👍👍 Came for the beers, tried the pizza, and will come back for the pizza (and beer of course!) I think we got a Hawaiian like pizza, and it was SO good. Seriously. Overall, great place to hang out and people watch along 3rd avenue! People often mention pizza, beer, good, beers, staff, great, friendly,

Groundswell is our favorite spot to drop into on Third Ave. Not only do they carry a wide range of beers and wines but now they have a delicious food menu to order from. You have to try the sweet heat pizza. It's outstanding. Flavors from the garlic, fig, Calabrian chili and honey all meld together perfectly. They have a chorizo pizza, Calabacita pizza, palate pie is amazing with habanero peppers. Must try when you stop in. Staff is awesome. We've had Tiffany, Mitch, Diego, Karran and Jasmine all check in on us on different occasions and everyone is so knowledgeable about the beers on tap and even some that aren't. Vibe here is laid back and makes you want to hang around a little longer. Don't miss the back patio area. Great place to work while you lunch.

First time coming here. It was easy to find via google maps. Metered street parking only. Lots of tables inside and a few on the patio. Clean and simple yet provides a warm atmosphere. Limited beers on tap and most of them were good. Must try their Dry Irish Stout, a GABF winner. Beertender was very helpful. She usually works on weekends but covered lastnights shift.

i had several times in the past enjoyed their 'sweet heat' pizza and always invited a friend(s) to go with me. This time I invited a couple lady friends telling them how awesome the pizza was and how differently unique from any other. when they brought it to our table i was shocked! the ingredients had changed! they substituted pepperoni for the sausage which combines poorly with honey, as opposed to sausage. the honey was sparse, they went from thin crust to thick, and the dried figs and peppers were so lacking we had to use the package crushed peppers. Basically, it sucked. it went from a startling different and delicious pizza to 'just another pizza'. my friends were disappointed and i was embarrassed. Bartender admitted it had changed substantially and that i was not the only one complaining. Since they have no atmosphere/ambiance there is no longer any reason to go there as craft beer can be had all up and down third avenue and other places will be heated. staff friendly but its hard to overcome bad food, no heaters and boring environment. yep, i will find a different place to go since i will not go back.

Mitchell the bartender recommended the vegan veg sandwich so I got that as well as the vegan pasta salad. Soo good! I’ve actually never like grilled veggie sandwiches until coming here. Thanks for having plant based options 🌱

It was almost entertaining how angry the bartenders were. If cameramen from Punk'd came out, that would have made more sense because it was hilarious how horrible they were. They practically threw money at a customer who paid cash. They yelled at two customers for asking for prosecco. Then served them a sparkling champagne and spilled it everywhere. I left so after.

Horrible experience, i was here on wednesday and me and my husband ordered a beer each, 2 slices of pizza and garlic knots. I had to ask for our garlic knots after our beers were already done. They came cold. I’ve had way better experiences at the grantville location. Our pizza never came. Don’t waste your time.

Decent beers, had their own plus other local taps. The ginger beer was solid, and the Pog Mahone (pog ma thon is the actual Gaelic spelling for the phrase "kiss my a$$") Irish red was a good representation of the genre. The pizza was really good. The atmosphere was fine and service was friendly.

Mitch, the beertender, was really hospitable and kind. It’s a great place to get work done during the day, nice quiet shaded back patio. Mitch even wrote the WiFi password down for me on a sticky note when he found out I was working here!

This is my favorite pizza spot in Chula Vista. They have both unique and classic pies and do both very well. Their hazy IPA is also the best I’ve had on 3rd Ave. Great service as well.

The best pizza I've ever had in southern California, and their house brews are delicious, highly recommend the muffin man for it's novelty taste! Staff were very friendly and helpful!

Unbelievable.....got there at 7 pm and order 2 slices of cheese pizza. Cancelled the order after waiting 45 min. What happened to customer service? not one employee kept me posted during the wait for 2 slices of pizza, while everyone else was getting their orders.

One of the many solid breweries in the area. Biergarten in the back is for a chill ambience. Hazy on tap was also very impressive and garlic knots also are top notch. Fun little spot, definitely recommend to anyone checking out the area for a brewery.

Never let people get to me, but never been so humiliated in my life. Nasty nasty person, pretty sure it was the owner or manager. Please DO NOT come here, let this people go out of business. I did not reply and now the owner is assuming things that I have no idea what is she talking about. I was with no group of people, and no Idea what is she talking about. And it wasn’t the staff who treated me like trash it was YOU the owner. To make themselves look good now they are lying on things I have no idea what they are talking about food??? THE ONLY BULLY HERE IS THE PERSON WHO TREATED ME BAD .DO NOT GIVE ANY BUSINESS TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Great beer and seltzer options. The service was great. We were there during the day on a Saturday and while they weren't slow, they weren't packed either which was great. Bartender was helpful and engaging. Beautiful back patio.

Cool spot, usually a decent beer list and food. It's always VERY loud in the place though...the staff, music, everything. And the back patio is not very chill with the blaring music coming from the kitchen. I suggest keeping the music down a bit.
