Absolutely stunning area. The scenery has a wild and rugged grandeur. Rather off the beaten path which is kinda nice. Not to crowded. Definitely worth the visit. Tremendously beautiful.

Very nice landscape, I went there after 5pm at beginning of October, it was superquiet. There's a big parking lot about 1,5km away, but frankly I saw few cars passing and no sign whatsoever of no car access. You can then drive and park much closer to the bridge if you prefer, there are some roadside spaces here and there, especially if you just wish to take few pictures of the bridge and immediate surroundings.

Great viewpoint. Definitely worth walking up the little hill to enjoy the lake views from the benches.

Beautiful place, but a bit of a tourist trap. Lots of quieter places just like this in Killarney.

Go early in the morning.... no traffic. Beautiful drive and scenery between two mountain ranges. Tight roads but very doable in a small car.

Beautiful place to walk to visit. Do not recommend driving as the road is incredibly narrow

Absolutely stunning location. Its nature at its best....the landscape is so calming and picturesque. You can park your Car close to the bridge and have a stroll or you can park it the beginning of gap of dunloe and walk...but we need to see the place at leisure.when we reached the place it started pouring so had to see quickly and rush back to the car...but will be visiting again once it a lil more sunny...

The Dunloe Gap is an amazing route. Incredible views along miles of a twisty narrow road that is about one car wide.

The Gap of Dunloe did not disappoint. If you have the opportunity, definitely take the time to check it out. I recommend parking at Kate Kearney's Cottage and walking. The beauty is out of thus world.

The gap of dunloe area is a beautiful hiking location. A prominent landmark between two lakes is the wishing bridge. It takes about 15 minutes from the car park to get there. It was very windy when i visited, so better take care of your hats.

I had an incredible experience during my recent visit to the Gap of Dunloe in West Cork. The landscape was absolutely breathtaking, offering stunning views that left me in awe. The highlight for me was the wishing bridge - a charming addition to an already picturesque setting. The natural beauty of the area was truly captivating, and I highly recommend this destination to anyone seeking a serene and scenic getaway.

10-20 min fairly easy walk to the bridge but give yourself WAYYYY more time. Absolutely gorgeous! Keep walking beyond the bridge though, the whole gap if you can. Well worth it. Would not recommend driving but many do. I just feel that you would miss out on all the beautiful pull off and photo opportunities.

While your bridge is pretty, the surrounding area and the journey to this bridge are the real appeal. Leave some time for yourself to take it all in.

Worth the wander or horse-ride up to see this gorgeous bridge. As a note, driving up is discouraged and horse-rides were about $60

Nice little spot on the way out. Not too much parking around though.

Beautiful walk along a small road. Be careful with traffic as the occasional car goes by and it's a very narrow line. We got lucky with the weather but the views were spectacular! Some sheep were being herded up the road and that was a fun scene to watch as well!

Beautiful. Drivable but very tight. Totally worth driving close, then walking the last few minutes.
