The best Poke spot I have tried in Socal. Absolutely love how much you get for what you pay for. The fish chunks are huge and taste fresh. I have only a few recommendations / comments. Most places dont consider crab to be a protein they usually consider it to be a side. To me its dissapointing as I know there is a huge price difference between a scoop of tuna and a scoop of fake crab. The house sauce is amazing but the Spicy Mayo is the worst of any poke place ive tried in the area. Lastly it sucks to still have to wear masks inside of the store. Most people are vaccinated now and if you care about getting infected you have probably gotten the shot. Im more likely to get sick from eating raw fish that you sell then from a customer infected with COVID-19. My only other recommendation is I wish you would promote where the seafood comes from and if its farmed or fresh caught.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and absolutely fell in love with this place. The staff was super friendly and helpful in answering questions, and they had a large number of different selections of fish, seafood and various toppings. The portions were generous and the price was fair. We both had enough leftovers for dinner later that evening. We will be coming back to Pokebay frequently in the future. I highly recommend this poke bowl shop to anyone in the local area or to enjoy if passing through.

Ordered food from Uber eats without looking at the reviews. Wish I didnโ€™t get poke from here. No seaweed salad. The sauces I wanted on my bowl werenโ€™t added. They forgot my third protein. Not even any utensils or soy sauce. Saying this couldโ€™ve been better and fresher. Donโ€™t waste your money

Used to love coming to this place for lunch. Lately they have been falling short of what they used to be. The quality of the food has gone down and they have been opening late consistently. Have spent half of my lunch break waiting for them to open, only to wait the rest of it in line with other people who waited for them to open. Looks like its time for me to find a new poke spot.

They have changed the type of shrimp they use in their bowls. I used to go here because you could really tell that they used better quality ingredients but they have been making little changes which sadly make them just like any other poke restaurant. The latest change being the shrimp type (prior seemed fresh new one seems frozen - the texture is very different)and thatโ€™s one change that doesnโ€™t slide through without loyal customers noticing. UPDATE: Went again as I donโ€™t feel a business should be judged on a possible one off event. Shrimp being used is back to the fresh large shrimp they normally use. Perhaps they use the small frozen ones when they run out of the good shrimp. Iโ€™d rather them just be out of shrimp then try to substitute with a lower quality shrimp.

Bad service Management. Only one person working in the front. No cashier. I went there on my lunch break and was late. More than 10 people waiting. Almost 50 minutes waiting and only 4 people infront of me. Management, you should feel ashamed having only one poor guy working alone with so many people waiting on line. ๐Ÿค” He looked nervous and frustrated. Never again!

Upon arrival, I wasn't sure if Pokebay was open. Sign was out. Then, case I started my selections they were out of Albacore, next, out of sauces, next out of most toppings. Did I get a discount? No. Then, as I was being charged I offered my phone #, and the girl said: "we stopped taking #'s a month ago". I asked the girl if there's a new owner...to be running out of ingredients and taking the frequent buyer program from customers. The girl was very sweet with beautiful smile but clearly was so embarrased. Then I said: Isn't the owner aware there many Poke places? Not returning to this Poke place... unless the owner looks up my # and apologizes. **If there was a no star option, I would have selected that. **Customers, please note that previous positive reviews were for the previous ownership. Not the new BAD owner.

Came here once recently, the workers were friendly and attentive, but they were the best part of the visit. The soda machine, iced tea, and fridge were all broken, meaning no cold drinks or water. The AC was broken, entire shop was very hot. They were out of multiple toppings and fish (no salmon) and the overall quality of the food was mediocre to bad. I didn't even finish my bowl and I'm a big fan of poke. After eating, my wife and I instantly had the runs and stomach pains. I don't think I will give them another chance.

Great poke! First time I've had Pineapple & Mango offered in a Poke spot. My only issue was S,M & L were all the same size bowl just more scoops of fish per different order so after my Large order was made they squished all my food to make the bowl close.

The fish was really fishy and very bad flavor it tasted like it was rancid. I have had before poke bowl and this is one that I didnโ€™t like at all, fish extremely fishy taste, I would never come again. I ordered it to go and when I got home I tried to call them many times to report it and never answered the phone ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿ˜ค

Have been a Customer for a While, really like the Flavor, freshness, correct attitude of servers, but Iโ€™m giving a 2 star rating because the store looks completely dirty. Starting by the Door, the Floor, the Glass guard. I think I wonโ€™t be coming back, itโ€™s sad because the food is amazing.

I love the poke bowls here. I usually get the ahi tuna but they were out this time so I tried the salmon. It was a bit fishy for my liking. But the ahi is always perfect! There are a lot of options for toppings and sauces so you can switch it up each time. The staff is always very friendly as well.

Looked for a spot for lunch today and saw that HelloPoki was having a soft opening... So glad that there is a poki spot close by! Tastes pretty good and the house sauce was bomb! The fish was fresh. The portion was good and the employees were nice enough. There is one gender neutral restroom as well. I would recommend with this spot!
