I once had this place rated at 5 stars. I'm changing my review because it's gone downhill dramatically. I've been coming here for over a year and a half. I'm here typically after midnight. The night shift is absolutely awful. There's never anyone at the front desk. The paper towel holders are empty. Spray bottles empty. Bathrooms a mess. Trash on the floor. There was only one good employee here. Jason and I haven't seen him in a few weeks. It seems like he was the only one that put in work here. Not only has the overall cleanliness lapsed but the general maintenance has gone downhill too. There's also this weird thing where the water shuts off for hours at a time and the staff does nothing to compensate for this. I think this will be my last month at this gym.

We are a military family. We have a membership for our 17 year old daughter. Black card membership, the young lady Gabby was very rude to my daughter. I was listening to her on my daughter phone. I decided to call the desk while my daughter was standing there, she changed her tone fast. Although PF was having some kind of glitch in their computer. Ms. Gabby, thought it was okay to talk to my child in a very rude manner. That employee would benefit from customer service training. or something that involves not talking to customers.

Prob one of the worst PFs I’ve ever been to. Half of the stairs have been out for months, and I’ve been waiting for literally 20 min to get to workout. They’re lazy abt changing out paper towels, and they’re either empty or they just place the replacement paper towels ON THE TRASH CAN. 🤢 Weights are rarely returned by staff, and I’ve found them sitting in the wrong place for days. I genuinely haven’t written a bad review bc idc, and the staff are nice, but I’m genuinely v annoyed abt the stairMaster situation, and hope this accomplishes something .

Worst experience ever I have never worked out here ever, I had a friend from outside the US come and visit me and she worked out a lot so I kindly helped her get a membership. After doing so, we went into the location and no one at the counter was there to help her learn where things are at and what was expected when coming to the gym. They all just stared at us like we were a bother to them. Later finding out one of them was a manager. My friend had left the country to go back home and she had thought she canceled the membership which unfortunately was not. I have also since moved to a whole new state. I have BEEN calling and leaving messages to get them to cancel the membership but they still have yet to cancel it just keep charging my card and NO manager has contacted me back about the matter. Worst possible customer service I have ever experienced knowing it had to deal with someone else’s finances. Again I have never worked out there before ever and they aren’t letting me get it canceled over the phone because it’s my friends name on the account but MY card. She left back in March and they have been charging me since. I will never be going to ANY planet fitness for that matter and I will be filing a fraudulent charges with my bank for them charging my card without authorization because I’ve been telling them not to.

They don’t do their jobs! I relocated from out of state and went to a location near me to switch home gyms and bank account information. Well, the staff member never switched my information or deleted the previous card on file and they continued to charge said card without my permission. I am STILL waiting for a refund but that naturally that has to be approved by this and that person. Just the runaround it seems! This place sucks.

Zack at this planet fitness location is an absolute upstanding guy and went out of his way to correct a situation that could have cost me a lot of money, and being a full time student that is incredibly meaningful. He communicated with me on many occasions to make sure I was taken care of. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE ZACK, not only at planet fitness but in the world. I’m not crazy about planet fitness,(just because I’m used to a powerlifting gym) but I absolutely salute Zack and hope the man gets recognized for his honorable actions and stand up showmanship.

I like how big this planet fitness is. Along with how the equipment, specifically, the squat racks are taken care of to easily like the plates on and off. I believe if more stairclimber and some row machine were add this gym would do amazing! The restroom is big compare to other planet fitness I’ve been to.

It was my first time ever going to this gym and I was a lil impressed at how clean the bathroom/locker room was. The actual gym area was very clean as well, with handsanitizer and disinfecting spray around the area. I went in the morning, so there really wasn't a crowd. Will visit again. 😊💪🏾

Employees are awesome, my only gripe is that they still haven’t updated their equipment. Every other location here in San Antonio has newer equipment. To top it off this past month I’ve seen 5 roaches. Most haven’t been picked up either. Just kinda adds to the decline of this location.

Very clean and well sized facility, better than some of the other gyms around town. Restrooms are clean and staff is courteous.

Always have a no problem with anything here usually always good today not so much I sometimes use my black card benefits and I get 2 tokens for the massage chair. But today some guy in a black shirt (think name was Arthur never seen him here.) I said I usually get 2 tokens and he said “nope”. Yes sir I Always have gotten 2 tokens. He also said I’ll give you 2 this time but it’s one… I felt weird and slightly uncomfortable. Been going to this gym for about 2 years and for him to one tell me nope implying I was wrong. Also just treating me like I was his employee not knowing the rules. Instead of a customer who’s been here for a bit. I don’t care if I was a first time in or been there for years this guy needs to show respect. wasn’t cool. Please planet fitness give this guy some guidance. The rest of the staff cool nice, they try to get to know who is coming in. The dude in the black shirt longish hair who was there at 6:55pm today not at all. Super rude made me uncomfortable for asking for the massage chair.

Rebekah is such a sweet person. Her knowledge of the equipment and how to use it is second to none. She makes coming to the gym stress free and enjoyable. Thank you!

Planet Fitness is the best option for gym needs...modern equipment, open 24 hours, clean environment. For Black card members, you can use any location and bring a guest for free on every visit. In addition, there is a Black Card only area in the facilities that offer great benefits (no additional charge), including tanning beds/booths, massage chairs, hydro massage, and Total Body Enhancement (red light therapy with vibra-shake).

The new renovation of this gym club feels way more modern and inviting. Thank you guys for adding more benches and stairmasters. I will be putting them to good use.

This Planet Fitness was recently renovated in August 2022 and has plenty of new equipment. The exercise area is kept clean and is well arranged and has plenty of room so you do not feel crowded. Always has plenty of open machines and equipment so you don't have to wait. The only negative I will mention is that they did not renovate or upgrade the locker room, restroom, or shower area. This is something that really needs to be done, especially the shower stalls, which are starting to show their age. Overall, I like going to this location and would highly recommend it.

Rebekah has been INCREDIBLE as my trainer. Under her direction, I have achieved things that I did not think possible for a 67 year old man. It's been a gradual process. But just today, I was able to do 2 sets of ten reps lifting all of the weight plates on one of the machines in the circuit room. Are you kidding me? Old guys are not supposed to be able to do that. She also set me up with a plan on the treadmill that do 4 times a week. My right knee was injured a number of years ago. It was swollen at the end of every day with fluid. But, it was not injured bad enough that surgery was necessary. By building up my leg muscles, the swelling is almost gone because the increased strength in my legs have taken pressure of my knee injury. Thank you for everything Rebekah!

Good gym with all the machines you need for a good lift. They also have tanning rooms and a hydro massage machine. I liked it until I was told Im not allowed to jump rope... I get it, no outside equipment but c'mon man! Edit: They lost a star after I was told I can't jump rope. Bummer!

Caitlin treats customers like nothing she curses talks reckless has no professionalism and no patience’s should not be a assistant manager. She has younger people working under her and she’s a horrible leader!

It’s a nice a chill spot to go check out has a variety of things you can purchase the staff is friendly the greet you and welcome you also help you decide and recommend you to try out something if you aren’t sure about the item.

This location is kept pretty clean. All the employees I've come in contact with have been nice. Some machines are out of order which isn't an issue if it's not busy. Seems like there are quite a few leaks in the roof which sometimes catch ya if your walking by. Overall good location.

Every time I go to workout, the staff is always there to greet me with a smile and a word of encouragement. They are so friendly when you need assistance in the locker room, or with one of the machines. The center is clean and well maintained. I recommend this center every time!

This planet fitness has various pieces of weight lifting equipment, from dumbbells, to machines, pull-up bars, to cardio equipment; including numerous treadmills, ellipticals, and sit-down stationary bicycles. They also have a 30 minute workout area where you can go for a quick and speedy workout, and it’s hardly crowded in there. I have had a pleasant experience so far.

Super clean gym, pretty dead when I went, but it was also on black Friday. A smaller ab/stretching area than most planet fitness, so it was a good thing it was dead when I went. Overall good gym

I've only had The black card membership for a month but so far it's been pretty great. I've been able to exercise every part of my body. There is ample exercise machines and cleaning supplies.

This was my first time stopping by this gym as a black card member and I was impressed by how big it was and the different sections were spacious. I didn't have time to check them all out! Staff was really helpful and friendly helping me navigate the space. I only took 1 star because I was misled by one employee about the price of a lock at $4 which I paid and expected change but before I left I was told it was not actually $4 and I had to fork over more money which was a tad embarrassing and I found $6.50 a little costly for a simple combination lock. Other than that, it was really nice and busy. Would still recommend

Great location and staff. I felt I was safe and in a comfortable environment. They have all the equipment needed for beginners to advanced athletes. And they keep everything super clean. Still learning how to utilize their app and find a customized workout plan for my needs and goals.
