The hostel looks nice, but the staff don’t match the effort they’ve put into making it look nice. This varies from just lousy stuff to actually disrespectful treatment of guests. Meanwhile there was an Arab guy who was drinking himself to oblivion at 9am on the public balcony, who also had a very aggressive demeanor, who they just let him do whatever he felt like doing. Just surreal.

Very apathetic receptionist whom when I talked to her she couldn't give me a straight answer. I asked about if I could stay at the hostel and that I didn't have a COVID QR code and she then said I couldn't stay at the hostel. I then asked her where else I could sleep and at that point she just gave me an apathetic "I don't know" and wasn't helpful and rude and didn't even care if I would freeze to death at night. Boycott places like this that will just not let you stay because you don't have a QR COVID code. This is discrimination and bad service and doesn't deserve business.

Very well located hostel in center of Warsaw. Close to bars, restaurant, easy to walk to the old town. Located in an old building with a lot of charm, clean rooms, with a wide variety of roome types: big and spacious, smaller ones with many beds, few kitchen areas around where to prepare small meals... In brief, a very good place with reasonable prices! Note: not suitable for who can not walk up/down the stairs

Be careful with this scammers 60781-557554782 I've booked a private doble room and they charged me in advance 8USD for it and I was notified by Hostelworld to pay the rest on site after that they try charging the money twice what's it's absurd because from the very beginning they should charge the total amount to avoid an inconvenience and the locked my bank card because I have visa security and then they cancel my booking without refund this money. They make the most of Hostelword policies to get more money. The never contacted me and I even sent them an email an nobody answer me nothing taking a thief attitude. I'll take the necessary legal action to avoid they can do the same other people.

My friend (the one who booked, Gabriel Chandonnet) and I recently stayed at Chill Out Hostel in Warsaw for four nights, and while our experience was mostly positive, there were a few issues that left us somewhat disappointed. First and foremost, the overall atmosphere and facilities of the hostel were quite good. The common areas were well-maintained, and the hostel had a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated their assistance during our stay. However, our stay took an unexpected turn on the second night. Unfortunately, my friend came down with a severe cold that resulted in a relentless cough, disturbing the two other individuals in our shared room. Despite our efforts to minimize the disturbance, it continued until the early hours of the morning, impacting the quality of sleep for everyone involved. Given the circumstances, we made the decision to find alternative accommodation for the remaining two nights. We were disappointed that the hostel did not offer any compensation or alternative arrangements to accommodate our situation. While we understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, it would have been appreciated if the hostel had been more understanding and accommodating. Leaving two days earlier meant that our beds became available for other guests, potentially allowing the hostel to make additional revenue. We feel that our decision to vacate our beds should have been taken into account when considering compensation or flexibility in our situation. Furthermore, when we checked out, we were given a single little lollipop as a gesture. While we understand that it may have been meant as a small token of appreciation, it felt a bit insulting given the circumstances we had faced during our stay. A more thoughtful gesture or acknowledgment of our experience would have been more appropriate. Despite these setbacks, we acknowledge that the Chill Out Hostel generally provides a pleasant experience. We hope that the management takes our feedback into consideration and improves their policies regarding unforeseen circumstances that may impact guests' stays. Overall, our stay at Chill Out Hostel had its ups and downs. While the initial experience was positive, the lack of compensation or flexibility regarding our situation left us somewhat dissatisfied. We believe that with some improvements in their policies, guest support, and gestures of goodwill, this hostel has the potential to be a fantastic choice for travelers visiting Warsaw. Joanick

The check-in procedure was made very difficult by the personnel. After a failed attempt I was redirected to the manager, which does not work on weekends and can only be contacted via email. I was scammed, as there was no way to get my money back (due to the very difficult contact with the manager) and I had no place to spend the night in. EDIT: I read the response of Kinga. To anyone that’s considering this hostel - DON’T GO THERE!! I was not in quarantine. I had the required EU COVID-19 documents. This response just shows me that the manager will make up any story to save the business. Do not trust them.

+ Good location, friendly staff, nice kitchen and living room - The beds are pretty uncomfortable, the base under the matress is bent like crazy - If you end up in a room facing the street, there is a bar right below that has outdoor seating until 3am! On a hot summer's day, the room got very hot (no Aircon) so you have to have to have the windows open at night but than you can't sleep because of the noise from the street. The hostel is great for everything but sleeping!

Lovely place. My room was very clean and the hostel kitchen is very good. Also the atmosphere is just great. Location is pretty central, you've Restaurants, bars, train, tram, metro around the corner. Only, small, downside is that the mattresses are very thin. You get used to it easily but thats maybe not the case for everone. All in all, I can recommend this place very much.

Hostel with good conditions. The bathroom is clean. The sockets do not work in our room. Negative impression of information in Russian everywhere. We asked the reception whether the administrator knows that Russia is a terrorist country. We received the answer: that there are many tourists from there. The biggest laugh is a message in the bathtub from planet Earth in Russian about water conservation. Russia is a terrorist country, so it is best to remove information in the hostel in the language of the occupier.

The biggest minus is that the hostel is on the 4th floor and there is not lift. So helpful and kind administrators.

Staying in a over 100 years historic building from WWII era with rustic furniture, high ceiling etc has its own charm. The room was basic without TV etc, but it ticks all boxes for the ambience, experience and most importantly the comfy bed! Perfect for short trips if you are traveling solo, or on tight budget and want to stay close to center. The location was but difficult to find, remember it's at the crossroad. The hostel reception is at the third floor with no lift, so but if stairs to climb. Also though they claim private bathroom, but you get room in a 2-3 bedroom flat with shared bathroom, kitchen etc. However, i think it's still worth 5 star for the immaculate cleanliness, the historic building and the super comfy bed. Receptionist speaks fluent English, so no communicating problem and staff are very professional.

I spent a few hours in this hostel, as soon as I arrived in town. As it was dawn, I needed a place to rest, carry my cell phone and store my backpack. The staff was attentive and my sleep was peaceful, despite the bed not being the best.

Great place to stay in Warsaw, location is the best, Vibrant and lively, lots of bars restaurants around and key landmark are walking distance away. Inside is clean and staff is friendly, especially Aga the receptionist 👍

Kuba the receptionist was so kind and helpful. The Hostel is in a 100 year old building which is just amazing but know that there is no elevator. Our long and disastrous trip (we missed the train to Katowice) found some peace in this place. Thank you!

The staff at the desk were very polite and accomodating and everything was clean, but the apartments are not practical at all. There were 15+ in our section alone with only one toilet and shower in the same room. None of the doors lock including two main doors to our apartment, so no security. There are cameras in the apartment which is unusual for a hostel and quite invasive. The beds are also incredibly loud, with a small room of 4 every time someone moved I woke up. Location isn't great.

The location is near te center and accessible with public transport. The hostel is how it is seen in the pictures. The rooms are big enough and you even have lockers with their own key so you don't really need to worry about carrying a padlock. The rooms, bathrooms and the common areas are really clean. Even the kitchen which is usually the most dirty place was clean and neat. The staff was super accesible (24 hours reception) and they were super nice. They give you maps and recommendations about the city when you need them :) Highly recommended to enjoy some days in Warsaw!!!

No blocking light curtains in the room... Small toilets and showers... No towel included... No elevator... ATTENTION: DON'T use the (expensive) laundry service if you care about your clothes!!!

I had a wonderful stay at Hostel Chillout in Warsaw. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean and well-maintained. Its convenient location made it easy to explore nearby attractions. Highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Warsaw!

The overall experience was ok and very good location. Staff did not engage much in conversation, which is not what you normally expect in hostel. But they were polite. Rooms: the outside door handle was broken, therefore you had to slam the door to close it, which is annoying when people is sleeping. Beds were very noisy and you had to do your own bed when checking in. Room was quite clean. Bathrooms: definitely need maintainance but they were kept clean.

Good hostel with a great location , clean and there is always toilet papers, a lot of rooms and bathrooms with showers. always ask for the bed down and no matter what they say they are lying i asked 2 times - 1 time they told me that its only for longer reservations which is not true. 2nd time they said its already booked which also was not true and i understood they are just full of lies. room next to the reception , which is also the kitchen will be very hard to sleep s till 8 o’clock in the morning, because you will hear a lot of people walking, eating, talking , phone ringing so it was not the best morning. ( i can hear people speaking very clear ) Prices are crazy because of the high demand at this time ,i wouldn’t say the best prices . and there is a lot of posters in the hostel that tells you (either you do this or you will pay penalty) starting from the front door .(i will try to upload pictures). it was hard to find places, but i needed a place to stay , if wasn’t this situation i wouldn’t stay her for more than 2 nights

Nice Hostel. The Hostel is quite big with 19 rooms, has a nice kitchen with everything you need. Also good room to socialize. Better Take your earplugs with you, the walls are very thin. But would definetly recommend for a stay in Warsaw.

Don't believe the picture and its in 5th floor no elevator and dirty they dishonest polish people in this hostel watch out they will steal your pelow or bed sheets and take your deposit like it happened to me this morning very nasty people plus I could not sleep because bed bugs it was horrible and becarful with the bigg girl she is very rude unprofessional and smoke like train

I am a volunteer at Central train station in Warsaw, and the woman came to me, told me they have 2 beds paid in this hostel but they managed to get the tickets for today and they don't need the place and we can offer it to someone else. She left for me her name, surname, hostel address, booking number and even pin code from booking. I called the hostel and they told me they will try to reach Albina (woman who booked the place to confirm that they refuse from booking). Anyways me and older Ukrainian couple who evacuated and didn't see shower for 3 days and went through hell in the border, were waiting for their call for 40 minutes and then I called back. They said they couldn't reach Albina so they basically can't help even though I have payment confirmation. Why would I lie in order to put 2 people into the place of someone else? I am wondering if they just freed the spot to get booked again go earn double amount for yesterday. Very disappointed.

I arrived late at night. The main gates were closed. I called the reception, they opened, I heard the next door beeping, but not the gates. Anyway I pushed the gates. I pushed and pushed. Called from the door phone about 40 times and tried to speak with them, but they pressed and hang up. I was super worried to stay at night outside, I didn’t have local SIM, but I had to use my foreign one to call on their phone. The receptionist told me to push harder, but that what I was doing all the time. I thought it must’ve been pretty clear that there’s a problem if smn calls you 40 times from the door phone. Thankfully they went down to open it. Wifi was awful. The shower on my floor was broken. Don’t give change for the deposit. But looks good and clean. Good location.
