One of the best places I have ever stayed. Staff, food, location and atmosphere is incredible. Loved every moment! Our room was so lovely, large and the bathroom was just great- with a free standing tub to relax. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were able to provide so many options for things to do. We are in the restaurant one one evening and it was just incredible. Food is top notch. Will be back again! We loved it.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. A bit to corporate for my liking though. Drawing room was cold, huge fireplace but no fire, no blankets or cushions on the sofas to add warmth. No one was in the room a part from us having a drink because all the table at the bar were booked. Rather gloomy. The library is beautiful and cosy, unfortunately there was a small wedding so wasn't available on Friday. Also why all the doors leading to the drawing room and library and reception were shut? Dining room was nice, no tablecloths though, pity as it add a touch of luxury to the room, I know it is the latest fashion, the minimalist approach, but again it looks cold. Photos on website need to be updated.

Truly the best hotel experience we've ever had. It doesn't feel right even calling it a hotel. From the gravel driveway under a canopy of trees, to the gorgeous room, cellar bar, the staff (who are very helpful, personable, and glad to give travel tips and recommendations), this place has it all. The on-site restaurant is some of the best food we've ever eaten. We drank beer on the back wall and watched deer as the sun set. The hotel packed us a lunch and recommended we go to a nearby waterfall to enjoy it. The bathroom floors are heated. The towel racks are heated. The place is just elegance and luxury from start to finish. My wife and I are not fancy folks so we felt like we didn't belong, but we felt very welcomed here. 10/10 highly recommend. Will travel to Ireland again just to stay here and enjoy Killarney.

My only regret about our stay was that it was for 1 night. The hotel is excellent and the staff is very friendly. David gave us some great advice on our travel and was very accommodating during our stay. We enjoyed the cellar bar for a drink. The view from our patio was fantastic. It was set back from the city but we were able to walk into town for dinner. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Overall 5/5!

We had a lovely two night stay . The room was luxurious and quiet and the view out the back patio was a treat with lots of green fields and deer. Breakfast was delicious with the best omelet I have ever had. It’s a bit of a walk downtown (1.6 km) if you don’t want to eat on the premises. We had some hiccups with service in the cellar bar but the food was delicious and overall it was just a little blip in our stay!

This property is a gem! We felt like we were guests at a country estate. The restaurant was amazing! There was a fire burning in the fireplace when we arrived. The room was luxurious and extremely comfortable. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We were able to walk around the grounds and into Kilarney. What a fabulous place!

We spend two nights in the Cahernane House hotel. The house is beautiful with very tasteful decor to compliment this historic house. The staff are amazing and it is worth taking the time to read the profiles of the members of staff that are in the welcome book in the room. Highly recommend visiting here, with some beautiful walks nearby. We did the loops around Ross Castle and Torc Waterfall. Only 2km from the town center as well.

The hotel is very welcoming and warm. My favourite part is the Guest Room Book containing profiles of the staff. The hotel sent us plenty of recommendations and arranged a taxi to take us to dinner. We stayed in the coach house and it was an amazing room. Peaceful and a lovely view into the grounds. In the morning we were greeted by 12 deer outside the window. The interior of the main house is historic and lovely. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of options. We had a drink in the cellar bar, not only were the drinks excellent but the staff was entertaining as well. They went above and beyond with a surprise plate of birthday treats. Wish we could have stayed longer.

From arrival to departure everything was perfect the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. We had the most amazing room The Herbert Suite which was to die for with the most amazing views. I should imagine regardless of where you are situated all the rooms would be amazing. On our second day we started with the Champagne breakfast and then we were collected by Cal with his Jaunting car and we had a wonderful trip to Ross Castle and dropped into Killarney for a wander and then headed back to the hotel. We ate in the Restaurant and we can honestly say each course was delightful and for once we didn't even season our food as it was perfect. It was a pleasure to meet Emer and her team and we look forward to returning.

Stayed here in late October. The fire was on in the foyer, it really set the atmosphere of the hotel, cosy, comfortable, homely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The views are breath-taking. Will definitely book this location again in the future. Beautiful wedding location. Thanks for having us 🙏🏻

Cannot say enough how wonderful this location was. GORGEOUS grounds and lovely room. We happened to be lucky enough to stay in the actual house in one of the larger rooms and it was amazing. The package included dinner which was stellar, a hot breakfast each morning and a boat ride out to the island near the castle. Soooooo cool. They have bikes you can borrow to ride around. We loved it soo much and hopefully will be able to come back and stay again!

Perfect! Rooms are spectacular. Location excellent. Very relaxing, but be prepared to hear the cows out back in the morning. (We liked it.) Be patient when in the bar late as they are somewhat shortstaffed. This place is the best!!

Exceptional stay at the Cahernane House Hotel The hotel was simply amazing, the staff were exceptional and were present to cater to our needs at all times. Our room was very spaciuos and super clean. Attention to detail and personal touches made were so thoughtful and appreciated ☺️. We enjoyed the nice relaxed hotel atmosphere very much. Breakfast served to the table made a welcome change to the busy buffet breakfasts. A very special mention to Sonia- our girls already named their Cahernane ducks and cannot wait to come back and tell you their names 😍 It is just such a special place to be able to visit. We would return time and time again!

Easily my favorite place in Ireland. The hotel is situated in Killarney near the National Park. We spent the day hiking and then arrived at the Cahernane for our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Cahernane is like a renovated manor and they have a carriage house converted in to large rooms/bathrooms. The grounds were very well maintained and breakfast was included. Breakfast was very tasty and would highly recommend staying here.

We had our destination wedding at Cahernane House Hotel in April 2023 and it was unbelievable. The location, grounds, proximity to town, service, stunning and comfortable rooms, and even the breakfast made it the most amazing experience we and our wedding guests have ever had. Thank you to the staff for making our entire stay an experience we will never forget!

We had our wedding here last Thursday. We wanted something romantic and peaceful and we got exactly that. Emer and Darren in particular were SO very helpful to us as we were planning and on the day too. Emer is a wonderful lady who is so professional and very good at her job. We had a beautiful day and couldn't be happier with our experience at the hotel. The decor all around the hotel is so elegant and ethereal. Absolutely gorgeous hotel and we will definitely be back for the food. We arrived back to our room that night to find the swans and real flowers on our bed which was so sweet.

This is an excellent hotel. The staff are friendly ,welcoming and helpful. We stayed here for three nights as we were attending a family wedding that was held here. We had a meal in the cellar bar which was really good. Although we didn't eat at the restaurant the if food served for the wedding meal was representative of the quality then that was really enjoyable. Our room was spacious, it was kept very clean and toiletries and the tea and coffee supplies replenished. We would definitely revisit this hotel.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, one of the best we've ever stayed in. The welcome in reception was so nice. We expected a nice double room and to our surprise it was more a junior suite with a wardrobe area, sitting room and the ensuite with bath and shower was heavenly. We visited the bar on our first night and chose from their bistro menu. The service and food were excellent, and a good pint of guinness too. A very comfortable bed gave a great sleep followed by an excellent breakfast with the best service again. Our dining experience in the evening was second to none. The food was delicious and we were made to feel so special throughout. If you want to get away for a luxurious break, I highly recommend the Cahernane.

The hotel itself is stunning. It is close to all the most important sites in kerry, and is close to nearby dining. If you don't want to stray too far, the hotel's restaurants serve amazing food and drinks in an elegant setting. What really sets this place apart is the staff. They are truly gifted in the art of hospitality. A stay here may change what you expect from a quality hotel stay.

They delivered my wife’s and my dream wedding. On top of just an absolutely beautiful hotel and grounds, the staff is even better. We truly felt as we were the only party in the hotel - and we weren’t. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Literally every aspect from arrival to check out, every detail on our wedding day, it was a dream come true. If you want to get away to a peaceful retreat this is your place. If you want to have a fairy tale wedding, this is your place. The staff, grounds, and hotel itself are everything we wanted and more.

My best friend and I were looking forward to staying here more than the rest of our stays while in Ireland. It did not disappoint! From the staff to the accommodations everything was AMAZING! David, the hotel Manager was incredible! He gave us tons of details on where to go and when. Lots of information on the Ring of Kerry. Dean was a patient and attentive bartender in the cellar bar! The decor and onsite food is lovely! Highly recommend.

This is a really lovely property on the edge of the Killarney national park. The main building is very historic with large rooms that are beautiful furnished and decorated. It has a large dining room that is comfortable and elegant. There are other sitting rooms as well and a baby grand piano for you musicians. I played it and it was in good tune. There is a secondary building that is newer with more guest rooms. We stayed there and loved it. The gardens are very pretty and the entire property is tended to a high standard. You can walk to the city center if you are in good physical condition. It is about 1.5 miles but flat. You can cycle to the park and see the sights. Be sure to check the working condition of your bike. The bikes from Cahernane are a bit worn and lacking in uphill capability. Don't miss the cozy cellar bar for a glass of wine, an Irish whiskey or a pint of Guinness!!

Absolutely beautiful estate. David is the star of Cahernane, making everybody feel welcome and special. We had a delicious breakfast in the dining room each morning and finished each night in The Cellar with snacks and drinks. All food and drinks were superb! A few more GF options would be appreciated! The hotel and room decor is lovely and attention to detail is fabulous (nice amenities, bath sheets, etc). We were in room 19 and enjoyed every ounce of it except it was a bit hot. There is no AC since it is in the original part of the home so a ceiling fan is a much needed addition. The two dormer windows only open up 3-4" (not allowing air to flow) and the small fan didn't quite cut it. There were just a few hours here and there that needed more air flow, otherwise we were fine. Also, another shelf above the toilet would be wonderful. The little shelf above the sink isn't enough to hold all our necessities! We will definitely recommend this place to all and hope to return someday!
