I always get fast service here. I haven't used the drive thru, I like to dine in here because the area is clean and nice. The salsa bar has bomb salsa and jalapenos. Everyone here is friendly and that's why I come back. If you love chicken, this place puts KFC and Popeyes to shame. With prices and quality.

Good customer service, but had a horrible experience today with my purchase. I went through their drive-thru, I ordered a double Avocado Salad. Oh what a terrible surprise I got when I got home and discovered that they had given me a piece of avocado that has gone bad, and it also supposed to be double avocado salad, but it was only a little piece. Really disappointed with my food today.

Update 2023 The fire grill combo specials are the best value made fresh and and really good. You can get chips instead of tortillas. **** Keto, low fat, vegetarian, vegan, and carnivore eating options are available. Restaurants have to be competitive in the food game. I like that El Pollo have improved their menu with a variety of choices for even picky eaters. Much of the food is bland and salt doesn't really enhance the flavor. What I do like is the red salsa which is tangy and spicy and quite flavorful. I ordered the chicken tostada without beans and rice and was concerned if this would be satisfying enough. It was. Especially with the salsa and the delicious cilantro dressing. I would prefer no iceberg lettuce. Or at least shred the lettuce to be better received as a customer. The value is expensive. In fact, buy your own ingredients, save money, and have 3 salads for the price of one. However, if you need a quick, relatively healthy choice, El Pollo can meet the standard. The service was quite impeccable, fast, and friendly. Tables, counters and the restaurant in general were clean. Also the drive thru was crowded at 12 pm but I went in and didn't have to wait too long If I'm in a lunch crunch, I would likely return.

My girlfriend and I bought 2 carne asada burritos. We were halfway thru the burritos when both of us got sick. We both experienced diarrhea. I will never eat at El Pollo Loco again. And don't recommend this place to anyone.

El Pollo Loco is underrated. The meal deal we got was like $25 and easily could have fed four people.

I ordered the Pollo bowl with double chicken. I received a bowl of mush. Don't understand how they can serve such a low quality meal and expect customers to return.

I order in the drive-thru they took my order and everything was fine until they told me to go to the front an wait because they were waiting for my quesadilla an I did after 5 to 8 minutes this lady brings me the quesadilla but forgot the rest of the order she didn't say sorry for the inconvenience they didn't Even offer me something complementary like a drink or desert that's the least they could do but no they didn't do anything I'm so disappointed because this is the location I like to go every time I want to eat pollo loco the food is very good but this time the service was horrible.

I visited this location for lunch on a rainy day. Floor was a bit slippery, observed a gentleman coming in the store using crushes and nobody offer any kind of help. When his name was called when his order was ready to pick up. He managed balancing his tray and his crushes and again no help was offer.

We got the 4 PC combo with legs and thighs, Mac and cheese and Mexican rice as sides, shredded chicken nachos (w/o Pico de gallo), and churros. Overall amazing, the only dud was the Mac and cheese lol. Would eat everything else again.

The attention of each one of the workers was truly exceptional. I even asked to know who was in charge and I really congratulated him. I will really return with my family.

Generally, food is ready when you request a specific time. I come here a lot and have had to wait for my food only one time. Orders are generally accurate. A great feature of the app is letting you select the time you want to pick up your food. It doesn't matter how far you live from the restaurant the food will be hot when you pick it up because they don't bag it until the last moment. If you're early, just park in their lot and wait until it's time to get in the drive thru line.

I'm giving this location 4 stars instead of 5 because of one reason. Not because the food wasn't good, it was infected great. The 4 stars I'm giving is because of the young man working the drive-thru. He was rude and kept rushing me while I was trying to order. I made the mistake of ordering just the Pollo bowl and when I remembered it came with a drink and chips and tried to correct my order, the young man took a deep breath and answered me back with a very condescending response. He said "YEAH THATS THE COMBO, NOT JUST THE BOWL. ANYTHING ELSE?" When I pulled up to the window he gave me an angry stare down and told me my total. Now I'm not sure if he was having a bad day but maybe he should be put in the back so he doesn't work with customers and not have him representing this store location.

The food has been great but I dropped 3 stars for always having to return to this location because they always forget an essential side item. Can't have the salad without the dressing, cant have mashed potatoes without the gravy and you can't eat if the utensils that were asked for aren't there and you aren't home to grab extras.

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but the employee working here in the evening on Sunday night was very rude. There was hair in our food and after bringing it back the employees were just very rude and reluctant to give us a refund. I usually don't like to complain and know it's not their aunt that hair got in the food but still. No reason to be rude to customers. Just lost appetite and wanted a refund.

Oven was busted for Christmas dinner, Pollo Loco to the rescue. Family liked the new twist on traditional dinner.

I am trying to taste different locations of Pollo Loco, this one has very nice people, but the taste of the chicken was inferior. One thing that I didn't like is that the person receiving the money for the payments use the same gloves to handle the food.

The good: drive through was fast, food was good, didn't try to up sell, accommodated more than one order per car. The bad: messed up the second order but corrected it at the window The ugly: smallest burrito I ever paid 8.49 for ever.

First of all, I get spam with a lot of coupons and then I decided to use one using the curve side service. Many technical problems using the app from PL end, then I had to call in and no one can give me help ordering, so I walked in and I wait a the lobby for some help and they asked me to do my order at the front counter. Jessica, the cashier took my order with the worst actitud; minutes later a gentleman called my name and add salsas and handed me my bag, so when I get home items were missing and I called right away but they're picking up the phone and hung up on me several times until another lady finally took my call. She asked to come back for the soda. I live far from PL and I told her that I was already far from the restaurant. So bad app, bad actitud, rude customers service and an unfulfilled order.

Ok, so ads do work and in our case, we drove over to the nearest Pollo Loco to try out their new Birria combos. Let me be clear, their chicken is on spot and would always give high ratings for taste. But the Birria plates is something else. For $9.99 you get a small cup of Birria stew (possibly 25 cent ramen soup without noodles), chips, salsa fresca and your choice of 2 crunchy tacos, quesadilla or burrito. We tried the quesadilla and tacos. Spoiler Alert, throw out all expectations of Birria anything before you start craving these belly purgers. For starters, the food has a foul chemical smell that you can't identify as something that would be edible. We thought it was the cardboard but it turned out to be the stew. The tacos tasted like a burger king taco (remember those?) Dipped in 30 day old oil. And speaking of oil, anybody say Exxon Valdez? The quesadilla wasn't as bad but did not meet any Birria expectations by a long shot. The best part about this quesadilla is that they didn't deep fry it like the tacos. I can't really speak much about the burrito but I think that the upside of this was that I didn't have to taste it. The overall experience was (can you tell) not good enough to consider it bad. My best suggestion to El Pollo Loco is to stop their commercials and jettison the whole Birria campaign and leave this experiment behind so it's only a distant failure. Maybe I'm just too Mexican with high expectations and then again, maybe I wasn't hungry enough to mask the odor and taste of oil. All I can say is that it's a try once and never again. Sorry but that's my personal opinion and some May disagree but that my story and I'm sticking to it.

I don't order much when we visit El Pollo Loco. Usually a tortilla soup, maybe a taco, but more often than not, we just order the 8-Piece Chicken-Only option. We really like their chicken, as it's pretty much the only fast food in the area that serves grilled chicken rather than fried. If you're keto or if you just want to get some chicken to accompany a meal back at home that's missing the protein, this is a great place to go
