you'll be happy you did. Easy to find right on H St. off the 5.

I use to go to this place when it was near the gas station and the food always tasted great, it was even my next best choice when Tacos el Gordo closed one of their locations. Not sure if i went on an off day, but the fish taco didnt taste quite right, they didn't have the tacos i mainly drove 20mins for, and the tacos i did get finished of my night on a bad note. The tripa tacos were so chewy and undercooked that as much as i chewed and chewed it would just not break apart and was pretty much inedible. I just ate the tortilla because i was hungry.

Good, not great. You hope they use fresh Adobada cut from the spit, but when it isn't busy, they just have a pile of meat that they reheat on the griddle. This causes the meat t become crispy and lose some of it's flavor.
