First off, parking is a bit small but it gives the small town vibe. Very cute and decorated cute. Staff was friendly. Orange juice garnished and delish. I had carne asada and eggs plate and the simple breakfast (with a friend of course😂). The food is reasonably priced for this economy. I devoured. Had a golly time. Highly recommend.

I chose The Omelette recommended. Awful! No service, I guess unless you're cute. It felt like they were guessing how to run a business. At the end of my meal the manager came up to my table, but she's a bit emotional and ran off with my ticket. I didn't know if I was paying or not. Dolce Cafe fresh eatery, is not fresh at all. We're hauling in boxes of food they probably got at Costco or restaurant outlet, When I finally found the place. Found a parking spot which was pretty meager. I gave it a good shot, but then the manager said you ate everything, but I didn't. I didn't even get the drink I ordered. The manager said but you drank it. Maybe the manager has never sent anything back at a restaurant but if you know any thing about restaurants and you send something back you may get things in it is disgusting there are movies about this stuff doesn't she know this? But how can you send something back when you hardly get any service anyways. The guys that were the servers, it felt like they were guessing how to be a server. An incomplete meal was served (there was only one other table), You were on your own for any condiments or do with out. I still have the nasty taste in my mouth from the food but I will definitely have to say I did give it my best shot I will never look back or go back. Completely unprofessional. I fear to think what's going on behind the Seens.

The hubby brought me here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We had a 10 min wait to be seated since it was pretty busy. The food is great, the coffee options are awesome, try the banana one!! Overall, great experience.

Yum! The girlfriend and I decided to grab some brunch whilst out and about running errands and we settled upon Dolche Cafe. It is extremely small but that does not detract from the experience at all. The service was great and the food delectable. Our server did make a mistake with our order but was quick and professional to rectify the issue. The food was so good and I can’t wait to come back. Update: So my fiancé and I decided to come back. While the food was still top notch I would advise you to ask about the cost of your food. We asked for coffee and the server didn’t ask any follow up questions, then comes the check and we were served the JUMBO which of course is their most expensive option. I wish they were more transparent with their prices and options which is why I changed my original rating from 5 stars to 4.

We just came in to have breakfast. The food is extremely fresh and delicious. Made to the order. Great customer service. Easy parking. Very cute place. Cafe de la olla is on point. Also the Crepes are amazing if you just want a lil treat and a good cup of coffee.

I got divorciados (Mexican divorced eggs) chilaquiles and it looked and tasted great! The coffee is probably the best dark roast I’ve ever had. (I don’t generally like dark roast.) Props to the employee who remade my matcha boba drink to make it less sweet, but the tapioca pearls were crumbly and not chewy. I wouldn’t get boba tea here again, can go to sindis snack shack like a mile away. Every drinking cup or glass they gave me appeared dirty with debris clinging to the rim. Also it’s a little expensive— breakfast plate, black coffee, and a boba tea w an 18% tip was $33.

It was a little expensive for what we got. I wish they had smaller portion options for children so I didn't have to spend $20 getting my 4 year old French toast and juice. My fiance got a breakfast burrito and i got the avo toast and water. It was almost $60 for these three things a cup of coffee and a cup of juice. The potatoes in the burrito were undercooked. He only ate half. He never only eats half a burrito and he never finished it at home. It sat in the fridge and was thrown away. My avocado toast to-go took 30 minutes. My family was done eating and we had already paid but I had to wait for my food to come out so we could leave because I had to go to work. Server was lovely and the French toast was beautiful and incredible with strawberries and chocolate sauce but it didn't make up for the wait time or the price. We may try again when we have more time because I still want to love this place.

I've been to this restaurant a few times already and every single time has been a great experience! Warning - this restaurant is tiny! It's one of the smallest restaurants I've ever been to in my life but the food is amazing and the service is great. Prices are very reasonable. The menu is extensive and has lots of selections. I don't know how they can cook so many different kinds of food in that puny kitchen. The food is healthy and delicious. If you like your food greasy and fatty, this ain't the place for you. I like this restaurant so much I wish I can work here just so I can be here all the time. This is a hidden gem and my only fear is that once word gets out, it will be so packed that I won't be able to get a table. For now, every visit I've made had a table readily available. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hurry and go check this place out before it gets too popular!

My first day of the month (11/1/21) has started off great. Dolce Cafe can definitely brew-it right! Dolce Cafe - Thank you for your outstanding customer service. Not only my coffee was on point but the service that was provided was more then what I can ask for. My first time experience went well , u all have earned loyal customer from here on forward. If I had to rate you from zero being the worst and 10 being the best… 10 it is for Dolce Cafe 😊.

Cute small dining. They were super accommodating when we showed up a Sunday early morning breakfast of 12 people from AZ. We wanted outside seatings and got that request right away. They served us right away water cup with fresh blueberries in it. The foods is served in huge plates and the coffee drinks are addictive. Big menu. Everything was delicious. My sister lives in SD, she and her kids will be back.

The staff and owners were exceptionally friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere where I could comfortably work on my laptop. However, some dishes featured spices or ingredients that weren't to my liking. It's worth a try though, as personal tastes vary. For instance, I had never tried potatoes with rosemary before and found the rosemary's flavor overpoweringly strong, suggesting a need for more cautious seasoning. Additionally, I was somewhat displeased when my service was cleared before I had finished. On a positive note, they kindly offered more cookies, allowing me to leisurely finish my coffee. The ambiance was notable, with an incense-filled air and vividly colored metal chairs. I consider this place expensive.

My wife and I visited Dolche Cafe located in the heart of Chula Vista on Broadway next door to Costco. We were greeted by the nice owner of this business and ordered a variety of food from their menu on the two consecutive days that we were in the area. We can say that this business has the 3 elements that in our opinion make a good restaurant. Food quality and taste, service and price. The Food quality was excellent and fresh, from the café de olla we ordered, to the enchiladas, pechugas con mole, salad with carne asada, cucumber water, crepes con Nutella and cinnamon apple crepes. We liked it so much that after our first visit we had to return for a repeat the next day. Service was very good. We appreciate our server's attention and talking to the owner who checked up on us during our stay. Prices were fair considering the high cost of raw materials and rent these days. We wish this local restaurant the best in their grand opening. We will be back to try other items in their menu. Highly recommended.

A new favorite spot for me! I got the BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and grilled chicken on whole wheat bread with a chipotle sauce). One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time and I’m not usually a BLT gal. It also came with a side of fruit or fries and I opted for fruit. It was definitely fresh fruit which isn’t always a given at places. I also got a hot horchata latte which was equally as good. Service was super friendly. Prices were extremely fair, especially for the quality! I’m not in this area often but when I am I will opt for coffee + food here versus a big chain like Starbucks.

Food and drinks weren’t bad. French toast was good, as was the burrito, and beans, but the burrito could have used some salsa, or a bit more seasoning. The large, left rounded glass, and jumbo, mason jar on the right were the same size, so don’t bother paying more for the same amount.

The food is so good! The menu offers a variety of choices. Inside dining is minimal, driveway is steep and you climb stairs from driveway to restaurant, that being said the food is excellent. You will be glad you tried it. Mexican and fresh choices. If you like smoked salmon try the Dolce Omelette.

My wife and I heard about this spot from some locals and we are so glad we did because this place in all seriousness is probably one of the best food experiences we’ve had. We first went there for breakfast because we heard the coffee was legit which it definitely was I don’t always go crazy with my coffee but seeing the plethora of options I just had to get a little creative and I’m glad I did because it was on point! I ordered the chilaquiles and it took me to a different place, like mentally and physically I was in food heaven. I thought I’d had bomb chilaquiles before but this was just on another level that I’ve never experienced before. My wife “just”got some French toast but it totally held its own even after trying the chilaquiles. The ambiance and style of this little cafe is noteworthy too, and the staff were really attentive and friendly. This place is a true gem and the menu is enormous so we’ll be going back and trying new things for as long as we live in San Diego.

The food was very good. We had the Chile rellenos and Enchiladas de camaron(shrimp). The chiles were coated light not thick, just perfect. The enchiladas green sauce was very tasty not to overpowering. We will definitely go back soon.

Dish presentation is very nice (didn’t take pic of all our plates). Although my plate was on the warm side instead of hot. The carne asada fries are definetly different from what we know. The place is very nicely decorated.

I wish I knew about this restaurant earlier because I would have gone here and brought people here multiple times. We wanted to try a little bit of everything! My wife got the hangover burger and she said she loved it. I’m got the Cameron enchalado burrito and it was amazing !!! We decided to share the Birria quesadillas and crepe. It was some of the best Birria I have ever had ! Their horchata drink was so good I took some to go ! The customer service was great and our waitress even explained the menu to us! We can’t wait to come back here next week and try more food !

Decent food with great presentation. Service was friendly, one of the servers went above and beyond specifically with one of the members in my party. It's a little expensive for similar fare, though. We ordered smoothies instead of drinks because the drinks are way expensive and so might as well pay a dollar more and get a smoothie, but it was flavorless and nobody in our party enjoyed them, despite trying to add several sweeteners in them to give them flavor. I still recommend this place for outstanding service and decent food. Skip the smoothie and overpriced drinks and just get water.

I went to Starbucks and saw a huge line, so I looked up and found Dolche Cafe & headed there. Coffee was great, the vibes, the customer service, my chilaquiles all exceeded our expectations. The coffee comes with cookies!!! I will be bringing my family back here for breakfast.

I love dining in here. So far I’ve only tried double expresso with a side of milk, very delicious every time. Staff are very friendly and clean environment. Modern interior design and background music make the place feel lively yet calm.

It’s a nice little eatery… the prices are a little higher then one would expect… food is bland… and service is really slow…
