I came on here to make sure I left a review and I was shocked I hadn't yet!!! This place is PHENOMENAL!! I don't know how they master all the flavors but you have got to experience it!! Clearly a repeat customer here!

What a surprise, we had just returned from a trip south of the border and found this great place. El Cruce +241 has a wonderful atmosphere. We enjoyed the beautiful weather at a table near the patio area but still indoors. The staff was very attentive and recommended the fried cauliflower. We were hesitant at first but decided to try something new. Little did we know it would turn into everyone's favorite. We had fish tacos and quesabirria, they were definitely not your everyday taco truck dishes. The chef added their own amazing flavors and the selection of beers from baja were delicious. We'll definitely return to try their baja wine selection. Whether you want a sit down meal, beer or wine tasting I can assure you everyone will find something they love. They had signs advertising the grand opening of their downstairs. We can't to come back and try out more items from their menu.

Absolutely amazing! The tacos were delicious and it started with the tortillas. I had the duck al pastor, shrimp, and fish tacos; each we're prepared perfectly and the salsas provided really complemented each one. The only regret was that I was not more hungry; the octopus taco looked incredible. Don't pass on El Cruce+241 - you'd be missing the best meal of your week!

Came here with my friend and Nobody greeted or attended to us. The chubby waitress said just to sit anywhere. No friendly waiters no friendly staff. The waitress didn't even say hi when she came to our table after i said 'hello' Looks like she had some kind of bad attitude. I got the shrimp pasta It had a lot of sauce but It was Bland with Barely any flavor and just Maybe like six pieces of grilled shrimp on top that's it. Do not recommend. The owner came to tend to us, I asked him if hes the owner just being friendly And he said with a straight face why? Sort of like why are you asking attitude. I thought that's pretty rude usually owners are friendly And accommodating. We were here for the weekend and I noticed it's not as busy as how it used to be. Bottom line poor service not really good food and unfriendly snobby people. Not sure how long this restaurant will last hopefully they put something Better up with decent food and Service at least. People Pay extra to eat out and have good service and good food.

I’ve been here quite a few times and let me tell you, I’ve never been let down. Service is amazing, the food is to die for and the drinks are really good! Love that everything is made fresh so it’s nothing short of my high expectations. We’ve been to normal dinner during the week, taco Tuesday, wine Wednesday and even the brunch on Sundays!

Drink was good but the plate was not up to par......cold enchiladas and beans both lacked flavor ...salsa tasted like it went bad ....not sure if it was just a bad day .....

Had a wonderful and tasty experience at Cruce. The fried cauliflower starter topped with pickled red onion and sliced peppers was delicious, and the tacos with hand made corn tortillas were scrumptious. My favs were the mushroom and steak, but they all tasted great. We happened to pop in on a Taco Tuesday where tacos are 1/2 off, and enjoyed some music/karaoke while we dined. Good vibes all around and the staff was super friendly. Also good wine and beer/draft selection and tasty agave liquor cocktails. Do yourself a favor and go here now! 🌮🌮🌮🍺🍹

Great food and service. The guac and chips was tasty and we liked the frijoles charros with the quesadillas. The adobada tacos were awesome. We also ordered the cruce sunrise roll with carne asada, pulpo and 🍤. The kid sliders with fries. All the dishes and drinks were great. The lemonade was 💣 and the micheladas were well done. We will definetely come back to try other stuff on the menu. ❤💛💚 loved the choice of 🎶.👍.

If you are hungry don’t come here. So overpriced and the food is ridiculous. The portions are less than kid sized. Tiny, tiny tacos. Ribeye was not even ribeye. Aguachile was horrible. $140 for 5 tacos, 2 quesadillas and 3 lemonades. I’m sorry I’m not mean I promise. What they are doing here is. I also tell it like it is.

This is no ordinary basic brunch The chef and owner is amazing. He introduced to me what they offer and I fell in love with everything I tried. The drinks too! the waitress is the greatest. I had small talk with her too...she makes amazing drinks. While everything I ate here was damn good the pulpo asado and fan de elote is my all time favorite. I honestly didn't want to share it. The greediness kicked in. Make sure to drink up! What I ate: * Pulpo Asado | Morita glazed octopus over arugula, frisee, piquillo and squid ink aioli with a side of pee wee potatoes I have an obsession of octopus lately so I was happy to be eating this. They did not disappoint. There's a long process to make this and it's not chewy at all! * Chilaquiles | with half red and green sauce: de Chili Morita & Salsa Verde, beansz potatoes, eggs and avocado I love both green and red sauce. So I love that they have the option for both * Flan De Elote This has to be the best Elote ever! I never ever felt the greediness in me not to share this and deep down I am like... Mine mine mine ALLLLLL mine * TACOS | * de Pulpo * de Pato Al Pastor * de Camaron * Of course the de Pulpo is my favorite. I didn't try the shrimp because I am trying to cut down what gives me allergies but my plus one loved it.

My experiences based mostly on my lunch mate. I had the lamb burger with fries. It was decent and way too many French fries. The problem was that my friend (a chef) ordered the shrimp ceviche salad and the shrimp was slimy and couldn't be trusted. He basically lost his appetite and would even take half of my burger. The prices are not fantastic. I mean, everything's high right now but it's on the high side. Quality needs to be there. Can't say I'll be going back. Too many other quality choices.

Always have fantastic food and having service. They are so kind and I love the welcoming atmosphere and the open air concept. I dream about all their food but especially there carnitas tacos, it really melts in your mouth. I just wish they would bring back the habenero aoli they used to serve with their chips! Best I've had, i brought people there just to try it and really set them apart.

My boyfriend and I visited this place last Friday and we had such a great time. They had a great band playing all kinds of rock. The service was great and the drinks and food were amazing!! Definitely recommend 🤞🏽

I asked for a bowl with chicken, beans, and lettuce due to my food allergies and this is what I received. The chicken was so dry it hurt to swallow. I made the server aware. She didn’t offer a refund or an alternate “dish.” Tell me , what the hell was I served ? They didn’t even try.

The place is not bad to visit once in a while. CONS: Nobody great us when we arrived and we had to call the waitress to let her know we needed assistance., Therefore, service needs improvement. The food took a long time to arrive., therefore, if you are very hungry, expect to be even more until the food gets to you. Food is expensive. A rib eye taco (one taco) $8 dollars. Lamb hamburger $16 dollars, lemonade ~$6 dollars. PROS; The food is good, i ordered the lamb hamburger and was very juicy. The drinks are very refreshing. Waitress once she arrived, was cordial and served with a big smile. IN CONCLUSIO: I would visit the place again expecting not to be served right away and expecting to over pay for the food.

Very quaint and unique restaurant. Food was surprisingly delicious and the presentation was great. A "Speak Easy" is downstairs with a full bar and ready for private parties. We will definitely come back!

First time dining at El Cruce+241. Found it on Google and decided to give it a try. The place it self is pretty cool. I really liked the music choice and atmosphere was relaxing. Our server, Angel, was very friendly and had good food suggestions. There were a couple of things I think they may need to improve. First, they needed to improve on communication because when the food came out our food went to another table and then we got a wrong order. I won't hold it too much against them because of the current circumstances and shortage of help needed. However, I hope they can address this issue because the food, drinks and atmosphere is good enough to try it again. Chula Vista could continue to use great restaurants to enjoy. Let's go El Cruce+241.

I have made it a goal to try everything on their menu at least once. So far I have not been disappointed! My fave so far, ALL of their seafood appetizers and definitely their birria tacos. Stop thinking about it...just try this place out!

Came for a couple of drinks on a double date and this place is a joke! We got a michelada and it was disgusting. It was bloody Mary mix with no good flavor. We told the waitress we didn't like it and she brought us a regular beer. When the check came out the drink was on the bill we asked a different waitress if she could take it off and she said not a problem. The original waitress came over and asked what the problem was and we explained that we didn't like it. She said but you ordered it. she continued to go back and forth with me until I asked for a manager they took forever trying to figure out the situation so we left cash for the bill minus the drink and her tip. The kitchen was closed so didn't get to try the food but because of this poor customer service we won't be back to try it out. The ambiance was good we enjoyed listening the music 🎶.

Great food and selection of beer. All of the food is locally sourced and fresh, the servers were very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. I felt extremely welcomed by all the staff and will definitely be back. They have lots of local beers with a menu showing the ABV and IBU and where the beers are brewed. I got the fried cauliflower which came with jalapenos and cilantro and two dipping sauces and the esquite which was delicious. The beer was served in a proper beer glass. I think I found my favorite local spot.
