This place is just magnificent, full of life and the beauty of the creator. Quite peaceful and thought provoking. Had a nice little chat with Bambi, was in awe of her grace, will Come back and visit her 🥰😁 In short- If words are seeds, let flowers grow from your mouth, not weeds. If hearts are gardens, plant those flowers in the chest of the ones who exist around you. — R.H. Swaney

Free admission to a wonderful little museum and beautiful park in the center of Killarney. The exhibits were very up to date (even had a few fun interactive sections!) and provided a great overview of the geographical and anthropological history of the house and park. The gardens out back are well kept and very peaceful after walking through the shops in town.

There's so much to see and do here I highly recommend a visit for people of all ages. The gardens and vista are stunning. Visit the gallery for the best of local talent, while the house contains a mix educational, entertaining & interactive displays covering geology, biodiversity and the history of the area and the house itself and the people who lived there. A big shout out to Aishling who deserves credit for the warm welcome she gave us. Her enthusiasm for the place is infectious, it's a breath of fresh air to encounter someone with so much passion and interest in their work. A highlight for me was my close encounter with Polly the deer.

Lovely exhibit. Free, they've done a wonderful job rehabbing the home for our enjoyment. The history of the home and the area is very interesting. A must see with the gardens, especially in the summer!

Breathtaking views and sumptuous flowers. Yawning space for families, plenty of walks, and very central to the town.

Beautiful park and gardens in the centre of Killarney Town. The Old stable block is now a very modern and cutting edge museum; it's fun, interactive and very informative. Easily the best museum I've been in, and surprisingly it's all free entry. The gardens are very well tended and has lots of wild areas for wildlife. Even saw some friendly sika deer. Lovely place to spend a couple of hours. Also much less busy than many places around Killarney, seems to be a hidden gem.

I visited this place today during our tour of the Ring of Kerry. I didn’t have a chance to enter the building, but the view was breathtaking.

Beautiful place to relax and its massive so overcrowding isn't a thing unlike many other parks and gardens in Ireland I have been to so far. Enjoyed snapping a few pictures of the mountain ranges in the background. It was also very clean and well maintained. Hope it stays that way.

Super lovely staff. Free entrance to the beautiful estate. They’ve done a beautiful job in displaying all the information. The garden is gorgeous and well kept. So many people coming for a stroll or walk. Peaceful place.

Beautiful views from inside and outside of Killarney house. Lovely movie of the formation of Killarney and its lakes through the ages. Beautiful scenic pictures of local views and its history makes it into a great visit, free of charge. Fragrance of the roses and its beautiful gardens with mountain and lake views adds to its heavenly touches.

Just visited gardens with our dog. We parked across the road which was quite busy. The only bin that we found was outside the front entrance. There might be refreshments but we didn't look just a quick visit 40 mins to walk and look at the beautiful view with a backdrop of mountains from a bench at the front of the.house. Very relaxing after the busy city centre of Killarney. Def worth a visit.

Had we come here prior to many other stops and tours around Killarney and the park, we may have found it more interesting. However, the building itself is really just a history of and introduction to the park. There's nothing to be seen of the original building's rooms or anything of the like. Very much just a visitor center, which was a bit disappointing.
