We were given room 124. The chair to sit in had huge holes in it. The beds were dirty, there was standing water in the bathroom, there was lots of roaches and it was just a extremely filthy place. I opened the refridgerator and a roach ran out of it, there were roaches in the bathroom, in the beds and on the walls. Baby ones and medium sized ones. It was the nastiest hotel I ever stayed at. I will never stay here again. I have pics of everything I described but it won't let me post them....

Loved the location. That’s all I liked. I booked through choice , did not get my reward points , and I paid for 3 nights. The lady at the front was rude , and she was very non customer service based. We got a room , requested 1 extra blanket and pillows and 1 extra towel. I was told “we don’t provide anything more we have a real shortage on supplies” but the tone used was very rude and she began to try to argue with me further. The toilet was broken and she almost refused to provide us a working room. After multiple issues in the room within a matter of minutes -the lady decides to give us a new room. Once in the new room and settled we thought it was okay until we woke up to cockroaches ! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone , based on the poor customer service alone. Overall considering we spent most our time out of the hotel as we were traveling and exploring we made it work -but sadly we will never be back to this hotel !

This is a kind of you get what you pay for situation. The lady who works at the front desk in the daytime was super kind! The rooms are just that, rooms. Nothing special . One thing that I did not like is that there is no grip in the bathtub. And there is no rail to grab on. I was scared taking a shower every day. It was so slippery. I thought I would fall. The rooms AC worked well and there was a small mini fridge, but no microwave. There is a lot of parking, some are covered, and some are not, but it’s lit pretty well. It’s a motel and not a hotel. There are only stairs to lead you up to the second floor, so keep that in mind if you are bringing a lot of luggage. The housekeepers were also very friendly and helpful. All the female employees were great and the reason I gave the place 4 stars.

I see a lot of 1 star reviews and I agree, it is midnight right now (12:11 am) Sept. 6. 2021. When I took a shower it was fine UNTIL I used their towels and it has so much lent it got in my lungs etc, had to call the front desk but they said I have to go there myself, unbelievable. And so I showered again. Not much lighting, and not so comfortable sleeping here think they may not have changed the sheets. You get what you pay for I guess so I guess it is worth spending hundreds for a decent hotel stay smh.

The shower had pieces of hair stuck to the wall. There was a bug in the bathroom. No microwave like it said, no in room coffee pot, hookers hooking right in front and the staff, the 2 gentleman I spoke with were not friendly at all. No welcome to. No I apology for a not cleaned room. Etc..

Room was horrible. Walked in immediately saw cigarette hole in bedsheets. Towels were soiled. Front desk person was argumentative, tried to charge me twice for a prepaid room. TV didn't work. And walked out the door of my room to be greeted by a dumpster with no lid. My experience at Choice locations has always been great....until I stayed at this Roadway Inn in National City. Do yourself a favor stay anywhere but here.

I have not stayed there but on the phone making sure they know I have a service dog and they try to illegally charge me for her saying they only allow small dogs and they would have to charge me extra extremely illegal and will be reporting. She is a service dog not a pet.

I like the price and how you get pretty much everything u need for that one low price.. they have laundry room for guest... fridge, microwave, a bed, air conditioner/heater I mean pretty much what it says on their website it's true.. good sized rooms... my only thing is they don't allow pets unless they are service animals. I had to leave my teddy in my car :(... my poor teddy.

I was pleasantly surprised. It appeared to be a plain old 2-story motel... but it's a lot better. You can tell they care about little details like nice beds, thick, high-quality towels, nice bright room, fridge & microwave. Staff were good people too..

Stayed for 2 nights during the weekend. It served its purpose. Other reviews mentioned some bad things. We did not have any major issues. Parking was easy and abundant. No roaming random people. Cameras for the parking lot. Room was small, but suitable for 2. Online said it was a queen bed, but it was full and VERY firm. The room included a tv, microwave, and mini fridge. A/C worked great! Walking distance to gas station and a few restaurants. Only complaints... the floors were not clean, as in needing to be swept. The bathtub creaked as if you might fall through, but I didn't. The hot water had zero pressure in the sink. The customer service is severely lacking if you need something, but they helped with needs when asked. Would probably stay again if needed.

The staff are always friendly and make checking in super easy. Rooms smell good and beds are comfy for a fair price.

Overall my experience was bad. As soon as I entered the room I saw these big like stains on the floor as if someone spilled something. A cigarette was found on the floor. There were cigarette burns on the sheets, the fridge was not cleaned and it smelled horrible and every time you opened it the smell would linger. The blinds were all dirty and so was the door. The tv didn’t work at all. The toilet would clough.

I wish I would've took pictures but I checked in got to my room and it was pretty dirty... I decided to stay somewhere else down the road...my advice is find another hotel this one is not a good choice unless you absolutely have no other options they need to clean they rooms better.

It is very well located and the prices are reasonable. Only issue when I went was the day we were leaving there was a plumbing planned and the water stopped. Not sure why it is made when the guests are using the hotel. No issue other than that. It was clean and the towels were all fresh daily.

Everything was clean, except for the vinyl floor, which hadn’t been mopped in awhile. Basic and a little run down, but adequate for the price point. Bed was comfortable. No coffee in room nor coffee/food for breakfast.

If I was able to put zero stars I would. The people at the front desk were RUDE AF. The queen bed had a clump of hair on the sheets. The seets were inside out. There was no breakfast. I HAD ANTS IN MY ROOM. In order to get the room cold you have to have it on 68 otherwise I was hot as heck. The lamp wouldn't turn off, we had to unplug it to turn it off. Absolutely the worst experience ever.

I'm not about to put a star here actually but I have to. THe star here is zero supposed to be because this hotel has bad management. We went here to have 2 nights check in but I didn't continue the second night because the management of this hotel is not good. I told to the receptionist not to clean my room but they clean the room which I hate it...the lady that works in the front for morning shift. The staff are not professional. When I get back to the hotel, someone came into my room and and the manager too, didn't refund my money although they made mistakes, no good manager, he is greedy...I never coming back to this hotel, management is no good. He said in his words to return my money back but he didn't. He is greedy. It's a stinky room and dirty, we brought our own blanket and towels and some other things like soap and tissue. I REALLY FELT disappointed to this hotel, stinky, gross bathroom, gross aircon and bad managenent.

Very disappointed with this location, I've been here in the past but the place has gone down. The rooms are not what I remembered, the furniture looks worn out, they were cigarette burn on the bedspread, the remote to the tv wouldn't work. The bathtub and the sink were brand new, that was a plus but when I heated up my food I got unexpected company two roaches started to roam and there was an egg that hatched next to the sink, I took pictures and we left in the middle of the night since I didn't feel comfortable sleeping with roaches in the room The staff was very nice and helpful but I won't be coming back it was a last minute thing to stay here as most everything was booked up.

This place was horrible! I went through and re-cleaned the room. The bed had lumps all over the matress; maybe we slept on the box spring. My bask hurt so bad I was walking as if I needed a walker. The human that hang around there are self employed with no tax identification....you can put that together. Television was not working so we went to the office and a guy comes in with 3 remotes one of these should work; I had to walk away. The parking in front of our room was difficult as there is an old broken down vehicle parked sideways. No security just the locked office door and bullet proof glass they stay behind. I didn't check for bed bugs, I sprayed all our stuff before and after. I slept in the chair. No complementary breakfast like the other locations. In my opinion this Rodeway Inn is not worth the money.

Me and my family stayed here for 11 days and was told on the 12th day we could only stay for 7 days I didnt quite understand that but front desk did say we could come back after 24 hours. The room was ok but small room, beds are stiff we had problems with the tv but it got better. The room smelled of cigarettes even thow there is no smoking allowed in the rooms. Outside on the weekend is very busy with certain people that are staying there. But they have a laundry room for guest that was great and housekeeping is nice. It's a decent place to stay for the night or a week.

Room was not very clean. There was dead bugs in the bed and lipstick on one of the pillow cases… Room smelled like cigarette smoke. The fridge door was left open when we got there. There was some nasty black stuff around the peep hole on door. 1 of the plug outlets behind the door was so burnt that when we plugged in our stuff it immediately started to get hot…. Definitely a fire hazard.

I choose this hotel for my business trip because I like the brand and it was affordable and close to the location I needed to be near. There is a Jack in the Box walking distance from the hotel. Check in was fast and professional. Room was clean. I was shocked to see a fridge and microwave. Hadn't had both in a room in a while. I am very satisfied.

Despite what the reviews says about this Hotel. However, the price is reasonable it is clean, and it is located in a convenient area I always have a great stay. the guy up front is super cool & The staff here very nice & housekeepers are so friendly are the room was clean and would come back. Also, it comes with a fridge and microwave. updated rooms. free internet, I like the beds and Lots of pillows. Parking was convenient, too. Location is near other hotels and a local gas station. Also, the front desk manager PETER is a great guy give us a great rate every time.

I was there only once and they offered me a room . They said it will be available soon but it is not a free smoking room. I said it is fine bc i need it only for one night. But as soon as I stepped in😩 the room was stinking so badly and the curtains, i even didn’t want to touch them. I always use airbnb. And it was my first and last experience with Motel. Never ever

This hotel is a scam. It was not what they advertised online so watch out ! It is definitely and unsafe not recommended for families and people traveling alone. The door was broken. The room was FILTHY! It smelled unclean and disgusting. We did not stay there for not even 5 minutes before we decided to leave because of both the filth and the smell! First we the first 10 minutes just trying to open the door and then we were trapped for a good 5 minutes inside the room.Do your self favor and DON’T come to this hotel! !!!

Don't sleep here if you care about you skin and sanity. After sleeping here the first day, my skin develop a weird rash, and I realized that is was bed bug bites. Also my dog had gotten bit here. Never again. Also if your homeless there is no empathy here, my family and I was nothing but nice to the people running here and they hated us for no reason. The lady especially, she is very narcissistic. One time before I even asked her for a roll of toilet paper she yelled at me asking "WHAT IS IT NOW!?" like if I was bothering her. She shouldn't be allowed to work with people before being evaluated for her mental health. BTW all the sheets and towels are sooo disgusting they don't buy any new ones they keep using the dirty stained ripped up ones with cigarette burns, Talk about DOT head status! Don't go here, you'll thank me.

THE LADY, who I'm assuming why this place has a low review, cause it's probably mostly based on her, and her people working capabilities. she is very narcissistic, extremely unprofessional, in my opinion She needs to be fired. I've never wrote a review before even when I had a bad experience with other places, But this one takes the cake. I just hope she gets help with her situation in her head before working with the public, otherwise she will never get any business at all. I do encourage everyone to read the reviews before booking here. I'm writing this review because she kicked me out for having a dog in my room even though there's five people who have dogs in their room, also she was so extremely rude to my family. There for you need book somewhere else to have a better night sleep.
