Small Italian restaurant. Story is unique. Food is delicious. Drinks were cold. Are party consisted 3 adults and 5 children. Ages 7-12. We were seated outside. Small but cozy environment. Chicken Alfredo was delish. The kids shared pizza which was really good as well. Chicken parmigiana and lasagna are also yummy dishes. I have been to San Antonio countless times and this is the first time I’ve been. I would recommend to anyone.

I really had a great experience at Guellermo's Italian restaurant. I'll start off by saying the outside patio is very relaxing and inviting. It gets even better because the great tasting food will knock you off your feet. On my visit I had had the lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs. Both excellent choices!! The salad before the meal was super super tasty. I'll certainly be back a again. Great place to take a date for sure. Also did notice they have Happy Hour which I'll have to try next time. The service was excellent and also the manager went out of his way to thank and greet customers.I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Finally got to try this restaurant today. Devon was our waiter and provided excellent service. The patio was breezy even in 90 degree weather. We had chicken wings, Cesar salad and ice cold draft beer. All good! Definitely will return

Walked in around 7:30p on a Monday night & was greeted & sat upon arrival. We sat on the patio with our two pups- they are dog-friendly! Our waiter was super friendly and wasted no time to get our order in because we knew what we wanted. We had the Jumbo Shrimp Alfredo & the Chicken Parmigiana and the servings were large enough to take leftovers. The shrimp was super flavorful & even other patrons commented on how delicious it looked & it was! Was not disappointed- from the service, quality & atmosphere, everything was amazing

Lots of parking available and well-communicated signage helped us find our way to order. The food was CRAZY delicious. My salad exceeded my expectations. Full of flavor and texture, this salad would have been worth the trip ALONE. But I ordered pasta with bell peppers, marinara, and spicy sausage. It was flavorful, plenty, and filling. The servers were terrific. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because we were a little confused about seating. It’s spread out around corners and we weren’t sure where we were and were not allowed to sit. Sitting around the corner on a patio we were nervous our food wouldn’t find us. BUT it did. They clearly have a system that works well. I would definitely have some more Italian food from this place.

We came "all the way" up here because the very few Italian places near River Walk were too busy. Sure glad I did. Best Shrimp Scampi I've ever had, it was so creamy not buttery. My wife's the Alfredo connoisseur and gave it 2 thumbs up. Kids said pizza was better than their favorite spot back home Would definitely return.

The ambiance alone is worth a visit. You order from the bar, take a seat where you like, and they will bring you your food. The house salad was delicious and has a great balance of taste. We ordered the turkey, bacon, avocado wrap and the garlic cheese pizza. They were both full of flavor. I definitely will be back to try more off of their menu.

Despite it being a short walk south from my apartment I kept putting off trying this spot. I’m kicking myself for waiting so long! I joined them for the last stretch of their happy hour, and was impressed with their layout. I sat on their patio and enjoyed the view of downtown, the passersby . It’s especially lovely when the weather is nice. Their menu is overwhelming. I had to practice self control and ended up ordering their calamari and a Mediterranean pizza. The latter was definitely a solid pie, I loved the crunch of the crust. The jalapeño dip with the squid was delicious. Took a while to get my drink, but I didn’t mind the wait. When you’re able to enjoy the space and are with good company you just enjoy the vibes!

We were seated quickly, had a nice server, food was delicious, and the pricing and the portions were spots on. They also have a patio that is dog friendly. I had the chicken and pepperoni lasagna. My bf had a calzone stuffed with pepperoni, bacon, and salami. Pepperoni was tasty and of good quality ,the sauce was a little sweet, and they do not skimp on the cheese! The fries, garlic butter bread, salad, and sweet tea were also 👌🏾. Can't wait to return

Stopped in for an early dinner and the service was great, but the food was just okay. I ordered the chicken avocado pasta Caesar salad and my husband got buffalo wings. The wings did not taste like a classic buffalo sauce, there was something off with the seasoning. The salad was good but felt like something was missing. We did order margaritas for happy hour and those were great.

Went to a volleyball game at a near by high school and stumbled upon Guillermo's. They have an open patio and bar that can be seen off McCullough St. looked very inviting. We choose to sit inside and found an interesting set up with a wide variety of decorations. We had a bit off sticker shock when we saw that the prices averaged about $18 per plate but that went away quickly after our meal started. We started off with a terrific house salad, I had Chicken Parmesan with Speghetti my wife ordered the Lasagna. The serving were large enough that we both shared with our 8 year old grandson. Our waiter was very attentive and we found a new Italian restaurant that's open late. Come to Guillermo's enjoy a great meal and maybe see the ghost!

Amazing food & service was outstanding. This was our first time visiting as we were headed to the Tobin Center for an event. Pizza took around 15-20 minutes, and the gluten-free crust was outstanding. All in all, highly recommended 👌 !

We absolutely loved this restaurant. Great food and drinks. Very romantic place to take your partner. The drinks are strong. Our food was so flavorful and large portions. They have indoor and outdoor seating, plus plenty of parking for a downtown spot. Great menu with all kinds of options. Everything from Italian to burgers and wings.

As soon as I learned about this little gem near downtown I made sure to check it out. Visiting from the Midwest and It’s like Nonas cooking with the sweet hometown San Antonio flair! The food is delicious. We ordered the chicken Alfredo, mushroom spinach pasta (marinara sauce), and chicken pepperoni lasagna. The lunch specials are a deal because they came with a salad and entree. Don’t forget to try the Guillermo’s salad. The staff is kind and friendly and the atmosphere is a vibe. Oops, forgot food pics but I promise the food was super yummy — we were excited to eat! Bring your fam, friends, coworkers, your honeybun, etc…You won’t regret it!!Run, don’t walk!!🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️✨

You have to try the wings they will not disappoint! You have the option to eat inside or the patio. We also tried the pizza, and that did not disappoint either. Nice atmosphere! Cool artwork.

Food was Okay,I think maybe they were short of staff yesterday, so the service was slow. When the salad finally arrived, we found lots of wilted greens and we had to send it back to the kitchen. But they fixed it and changed it with freshly made salad.

Cute, family-friendly place. We just got to San Antonio, and I was craving pizza. 🍕 The pizza was pretty good. The parking lot is in the back where you can access the entrance. There is a sign that clearly states to wait to be seated. Be sure to do so because I overheard some people complaining about not having a server, but they hadn't checked in with the host. 🤦🏻‍♀️ There's outside seating as well as tables inside. We sat inside since it's cold right now. It took about 10 minutes for our server to come, and he came ready with waters for everyone. I liked that. 👍🏼The host had given us menus, so we were ready to order by the time or server, Edgar, came to the table. We ordered an 18" Guillermos Combo pizza and another 12". The Guillermos combo is basically a "build your own" option. The smaller one was a pepperoni pizza, and we ordered the large with bacon, sausage, ham, bell peppers, and mushrooms. The service was decent. He checked up on us, but it did seem as though the servers' tables were scattered throughout the whole place. We bought a 🍪 on our way out. They're pretty big (bigger than the palm of my hand) and taste okay.

Satisfying, flavorful, and generous portions. The menu is varied and everyone can find something to enjoy. From salads starting at just under $9 and meals up to $20 and adding in one or two appetizers a family of three could eat for $40-$100. Not budget friendly, but with seating accommodations inside and out, a pet friendly patio and food that doesn’t disappoint it’s worth a repeat.

Home-y and comfortable vibes at Guillermo's with an intriguing story about the restaurant's ghost by the host stand. Delicious food that was promptly ready alongside friendly service. My buddy had the calzone. We shared a spinach dip which was good. I created my own pizza with a vegan crust and vegan cheese alongside some veggies. I'm not fully vegan but I always say if a place has good vegan pizza then the regular pizza is def one to try! Next time I'm going all in

Great server... the person that greeted us first had us almost turn away because of the lack of professionalism. The food was good... not bad... not amazing... kind of a quirky place with different levels and areas to dine. The outside patio was nice. Good selection of cocktails and pretty good beer selection for an Italian restaurant Definitely worth a vist..visit... not sure if we will be back... but enjoyed our meal

Guillermo's is INSANELY good. It's a hidden gem in San Antonio and I'm so glad we chose to go there. If you like Italian food you'll love their dishes. The portions will fill you up so go hungry. Before we got our main dishes we already decided we will be eating there everytime we vacation in San Antonio. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert but next time we'll get it to go. Our waiter (we cant remember his name but he had blonde hair) was so nice and knowledgeable. The decor is neat and the restaurant is in a house but has lots of outdoor seating. The sky was beautiful, the breeze felt great and our food was amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would. SA is so lucky to have this restaurant.

Absolutely everything we had was great. I highly recommend the ceviche. We also had the calamari which was good. I remembered to snap a picture after I started on my Mediterranean pizza. Everything was gone too quick. The vegan crust was amazing. My husband had a wrap which was delicious. We will definitely be back!
