Lovely little cafe in the centre of Killarney. Just off the main street so there isn't as many people walking past and is a bit more space which I liked. I got a tasty Reuben sandwich. I really enjoyed it. However it did only have 2 slices in it which I thought was a little stingy. Usually in a sandwich like that costing €8.95 you would expect 4 at least if not more. You couldn't really taste it that much. My wife got a super food salad. It a really big and came with so toasted bread too. It was good. We got some fries also which were very crispy. Some might think they were maybe a bit over done but I like them extra crispy so that was fine for me. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We sat outside. Would recommend.

Soup of the day was lovely. Staff were friendly and dancing (clearly love working there). Very nice stop while exploring the city.

Visited today with 2 kids. Absolutely wonderful little spot. A hidden gem for sure. Food was a bit slow to come if giving any constructive feedback but well worth the wait. Had both of the veggie breakfast options and really good, probably one of the best we have had when out and about. Well worth a visit and very reasonably priced.

The food is lovely. Shout out to Jess, the blonde girl servicing the tables, very hardworking, polite and helpful. Very centrical, good prices, I would definitely come back. My only suggestion would be to turn the music down a little bit🤗

Nice cafe close to the main street. It was quite busy so we only got some coffee and snacks. All was good, cafe vibrant, but waiting time quite long. Some people gave up waiting. I guess it was just one of the last warm busy weekends. I ll try it again next time when I am in Killarney.

Such lovely people work here! Gluten free sandwich and fries was a godsend for lunch in Killarney. Down a quaint alleyway, cozy indoor and sheltered outdoor seating. Loved the vibes! Really yummy food and drinks menu.

What a great little find! We walked down a side street to find this cafe that looked inviting with outdoor seating. Found a great table, outside, in the non smoking section… The food was excellent. Had the soup and half a sandwich, and the servings were the right portion size. Service was fast and friendly and would go back there again.

My Son and I give this place 5 stars as the food is Delicious. The staff are lovely and very helpful. People can sit outdoors or indoors. It’s reasonable in price also. My child is fussy with food but loved this place for there tasty food. We would go back again to here. There’s a carpark outside of it but it’s €8 a day and it’s not the restaurant carpark so it’s not them charging €8. It’s another company. Lovely atmosphere and nice music they play over the speakers. We loved it here and had zero complaints. Everything was perfect. Thanks Curious Cat Restaurant. From a Local that lives in Kerry.

Made a stop in Killarney looking for a healthy breakfast option and we found plenty in the Curious Cat menu. The "Skillet" is delish, full of flavour with potatoes, mushrooms, a Shakshuka like sauce and mozzarella cheese. The Florentines were gone in a minute. Cute cat topped the Moka coffee as shown in pic. Would def come visit again

If you're in Killarney you have to go here! On our three day road trip this is the best food and service we've had! To be quite frank, it's the best food and service I've had so far on my 3 month stay in Ireland. The waiter was such a sweetheart and the food was delicious.

Located just off of the High Street, I took a chance on this place and I wasn't disappointed! Great choice of vegetarian dishes available and they were well presented and very tasty. The service was friendly and I felt the food was good value for money. Would recommend and will head back there when I return to Killarney.

We have been traveling for about 7 days through Ireland and this place was definitely one of the best places we have found so far. They have really delicious croissants, the croissants took me back to my trip to Paris. Definitely recommend. Great food, great place.

Sound brunch place with plenty of outdoor space too. Food was solid, the crepes were great and service was prompt and friendly. It was lashing that day we where there, but we still you could sit outside and haven't had to worry about any leaks in the roof. Since the place is off the main road it's also a bit quieter than other diners in the area.

When me and my wife come to killarney, we always need to stop by here. The perfect breakfast! We were lucky to have the sun on our side so we got a seat outdoors and for somewhere so close to town it can be quite peaceful. Can't wait for the next visit!

Worst experience ever! Staff were so rude. When we arrived and eventually got the attention of a waitress and asked “can we take a seat?” Her response was “I suppose so”…we then sat for 10minutes at a dirty table, completely ignored! We walked out when we witnessed the table beside us being told by a waiter that their smoothies were ready but the customer had to go and get them inside himself. (We spoke to that table briefly and they recommended us to leave based on their experience!) No idea what the food is like but the staff were horrendous.

was recommended this place by my hostel, and it really disappointed. everyone has bad days, but this was some of the most unprofessional service i’ve ever experienced. at least the waiters were nice and apologetic, but i had to remind them to bring me a menu and my drinks (water & oj - obv from concentrate). i wasn’t allowed to place my food order for 15 minutes while they transitioned from breakfast to lunch (seems like it would make things easier for kitchen if they already knew what they’d have to make). i asked for my food without cheese. i was the second customer to order lunch, but the burrito took some 30 minutes. i had to remind the staff to give me a napkin and cutlery, and when i finally bit into my burrito it was packed with mozzarella.

The Curious Cat is a fantastic café in Killarney. The food was delicious, the coffee was out of this world(made perfectly to order), and the staff were some of the nicest I have ever seen. You can see how much care and consideration the staff put into the food, coffee, and service. I will be back the next time I am in Killarney.

Our group went to this restaurant for breakfast every day that we were visiting Killarney. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu - it was all good. The coffee had such good flavor. BUT I have to say that one of my favorite parts was the service. Our servers were always so attentive and friendly. Delicious food, an open patio, and wonderful service. A great place for breakfast at a very reasonable price.

👍👍 First time visiting Killarney and we stopped by Quinlan’s for lunch. The Wild Atlantic Prawns were very good and the fries were enjoyable as well. The Wild Plaice was good as well.
