Beautiful hotel in the city of Bogor. With the feel of an ancient palace and the air, although not hot but not too cold. The large gardens make this a great place for a pretty stroll in the morning or evening. Everything is pretty good in my opinion. Unfortunately there are some things that are a bit lacking in my opinion. One of them is the room. I happened to take a room with a bathtub, actually it was good but maybe it can be noticed again that the room design is old and the bathtub facilities can be kept clean. If only things like this could be improved, then I'm sure Novotel will definitely move forward. Don't let me feel the hotel is good but the rooms are old and old fashioned.

A very nice view and hotel facility. But big no for the room service/facility/cleanliness. Stay for 2 nights. Only found receptionist & a staff in Mahoni Bar who are good in service. Room was dirty, you can see that there are many ants, a spider web in a place they save cups, coffee, tea etc, refrigerator is full of ice, toilet door did not work properly. 2nd day, I was asking them to clean my room, however the glasses were not replaced with the new one, they just wash it and place it in the sink (how come?). They also didn't pick up the dirty dishes (which the food provided by the hotel) and refill the coffee, tea & sugar. Called the operator but never picked up.

I supported the organization of a workshop at the hotel and I highly recommend it as a meeting venue and hosting events. They are so well organised and resourceful. They supported us in every little aspect and the event was a success. The staff at the reception were particularly incredible. Additionally, the hotel rooms are great and the entire hotel structure is beautiful and comfortable. The food was fantastic, the service in general was great and the staff were so nice and helpful. I recommend the hotel not only for a meeting venue but also for staying as a family and have some days off. They have a good structure for the young ones too, what is very convenient. Last but not least, I also recommend the spa and massage treatment. I had the best massage ever. If you are there, save some time for the spa, it is worth!

The facilities are not modern, but I can feel the Indonesian tradition. I loved the 'Sunda music' that was always playing wherever I went. The staff were so friendly. It's a bit cold here until the morning. I don't know is there a heater?? but I had to feel the cold every night. The room was very humid(but there was no mold) That was interesting...

Superb hotel. The architecture is amazing, clean, and new. The management had renovated the lobby and rooms recently. They have lots of activity for children such as playground, free bike, kiddie pools, mini zoo, and huge garden with statues to run around. The room is amazing, king size bed, automatic blind, nice lighting, bathroom with enormous mirror. Some suggestion: please increase the wifi speed and more attention for breakfast menu. Overall such a pleasant stay here.

i'm very impressed with the architecture and the lush garden they have. the entrance was very grande it wowed me the moment i arrived. i stayed at the newly renovated room, the ambience was great. great job for the new renovation design. i passed through the hallway which havent been renovated yet. it felt like i was going back to 20-30years ago. i think they will renovate it as well someday i love the place, the swimming pool was beautiful(except the unrenovated toilet and shower room nearby), mini zoo can be a little bit taken care of but it's enough amusing for kids, they have tennis court and basketball court, i think it will be very exciting for groups. one thing a bit bothering is the food and the bees when i was eating at meranti restaurant. breakfast was varied but not that tasty, maybe we should try the italian restaurant for serious culinary though. the bees were swarming at our table when we were eating. i understand that it might be pretty hard to solve this one as the restaurant is an open space in the middle of nature. i hope this summarize our stay and can give a positive feedback for the hotel ;)

15 years ago the hotel was one of my favorite, still from the exterior and surrounding, but certainly not from the unrenovated room. I don't mind old style if it's clean and comfortable, but some area seems hardly being cleaned (i.e. cupboard), the coffee and tea under the sink turned me off, you never know what grows in there, a fungus maybe? Better not risk your health. AC control is unreadable, just use feeling to set up. If it's not because of training, I would be happy to move to the next door hotel.

I recommend to choose the new renovated room unless you are okay with old fashioned room and dont mind with some cleanliness issues. Found a 4cm spider in the room, cobweb in the cupboard, small bathroom. Great lobby and restaurant, but the other facilities such as gym need major refurbish. Swimming pool is too small compare to the occupancy and also need refurbishment esp since its outside with trees above, many leaves and branches fell into the pool. Service and location is just OK.

We did not book the cheapest room. And the picture seems spacious and clean, although it is abit old. I was shocked to see the condition of the room upon check-in. Lobby, pool and common areas is decent. But the room we got , the quality of maintainance is really bad. It is like 2 or 3 star hotel. Different colour of lighting, holes in the floor. Cracks and cables on the furniture.

This hotel is huge with lot of garden and variety activities. The room itself is clean, doesn't smell, tidy, good lighting, and good view. The garden is maintained everyday (you can see gardener working everyday). The restaurant has a lot of menu from Indonesian to Western. The view is amazing and relaxing. There is basketball field, swimming pool, and Ping Pong table. For family with kids can join lot of activities from the hotel or going to mini zoo. FYI (year 2022), half part of the hotel is still an old style (maybe they haven't renovated it) and half of it is new and more modern. You could ask to move to modern building, if there still a room.

Terrible experience. I checked in at 10 pm on June 25, 2023 (will be staying until June 28, 2023) after a long trip. I was so tired and I would like to take a bath. The hot water at room 137 was so slow to heat up (took about 10 min for the outside bathroom) and the weirdest thing was that the towels weren't in the room. How could the staff not prepare such a basic thing? And I couldn't imagine if I was accused of stealing this stuff and having my credit card charged (which we normally knew it after several weeks)!! I called the FO and asked why they failed to meet this basic service. I am so disappointed. Plus the furniture and decoration were kind of old too.

Novotel Bogor has one of the most amazing layout I’ve seen. The designs are classy, elegant with Javanese arts and style all around the hotel. Its layouts are a head to head competition with its sister hotel in Bogor. The service are amazing, check in process was quick and easy by Immanuel, there was a problem, but Me Arief handled it really well. Most of the things they should improve are due to its age, the hotel was built in 1996/ 1997, but generally it is well maintained and they have renovated some of the wings and it it is easily could be my fave hotels in the future. Looking forward to stay in the near future.

The room is spacious with little balcony and outstanding green view. The air is amazing, the facilities are awesome. They offered wide range of buffet breakfast. Lots of choice for children (not spicy). There's also free good taste coffee

Was spending the New Year with families here. The ambience was great, the rooms were good, the service were top notch and the services during breakfast were always excellent. Assisted by Anne for the New Year activities which was amazing. Will be back for sure!

This place need a major overhaul for the room interior.. what I get is less than what I expected for the price. My room was classic type, my AC fan control was broken, they offered to change the room but I rejected, because that type of AC itself shouldnt be exist anymore in the first place. exterior and the building itself were outstanding.. but the bathroom and the toilet area are separated and super small..

Just renovated and reopen on Oct 2020. Now become so fresh and really resort feeling with its wood construction and big pool in front. They renovated all 76rooms of East Wing become brighter, minimalist model room and nice lighting bathroom. While the West wing rooms still same with their classic type. Perfect for rest and calming time. Very recommended

After being renovated, it looks amazing now. The rooms are also modern-looking now, and service is excellent as always. The breakfast area was semi-outdoor so it's safer to dine-in during the pandemic as opposed to indoor-only dine-in. There weren't many people when we stayed there so it made the stay better for me.

This was one of my favorite hotel. I was able to stay in their new family room on my last visit, but there are many things that should be improved. The safe deposit box at my room was not working and my room service order was cold already when arrived at my room. The pool and feeding area should be maintained. On the other hand, food are delicious. Pizzas and pastas at capriccio are a must try

Tapi saat dine in di resto pkl.14:00an, petugas F&B di resto bilangnya mau di refill lauknya dulu.. alhasil cm makan apa yang ada aja. Tidak sempat nunggu refill. Hanya ikan gurame tepungnya yg much more better... tidak amis👍🏼 Name tag utk jenis makanan tidak sesuai dgn jenis makanan yg disajikan. Tertulis buncis, ternyata kacang panjang. Tertulis sambal hijau, ternyata sambal merah. Good, masih menjalankan prokes utk pengambilan makanan walaupun secara buffet.

Stayed at Novotel Bogor for family staycation on early of Dec 2021. The positive feedback : 1. Welcoming drink was ok. The staff there was friendly. 2. The food was variety. The traditional and western foods. 3. The staff was friendly. The negative feedback : 1. Late respond on check-in process. 1 day before our day D, the reservation checked with us about the arrival time but the fact when we arrived there, we should wait for 2 hours. Even though, we got the discount-voucher for spa treatment but the voucher was valid if ONLY we did some purchasing for treatment. It means "useless", right? 2. The swimming pool condition: was too dirty. Found some flakes on the bottom of the pool. It might hurt our leg. Fishy smell on the shallow pool. Too much mossy on the pool wall. 3. Need to put some signages "which area for ATV, biking, tennis court/basketball/volleyball" on the drop off area...so the guests would have their planning "what to do" during staying there. 4. Parking area : should be much neat. In & out area should be different area in order to avoid an accident. Whenever the parking officers were away from our parking car area. We couldn't depend on the officers. 1-2 officers handled that such of capacious parking area.

I came here many times since early 2000 to get a 'resort feel' getaway not far from Jakarta.. Sadly everything is old already, time for a total renovation, better maintenance, rooms smells like an old grandma house, sofa upholstery never change, hot water takes long to get hot.. etc..

Seek for a tranquility? Come and stay here. Food taste good with many choices of menus. Old buildings seems to have been renovated but still be easily recognized. Costly? It’s 5 star hotel.

Nice hotel for a weekend get away from busy city life , although rooms are quite old and certainly pillows are not as per Novotel standard. Food is good and staff is helpful so all in all good experience.

An old resort, but well kept. We had 2 nights' stay with kids, so we got an extra bed (that's comfy). The rooms are spacious and neat. The facilities are varied and can keep kids occupied. There are theatres, mini zoo, a swimming pool, outdoor play area (mini flying fox, shooting arrows, etc). The landscape and design is overall restful.

i booked for 2 rooms, i was blown away by the pictures on the website. the lobby is very good and the restaurant is quite good. but when we entered the room, what we got was very ugly. the rooms are very old and the facilities are not worthy of being called 4 stars. there is not even any information that this room is very old like a motel

The rooms are nice. Got the new room after renovation and everything is nice. The only issue is that the room is not sound proof, you could hear neighbors slamming doors when they went in or out of the room and also ring bells (quite annoying when this happens during midnight or very early morning). Staff were friendly and the location was also not very far from toll.

Stayed here for 3 days with my wife while visiting family nearby. Definitely had the resort/Bali vibes. Pros: -breakfast variety. Plenty to choose from. -ambiance -outdoor bathtub in room Cons: -room was outdated. Had 90's feel to it. -Room A/C was not fully blowing cold. Told the front desk, and had it repaired. -breakfast items stayed the same. Would be nice if menu changed daily -breakfast pastries covered in fruit flies/bugs. Recommend they cover them/put them in cases. Fruits not being refilled. -bugs in room. Left some pastries on our dresser in a bag that we got from a local bakery. Came back later in the day to see them covered in ants. -bed was stiff

I love this hotel so much! So many outdoor areas: mini zoo, badminton/basketball court, a little outbound area, and a mini race for kids. The swimming pool is so-so because they have no slide. The breakfast is very nice because there are so many menus we can choose, and the restaurant is surrounded by greeneries 😍. They have an outdoor cinema at night with bag beans. The only downside was because we chose a room with a bathtub. It was on the ground floor so it lacked sunlight, and the room was a bit old. Just make sure that you choose the new rooms when you make a reservation at this hotel. My son enjoyed sliding on the bathtub anyway, so it was still worth it.

Love Novotel Bogor, The hotel is very family friendly and many amenities for children.. The renovated rooms are modern and very comfy. We checked in today with Accor Plus member and got free upgrade from the very friendly reception staff - Mr. Immanuel. Very recommended for a short weekend get away.

Everything is great! The staff, the room, the food is awesome. But, i have a little advice since you're not allowed the guess to smoked in the room why not put an ashtray right beside the sofa in front of the elevator instead of you put it between the elevator!

Hotel view and ambience are very good and very green also very nature. I like it, however the rooms looks a bit old also the shower not proper, need to refurbished. Restaurants for dinner as well as breakfast is so so not fantastic and lack of staffs thus serving looks bad.

Stayed here for company’s outing, the hotel looks dated but I think it has been renovated recently. Food is good, but the only problem is the shower/hot water. The temperature is not consistent and keeps changing, ranging from very hot to cold…

love the experience staying here. the green grass and trees and bushes are well maintained. i must say I'm impressed, all the staff are super kind. The room tha i first stayed in were okay, the room itself has an old vintage-ey vibes, and it's pretty spacious with outdoor bathtubs and nice view but the door lock were kinda hard that i had to get a help to get in. And the next room is the modern room, where it's giving a futuristic minimalist, 10/10 loved it, every furniture were clean and neat. definitely would go back! not to mention the view from the dining area are immaculate ✨

It was very welcoming. the hotel surrounding atmosphere was also great The room definitely needs some works, a couple of the AC plug was wobbling, the door latch was missing, water pressure is mediocre, heated like a pulse, hot and cold, like my ex. Came here to stay one night for a company event at this resort. This resort is very big with many rooms, a big conference hall with a wide LED screen for presentations, a swimming pool, and outdoor area that is suitable for the company's outbound. This resort has so many water ponds from the entrance that make it feel cozy. Food 🍲: there is a big restaurant and a bar here. The bar is open until late at night when visitors can drink alcohol and watch World Cup on a big screen. The restaurant is huge with various food from Japanese foods, deserts, Indonesian food, and western food. I like the dessert as they have many cake options here. Both restaurants have an outdoor atmosphere and even have a gazebo for relaxation. Room 🏡: the room is quite spacious with two big beds that have more space for a sofa and an extra bed. The toilet is also very spacious with a sliding door separating the room from the toilet. The TV has local and international channels. Recommend this place for relaxation and for big group activities that require a lot of space.

One of the most beautiful hotel in Indonesia in my opinion. This hotel is comprised of several buildings surrounding green garden and pools. The view inside the hotel facility can already make you comfortable and relax. The staffs were very supporting and polite. Two thumbs up. So pity I didn't get the chance to stay in their rooms. But I believe the room facility can meet your comfortable and luxury expectation. The only thing I didn't really like frkm this hotel is the location of it. It is located outside the Bogor central city. It is quite difficult for you to access main tourist interest spots and redtaurants in Bogor from this hotel.

The worst Novotel I ever stayed. Lost my booking on check in waited 30 minutes sitting there! Low water pressure! Multifunction switch making light on all night! Malfunction intercom phone that can’t call at all! No one answering my call when dial to land line! Super old! Tiles in toilet slippery! Squeaking wood floor! NEVER COMING BACK!!!

We went there on a weekday and it was not too crowded, the check-in went pretty smooth. As we entered the room, you could see the view of the tropical trees. The room itself was pretty chill but a bit outdated. The toilet quite ok but a little bit dirty. We had breakfast and lunch buffet and the selection was great. The food was ok. I really liked the cappuccino they served and also the indonesian food section, the waiters were nice and friendly. We also requested late check out due to preparing our baby for leaving and they let us even though they were full.

we stayed for two nights at the deluxe room with bath tub, we were amazed by the pictures on the net how it looked spacious clean and luxurious. but i was a little disappointed by how gloomy and humid it was. the semi outdoor concept of the bathtub is not like what i’ve had before with other hotels. it was a little dusty when we get there, the surface of the bathup was already chipped off here and there. and it took very long for the hot water to come out. found some dead insects too inside so i spared some time to actually clean the tube before using it 🤣🤣🤣 i dont know about the safety and the privacy with our balcony, because when i was in the tub i can see a cleaning service guy walking and sweeping outside our room, and i was a little worried but thank God my husband is outside being a lookout, but i thought it was so unnecessary. on our second night, we were heading out for our occasion and called the operator to have the housekeeping tidy our room by the time we get back. we called around 16.00 and get back at around 20.00 and room was still unclean and untidy just like how we left it. we called back the operator and the girl wasn’t aware about the situation and asked about the time we called before, turns out the housekeeper came and showed us their checklist book and showed that they already checked our room as cleaned, so i dont know who to blame 🤣🤣 so we waited outside for the housekeepers to clean our room. what a way to end our tiring night 😭😭😭 the breakfast was okay, there’s a lot of variety but i guess there was a little miscommunication with the front office. when we checked in, we were offered to open our tab by cash and pay at the check out. but when we got to the restaurant we were told to pay up front. we explained the condition as we didnt bring our belongings at breakfast, but the restaurant cashier said that the current FO said that i should pay at the restaurant, and she handed me the phone to talk to the FO by myself (😅) i refused to talk as i was OFFERED to open the tab when i get in, and we eventually paid it by the time we checked out with no problem. The service overall was good, the scenery was nice, loving the garden and the lobby lightings, the swimming pool was under construction when we get there. just a little disappointed with our room with the price point. 6/10

Terrible first experience with hotel staff that didn't care customer like us I faced air conditioner problem during my first day stay, then I asked hotel staff to check whether it could fix or not, if not please change my room. And then I went to the dinner about 3 hours. You can imagine what it was happening to me !!! I backed from dinner with tired after long day activity. I connected at lobby, hotel staff said everything done and hotel fully booked, couldn't change the room. I'm fine if everything was done but NO. Finally I had to pack my luggage and took them by myself to lobby, and told them I couldn't sleep without air conditioner. At the end, i got new room with good air conditioner. So you can know what is my feeling with this hotel. One and only time in my life

What a surprising place!! It’s kind of a mix between Bali and Java. Stunning garden, with green, swimming pools, playground and a tiny ‘farm’ with small animals. Nice ambiance and again very, very kind employees. We didn’t stayed there in a room but we had a nice evening buffet. But next time we will book here most likely.

Pros : ✅ Great facility and interior. Nice choice if you want to take esthetic pictures. ✅ Tranquil ambience and nice greenery view. ✅ The Security staffs are very helpful with parking management. Cons : ❗️Lipstick stain on the new glass freshly delivered by the staff provided for free welcome drink. Hygiene check in here needs to be questioned. ❗️Free room upgrade initiated by the reception staff but giving the wrong bed type because there’s a miscommunication between housekeeping and reception staff. Ultimately, they gave us back the original room lol. ❗️The reception doesn’t inform us about the details of breakfast location and time. We have to be the one asking first for several other details which is funny because usually this is not the way you treat your guests in 5 star hotels. You need to be more initiative in communicating. ❗️Long line of queue, probably need to add more reception staff during high-season. ❗️Mold on bathroom ceiling in the old room type, the wall paint in the bathroom and bedroom also needs some repainting. I think the management and communication skills in reception and housekeeping department definitely needs more polishing. It disappoints me greatly the way they communicate things.

The renovation work has successfully brought this hotel back to the map. The main restaurant is now a lot closer, and various seating arrangements is scattered in front of the hotel over the man-made shallow pond is simply clever and beautiful to look at especially during night times. The room design remains untouched and some items have seen better days. Redesigning may be very difficult to execute, but refurbishing furnitures may bring new life to the rooms.

We just had the most incredible meal at the beautiful restaurant and it was delicious, service we received from all staff is excellent. Friendly, welcoming, polite, attentive, and just generally superb, so thank you, you guys work so hard and we can tell you are so passionate about your job and the experience you offer your guests.

Really really great place. Starting from check in process, you can feel a good ambience. Helped with Immanuel during checkin process, In fact, he offered me AccorPlus, explained it very well. Very good cross-selling techniques 😁 Excellent children’s activity as well. Will defenately stayed there often…

Love the room style and it is spacious. Just the floor isnt clean enough little bit. Staff are very kind, The resort is beautiful, the architecture amazed me. Kind of bali vibes The outbond facilities for kids is good, i hope there are more swings and slide for kids in the future

We stayed here for one night during weekend. Small family and stayed in a superior twin room. There were lots of greens and nearby golf course area. Swimming pool was small but it has kids area. Room was okay, it was fine, and we requested another extra bed for convenience. In room dining were spot on, rainy evening so we stayed inside and enjoyed in room dining. Menu was ordered with QR web app and was very handy. Check-in and check-out were very quick and smooth. Overall very pleased with the hospitality. Recommended for a quick staycation avoiding the traffic at puncak.

All nice, breakfast is super complete from indonesian to pastry and sushi. Service is excellent, especially mr Agie (waiter Meranti Restaurant). Room is good, ac ok. Bath tub ok.

How come the hotel can carry out renovation work at 8 am in the morning? My rest has been destroyed. It’s fully understand that a hotel needs maintenance and repairs, yet 8 am is really too early. Moreover, the work continued despite my complaint. Don’t come to this hotel if you want a quiet holiday!!!

The overall atmosphere was as expected, it is serene and comfy. But I really appreciate the vast amount of activities available for kids to do. For parents who are just looking to stay and relax, kids' boredom could be a problem, so the activities around the hotel really helped a lot. Unfortunately there's some sort of construction going during the stay. The knocking, grinding and drilling sound can be quite a put off. It is negligible when we're inside the room, but it is quite loud in the bathtub. While the bathtub being one of the main reason for the stay, the experience is not 100% pleasant. The bathtub also could use some polishing, there are some cracks which made it looked less pleasant. I brought my own bathbombs, but I kinda think it could be a good idea if you offer and sell bathbombs to guests staying at rooms with bathtubs. And if you did sell them, you might need better visibility to ensure the guest know you sell them.

Nice place for staycation during weekend. We don’t need to go outside hotel for having a quality time with fams. We can do several activity in outdoor area with a good air quality. They have basket ball court, gym, kids activity area, swim pool, some restaurant, garden, spa, etc. Recommended place for short escape from Jakarta. Note: sorry I forgot to take a photo. However I record the basketball court view. Lol

Big name hotel with the worst service ever! Room was advertised as newly renovated but they gave me old one and I can’t ask for other room as they say it was full??? Gor sure this is a lie, the worst thing to do to a guest. Breakfast was the worst and the receptionist was not helpful at all. The worst Novotel I’ve experienced, never again.

This being our first time here, we have throroughly enjoy our stay. The staff has been helpful, responsive, and accomodating. The staff Mas Agie was very friendly. Thank you making us feel welcomed. We love it here!

A very nice resort. Well maintained and well laid out. Very spa feel. However, some common sense in the restaurant could be looked into. The beef amd chicken sausages were mixed in one container. As a non beef eater, this was a problem. Quite stupid to mix them both I to the same container. Another issue is that all the forks and spoon were hidden in drawers under the counter. At meal.tume, forks and spoon should be ON the counter.

Great room and nice color of painting the memory in the night with long swimming pool out door.....in green area if trees to create romantic memory with your self or family's Will be back again for sure 😃

I've sateyed here for a day and I got a comfortable room, good view, especially at night. The surrounding is really nice with green views and so many trees. All the employees are friendly and welcoming guests well. Recommended for family to spend holiday.
